I wasn’t aware it was ‘against the rules’ to hang wet beach towels outside. The staff was very friendly and kind when they made me aware of that rule. The interstate is very close so noise may be an issue for some. My grandsons loved the stay, the pool and fire pit for making S’mores.

They have it down to science. We were there 2 days and watched people come and go as this is a great location to stop when traveling west. Definitely worth taking a few hours to go see Sioux Falls. Very clean and friendly. Quiet nights.

This KOA was cramped with most RV closely packed together. It's also super noisy being very close to the freeway. The staff was super nice and accommodating though. Not recommended due to the location and close quarters.

Loved the stay. Chance to relax with friends . Just wish we could have had a bit of shade but still worked out ok. No doubt we will be back. �

Stayed in cabin K-2, it and the bath house are nice and clean, friendly staff. Very good experience, thanks.

It was a short stay, overnight only. I feel the $70 plus fee was a bit extreme, but admit the grounds campsites were a notch above most. I will return at a later date.

Very efficient express check in where they take your card on line however you still have to go inside to find out your site number Bath house very clean but I had to do the limbo to get under the low shower head Didn’t sleep well due to noise from interstate and security lights

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The campground had shade trees and lots of flat sites with hookups. The reason i won't return is the sites are doubled up, too close together, and the intetstate noise was awful.

Extremely neat and clean bathrooms and laundry! It’s crowded but it’s an Journey so not meant for a lot of luxury. We enjoyed the pool. Having miscalculated our mileage, our hosts generously refunded our third night so we could move to another KOA. Thanks so much!

We didn't realize that we were booking a stay during "Bike Week". The 4 star rating is a result of the continuous motorcycle engine noise and the overwhelmed wi-fi system.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We were readjusting wifi that week my apologies but its all straightened out. Sturgis is the largest motorcyle rally in the world which occurs yearly, bikers are some of the lifeblood of our states tourism economy, I apologize for the noise.

This is a nice KOA and a convenient stop as we were traveling across South Dakota. The office staff was friendly and the cabin was clean, as were the restrooms. We asked about someplace local to eat and we enjoyed our meal when we went. It was very hot during out stay and the A/C in our cabin worked well. On our way out the next day we went to see the Sioux Falls at Falls Park and it was great

The only thing that I didn’t care for was the fact the freeway was so close. Other than that, it is a wonderful campground with a nice pool, playground, showers, laundry and store. The staff was wonderful, especially Mary, who went above and beyond for us!

Very helpful staff escorted us to our site, and helped with a problem we were having connecting our trailer to electricity.

The campsite is so close to the the highway that nobody was able to sleep. The office and store looked fresh and nice, everything else looked old and unattractive. Mini golf and basketball courses looked extremely bad. Showers were clean but there were only 2 and there was little to no water pressure. Pool was ok, staff was very friendly. Luckily we stayed only 1 night.

I am glad you thought our remodeled store was nice, we are continuously looking to remodel things as we move forward year over year. I will look into the water pressure which has not been a complaint before, we have more than 5 showers per sex. 1 night stays is what our specialty is.

It was just one night as we were passing through town, but our stay was enjoyable nonetheless. Clean grounds, nice shade trees, nice store.

Very nice facility and very well kept. Sites were tight but no worries as a Journey. Staff was great and recommended visiting Falls Park which was a perfect location for an evening walk. Slight noise from I90 but did not disturb our sleep. WIFI was very good.
