Just overnighted but found the campground nice. Easy access with a pull-thru site. Quiet overnight. Some reviews voiced concern about the rural gravel road leading to the campground. It was no problem.

We have stayed at several campgrounds and this is the most peaceful experience for us. We have been there with multiple family members and all have enjoyed it. We will be scheduling another visit.

We were very disappointed in the camping cabin. We have stayed at many KOA camping cabins in the past and have always enjoyed our stay. But the Springfield cabin was well below par. The bedding was not the usual wooden posted bed with a camping mattress; it was a metal frame bed with a regular mattress. The cabin floor was cheap along with all of the furnishings. It was not up to KOA standards.

WE love this KOA! The sites are level, the atmosphere FEELS like a campground. IT has good electric power. WE’ve camped here probably 4-5 times over the years and plan to camp here again before they close for the winter.

Beautiful country setting. A bit remote, but just a 10 minute drive into Springfield. Great signage so easy to find. All sites were pull throughs, with a variety of set ups. Pool, kids area, small fenced dog park. Very clean!!

It’s just an ok campground with hardly any phone service. It can be panicky knowing phone calls aren’t coming through. We have US Cellular and have never had this problem any where else. No one was smiling or really made you feel welcome. Almost like they didn’t appreciate your business. We wouldn’t suggest this KOA and are surprised it is a KOA. It’s like camping at a State park. We enjoyed the quiet of the campground. Even though it was far off the beaten path, the signage from I-55 to the campground was excellent! It was so easy to find (even having to contend with Google not quite getting it right). We stayed 1 night on our way to Michigan and 1 night on our way back. Linda, the host was great.

Spacious and shaded. Dinky dog area. Very ofd pile of debris/burn pile right in the middle of the tent area. An even bigger pile had bushes and trees growing out of it. All surrounded by freshly cut grass.

We had a large level spot with trees provided shade, which was nice. Laundry facility was nice as well. But like the other KOA’s we have stayed at, the WiFi was weak.

Great clean campground. We were visiting family in the area that stay, if we were spending more time at the campground would have preferred a spot away from the playground ---but enjoyed the fun the kids were having

While you have a wonderful park, until you get a safe water system I wouldn’t recommend that anyone stay at your park. Your KOA page had a warning about cruddy WIFI, why doesn't it include a warning about the water not being potable? Not having it PROMINENTLY posted nor telling campers about it when they are checking in is not a very good business practice.

We were not informed about the water issue before arrival or included in our packet that we picked up after hours. If we had been informed prior, with all the health dept details we may have continued with our trip. Owner was helpful with a refund, but advance info would have been helpful.

Very nice and quiet campground off the beaten path but close to everything in Springfield. Very clean restrooms and showers; newly remodeled.

This is probably an average RV campground. The host was friendly and had our reservation ready. We were in a pull through under a tree. It was a bit muddy and the roots of the tree made it difficult to walk or set up chairs near our unit. While it was very quiet, the location was about 10 miles from fuel or food. The KOA road is quite narrow and a bit scary with the "Road May Flood" signs.

Linda helped us find a repairman for our rig, she kept the ground immaculate, and I have never seen a cleaner shower room!!! We will definitely stay again.

This was by far the worst KOA I have stayed at. The mattress was a spring not a mattress. There was nothing to do. It was awful. Almost left in the middle of the night.

This is the best KOA where we have ever stayed!! Plenty of greenery, shade, and quiet time away from highway. Beautiful trees, spacious grounds, and much to entertain grandchildren. Loved the pool so much did not have time for miniature golf or bounce pad, but kids did enjoy playground also. Stayed in tent area where welcome shade was available on hot sunny days. Thumbs Up.

There were plenty of open spaces, but was placed furthest away from facilities on an overnight stay not on a weekend. I guess owner figures you always hook up everything so it does not matter where they put you. Stopped there to visit Lincoln Museum, but will probably not be back to this KOA.

Checked in by a staff member that was obviously more interested in remaining in her lounge chair. Park is old and not well manicured. No working WiFi or cable. Would not return

This campground is beautiful!!! We came here sight unseen. We got the site with the nicest glass table and chairs on the patio. I hardly go inside the RV because I love it so much. It's October so most things are out of season. It's a nice campground with lots of room. We are not piled on top of each other which is so great!! No complaints.... I recommend this campground 100% In October beware of tons of stink bugs. Buy a fly swatter.... it will be your best friend.

I stayed at one of the cabins. It was more than perfect. The cabin was clean and just right for one, maybe two people. I use KOA for a secret hotel room. It cost less, you get more, and you can have a fire every night. The owner here is wonderful and my only complaint about her is she is fixing to retire soon. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.
