Such nice accommodating hosts. It was rainy when we arrived and they moved us to a different (drier) site so we would have an easier time setting up. Nearby sheep farm was fun to see. This campground is way off a main road and it looks like the road in and out floods which would be an inconvenience.

The surrounding area and quite a bit of the campground was flooded when we arrived. The new owners had taken possession of the campground a week ago & are as nice as any hosts we’ve met. This KOA is pretty remote, so if you want a quick hop off hop on the interstate, this isn’t the best choice. But for a peaceful, great place with the kids, this is great. The dog park is very nice!

The owners/staff were incredibly welcoming! They were amazingly accommodating and made us feel at home. Campgrounds were extremely clean. The check-in site/general store was nicely stocked and very clean. We've already recommended the site to family. The upgraded site that we chose had a lovely patio and in addition to a picnic table, a very nice patio table with 4 comfortable chairs.

Only stayed overnight, owner was at the desk and was very friendly. Gravel site we had was level. Ours was a full hook up including cable. We would stay again.

Stayed the last night of the season. Very quiet, only 4 other campers in the park. Good for an overnight. I didn’t use any of the facilities.

Enjoyed the KOA at Rochester, Illinois. The deluxe cabin was very clean and roomy and the grounds were well kept.

The warning about wifi should be headed if it is important. Also, T-mobile service is very spotty...

We stayed for 4 nights , enjoyed our stay even though it rained almost every day. They have a great little dog area. Nice little campground out in the middle of nowhere. No wifi...very weak. Love the remote area.

Nice people, but was not happy that you pay a good amount of money for a Super Deluxe Cabin and it does not come with paper towels, linens, coffee, etc. without having to pay extra for it.

Very quiet, peaceful campsite away from any road noise yet convenient to seeing Springfield. Hosts were lovely!

Very nice place to stay. A little ways off the main road, but that's OK. Very quite. Easy in and out and the owners were very friendly!!

The owner was pleasant and the campground was well maintained and clean. Super kid friendly with many activities available at no extra cost. We loved the mini golf course and the dog park. We will be visiting again next season!

Great place! super friendly manager, nice spots, zero problems, Immaculately-maintained bathrooms, we enjoyed a very nice stay here. Can't wait to come back next year when the pool is open!

Owner was very accommodating & friendly. Rstrms were spotless, lots for kids to do & open play areas. Away fr main hwys so pretty quiet. Springfield is very nice destination/historical spot.

This campground is quaint, quiet and perfect! We loved all of the shade trees and sunshine. Linda the owner was absolutely awesome. We will definitely be back and recommend it to our friends.

Great, quiet campground. Would have stayed longer if I had more time. Do need to upgrade your internet connection. Was very spotty.

Not easy to get to. Campground is pool table flat with gravel pads and roadways elevated above grassy areas. When we were there it rained and we ended up with a couple of inches of water outside our camper door and throughout ours and most other camper sites.

We stayed three nights. The person running the campground was very nice and very helpful. The restrooms were very clean. we enjoyed the site we had. The site was plenty big and nice and shady. The gravel was a little hard to stay on but was wide enough once you got lined up on it correctly. we really enjoyed our stay there.

This KOA has definitely seen better days. The playground and miniature golf REALLY need to be refurbished and painted. Not sure if owners are too poor or too cheap to fix the place up? Appreciated the free bicycles, but those could use a little love as well. Location is WAY off the beaten path. Not sure how this location recently won KOA awards?

This KOA is nice. It is quite a hike from Springfield and I need to be better at reviewing just where campsites are. Overall, a good site but I didn't like the narrow roads to get there and how far it was from Springfield...

Thanks for an awesome camping grounds! My family and I, along with our friends, really enjoyed our time there. My family stayed in the deluxe cabin and my friends stayed in their camper, which was conveniently parked directly next to us. It was perfect. I'll definitely be recommending your site. Thanks again!

This campground is beautiful!!! We came here sight unseen. We got the site with the nicest glass table and chairs on the patio. I hardly go inside the RV because I love it so much. It's October so most things are out of season. It's a nice campground with lots of room. We are not piled on top of each other which is so great!! No complaints.... I recommend this campground 100% In October beware of tons of stink bugs. Buy a fly swatter.... it will be your best friend.

I stayed at one of the cabins. It was more than perfect. The cabin was clean and just right for one, maybe two people. I use KOA for a secret hotel room. It cost less, you get more, and you can have a fire every night. The owner here is wonderful and my only complaint about her is she is fixing to retire soon. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.
