Not happy that we weren't able to use our sewer while we were there due to septic issues. That's the only bad thing I can say. This is a very nice campground. Very clean bathroom/showers. Large green area - lots of activities for kids. Rural area 5 miles from the interstate means a QUIET night's sleep!

This was the first time we have stayed at this particular KOA. We reserved a buddy site with our good friends. The campground itself was well kept. However both nights were full of lots of noise. This consisted of continuous barking dogs from one campsite and a literal “dance party” at another buddy site right by us. I feel a drive thru by “hosts” after quiet hours start would be useful

The drive to the KOA was beautiful along the lakeshore and unusually long (7 miles) since KOA is usually right off the interstate. That is our one complaint.

We were looking for a nice, quiet, off-the-beaten-path campground, and we found it here! It was everything I was hoping it would be...had everything we needed, clean and friendly. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely be staying again. Thank you.

We have stayed at a few KOAs in the last 2 years of fulltime travel. This place charged us an extra $8 a day for 2 kids under 6. I can understand an extra charge but this place has zero amenities. The only thing open was the playground. The park is very well kept and the host was very nice during check in.

Nice, quiet campground. Don’t let the reviews about how far it is from the highway or the road into the campground scare you - it’s not bad at all. We stayed for one night and liked the campground.

Clean park. Level gravel sites with good hookups. Staff was helpful and friendly. Only issue is the road getting to the park. It is a narrow, bumpy road. Best to come in from the north and follow the well placed signs.

We arrived at the campground after hours. Our check-in paperwork was in the nightbox. We stayed at a tent site. Was only there one night. Restrooms were clean and grounds looked to be well taken care of.

Our hostess was extremely accommodating and our Kabin was much cleaner than the koa in the quad cities where we normally stay.

We had an awesome weekend. Everything was well taken care of. Nice quiet campground. Store had a little bit of everything in it. All the sites were well taken care of and all hookups were in great shape. Looking forward to our next trip back there in the future.

Nice clean quiet campground. The banana bikes were alot of fun but in rough condition. The playground was clean and well kept. The KOA road is very narrow with rough shoulders and long in both directions. We will likely book another stay at this KOA next time we come to Springfield.

We stopped over on our way to Michigan for one night and decided it was close enough to home to spend a Holiday weekend there. Nice level spot with great trees! And the other campers were very friendly! Thank you!

Our neighbors had 4 barking dogs. Very difficult to get to sleep and they started early in the morning. Not good.

The store was lacking supplies, the sewer dump outlet were really high above the ground, making it hard to drain the tanks. The holes at the end of driveway exit needs to be filled in. Grounds were kept up nice, and everything was clean

This campground is beautiful!!! We came here sight unseen. We got the site with the nicest glass table and chairs on the patio. I hardly go inside the RV because I love it so much. It's October so most things are out of season. It's a nice campground with lots of room. We are not piled on top of each other which is so great!! No complaints.... I recommend this campground 100% In October beware of tons of stink bugs. Buy a fly swatter.... it will be your best friend.

I stayed at one of the cabins. It was more than perfect. The cabin was clean and just right for one, maybe two people. I use KOA for a secret hotel room. It cost less, you get more, and you can have a fire every night. The owner here is wonderful and my only complaint about her is she is fixing to retire soon. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.
