During the summer of 2021 we have stayed in several KOA’s. The Sioux Falls KOA was the first K0A where we met the manager. The Sioux Falls KOA manager leads his crew by example and made sure that our needs were taken care of during our stay. The Sioux Falls KOA should be example for all the KOA’s to show every KOA how an RV park should be managed. The Sioux Falls KOA was the best!

One night stay on a cross country trip. We felt very safe. The grounds and bathrooms were very clean. Other campers friendly.

Loud! The interstate traffic is soooo loud. We didn’t get to use any of the amenities because they were closing everything when we arrived. I was randomly charge an extra amount that no one could explain also. I asked why I had to pay extra and no one could tell me. I would not recommend.

Professional from the start. We got pre check-in emails, and much e-mail communication to make our stay easy. The store was very pleasing and had a good variety of items. We were met outside the registration office by an employee who showed us where to park. Then after we were checked in we had someone on a golf cart lead us to our site. The sites were all clean and well cared for.

Very clean and maintained property. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Rating a 4 because of having to pay to rent a fire pit and not being allowed to use a drying rack for drying swim towels and clothes.

The campground was clean, tidy, and had everything you need, but what made them stand out was the super friendly and helpful staff.

Pleasant stay, just a quick overnight while traveling through. The staff was very nice, especially the young man who led us to our site.

Stayed overnight. Sitrs are clean, well maintained. The only issue is they are a little tight for a 37ft motorhome towing a vehicle.

The campground was very tidy and clean all of the employees were very cordial, helpful and pleasant. Best of all the showers and bathrooms were extremely clean very well kept. We just were so impressed all around with everyone and everything to do with this Campground we would recommend it to anyone of our family and friends and we would definitely come back. And the pool was wonderful.

Fabulous stay! Very organized, & utilized their space without it feeling crowded! I found it very helpful that a worker on golf cart lead us to our spot & helped park it! Luv’d the teepee & enjoyed that the owner took time to give us a tour of it when it wasn’t occupied!! Luv the Journey KOA!!

Pros: Staff is very friendly, nice facilities, well kept and organized. Cons: Space A19 shouldn't really be a spot spread out. Also semi training school to west louder than highway. Would stay again. Call and stay now if in area

We enjoyed our stay. I do have a suggestion for you. A possible "Little Free Library" for the campers. My husband built one for our neighborhood and it has been enormously popular! You could have it inside at the laundry/arcade or outside of the office/store. It is a fun service to offer your campers--a chance to grab or leave a book--campers of all ages. Just a thought.

Great suggestion actually we do have a book exchange in our laundry, but we are ordering a little library to put outside for guests to enjoy! Thanks for staying!

Super clean and well-kept! Staff was very helpful and kind. Laundry facilities were clean and maintained. Bathrooms and shower facilities were clean and roomy.

we loved the KOA it was clean. The site we rented was wonderful. The patio furniture was great and the BBQ pit was great. If we are every back this way will differently stay again and maybe longer.

The staff were friendly, the campground was clean and well organized. But, this is no place for a tent. The campground is a stones throw from a major highway intersection. I didn't sleep all night even though I used earplugs. The constant traffic noise, banging of big rigs, and air brakes was enough to loosen my fillings. I won't stay there again unless you can relocate.

11 min drive to Falls park. Convenient and easy exit from the interstate. Super friendly staff! Gave us recommendations on where to go. Only downside is that it’s directly by the freeway and you can see/ hear the road/noise. Nice tent areas.

Overall a nice campground. Very clean, nice staff and good for a one night stay. We were a little shocked to find no fire pit and then when we asked for one that we had to rent one.... We declined. For that reason we would likely find another campground next time. A fire is kinda just a part of camping and to be charged extra to have one seems crazy.

We missed the fact that clothelines are not allowed in the campground and had a line hanging on our camper with towels drying. When we returned to our campsite a note was attached to the camper door stating the rules. This seems like an unreasonable rule when camping.

The grass is more important than the customer, we were asked to move our truck several times (if our fifth wheel was too big for the site, they should not have parked us there).

Really nice place to stay, but they will definitely gouge you for damages if they can. I rented a cabin and had the windows open to let some air in. My 4 year old accidentally pushed the screen out of the window. It was very obvious that the screen had been ripped out many times previously with staples being used to tack it back up. I guess the owner charges $25 for a 5 second staple job.

Very nice facility and very well kept. Sites were tight but no worries as a Journey. Staff was great and recommended visiting Falls Park which was a perfect location for an evening walk. Slight noise from I90 but did not disturb our sleep. WIFI was very good.
