Great stay.....very clean! Staff wonderful and welcoming. Only drawback is a little noise from interstate but not bad.

I have had great experiences in lots of KOAs but this one as not what I have come to know at KOA Kampgrounds. It started when we were running behind due to traffic and were not going to get there until after 10 pm. We called the campground and informed them that we were running late and they would not help us. We wanted logs and a fire pit. A lot more happened but only allowed 400 letters.

The cabin was great! However, it is extremely noisy because it’s right by a highway.

The traffic noise is bad on both sides of the park- interstate traffic and truck traffic coming out of their terminal. The campground itself is very nice, the facilities are well kept and clean. Sorry, but due to traffic noise, I will not stay there again and I will not recommend your KOA to anyone.

Cabin 2 had garbage bag type black plastic stuck in the dirt on the right side of the cabin. The bottom area of the legs of the two stools inside the cabin were filthy. The cabin appeared very worn and felt very unwelcoming. The Interstate traffic behind the cabin made it very difficult to sleep. The night before I stayed in a Buffalo WY KOA cabin which was beautiful and clean and well cared for.

Staff very helpful & friendly. Very nice bathroom and activity center. Well kept campground, nicely manicured. Some hyway noise. Easy access on and off Interstate. We had a very nice 2 room cabin. Overall nice one night stay.

This was the worst stay we have ever had at a KOA. This campground is big enough that it needs someone to patrol a couple times a night to make sure loud party's are not going on. We were told after the fact that we could call a phone number and someone from KOA would come out & check it out. Guests should not have to monitor the campground. Party lasted until 5 am no sleep for guests in cabins.

It was very nice, comfortable and nice layout of the campgrounds. I stayed in cabin 3 which was a cute and relaxing. Everything was amazing and good. Just 1 thing was cabin 4 next to us. Some how took our firepit and picnic table in the middle of the night. Playing loud music but I was dead asleep. I didn’t realize this stuff until early in the morning. Overall this is a good place to relax

you're right on the highway, the cabin had signs reminding you keep clean, pets off the beds, yet the bed clearly had muddy dog prints tried to wipe them off decided to flip the mattress. There also were a pair of shorts under the bed. They were black so maybe hard to see but I moved out the bed to make it and found them. The bathrooms great. The staff extra friendly, other guests pleasant

Amazing staff. We came in when it was pouring rain and we were fortunate enough to be able to snag a cancelled cabin reservation (initially had tent site). Friendliest and most accommodating staff you could ask for

Tenting site was great and bathrooms were clean. On return trip we stayed in cabin because bad weather was expected. Cabin sure could use a good cleaning. Brandon in office was very great at his job. Having people like him taking your reservation and then checking us in made it all worth it.

Everything was nice and clean, and the cabin was adorable. I just wish it wasn't directly next to the interstate, as the traffic noise and light pollution took away from the magic of the experience. Great facilities, though!

Fabulously maintained campground with very clean restrooms and showers. Excellent friendly accommodating staff. Well spaced campsites to preserve privacy. Adorable clean rental cabins. Within easy driving distance of many great sight seeing locations!

Super friendly staff! Just wish the mattress in the cabin was better more support for more comfort. This was one of the more expensive KOAs I have stayed at.

My stay was quite great… except for the awkward set up of the cabins. I felt like it was impossible to give my neighbors privacy and felt I had none.

Everyone is so nice and helpful! The place is kept up. The only things that would make it better is for the pool to actually be heated and maybe a hot tub.

Always enjoy staying in your cabins. Cabin just needs an electrical outlet at the head of the double bed for things like a CPAP machine. Also need pegs to hang clothes, jackets, hats, etc. on.

This is a nice KOA and a convenient stop as we were traveling across South Dakota. The office staff was friendly and the cabin was clean, as were the restrooms. We asked about someplace local to eat and we enjoyed our meal when we went. It was very hot during out stay and the A/C in our cabin worked well. On our way out the next day we went to see the Sioux Falls at Falls Park and it was great

The campsite is so close to the the highway that nobody was able to sleep. The office and store looked fresh and nice, everything else looked old and unattractive. Mini golf and basketball courses looked extremely bad. Showers were clean but there were only 2 and there was little to no water pressure. Pool was ok, staff was very friendly. Luckily we stayed only 1 night.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I am glad you thought our remodeled store was nice, we are continuously looking to remodel things as we move forward year over year. I will look into the water pressure which has not been a complaint before, we have more than 5 showers per sex. 1 night stays is what our specialty is.

We arrived late but the cabin was ready for us and they had left the key in it. Everything was clean and comfortable. They even had free coffee at the office which was a lovely treat. Only suggestion to make is to raise the shower heads in the shower house near the pool. Although I am only 5’8”, I had to bend over to get my hair washed. Otherwise, all was great!

It would be nice for the pool to stay open until 9, especially on hot days, for those traveling to have time to swim. Nice clean restrooms & cabin site.

The staff were wonderful and very cheerful. Everything they did worked well. They were even able or willing to stay open a minute later then closing time so that I could purchase ice. Cash register has been closed so they billed me in the morning.

Very nice cabin, with A/C. Clean bathrooms. Pleasant campground, with nice shade trees. Very well kept. Yes, highway road noise is present, but campground is a very nice one and people were all friendly and helpful.

Very nice facility and very well kept. Sites were tight but no worries as a Journey. Staff was great and recommended visiting Falls Park which was a perfect location for an evening walk. Slight noise from I90 but did not disturb our sleep. WIFI was very good.
