I booked the campsite a few days ago but the site they gave me was not good even though they had a lot of empty sites plus too many flies and mosquitos.

Not convenient to access from Interstate. Showers need upgrading badly. This appears to be a very old and tired KOA that needs new investment in the basic services (restrooms and showers), add gravel to avoid large puddles at campsite (our electrical cord was submerged under water after a storm, not good).

Very clean and orderly. Location could be better and road is narrow and rough. Campground is very nice.

Our site was very level. Friendly staff..answered all my questions. Campground only miles from downtown, very scenic drive into Springfield. Lots for kids to do. Only downfall would narrow road…KOA Road. Good thing we didn’t meet another RV!

I rented a cabin for five days. The cabin was spotless and very homelike. The bed was comfortable. The owner is as nice as can be and helpful. The staff is friendly without being intrusive. The pool and shower room were in great shape. The cabins are a great go-to when I did not feel like hauling my trailer.

Very nice a campground! Our four kids range from 4-13 and they all enjoyed the bouncy pillow and pool. The pool was very clean and the campground was quiet. It is small enough to easily walk to the park, pool and bouncy pillow from all of the campsites.

Lady that checked us in was rude ���� You know it takes nothing to be nice ����������and we only stayed one night …on way home from Iowa to Florida..we are staying in KOAs all way out and back …this was the worst … find another one ���������������� never again ��

We spent three nights there and spent two days in the Speingfield area doing all things Abe Lincoln. This is a nice quiet, secluded KOA. It has a number of amenities for entertainment. It is well kept. The restrooms/showers are clean and modern. The only negative about this place is the last mile of road into the campground, it is I believe a county road, but is in rather poor condition.

had a good stay, however my site was muddy due to a lack of gravel. I know it rained during the day before we got there, but still wet two days later.

The park itself is great. Site was level. Park is well maintained. However, the roads to get to it leave a bit to be desired. Narrow with overhanging limbs and rough, but doable and well worth the trip back.

Older park but very clean. The location is remote but once there was better than most KOA parks. Staff was pleasant, sites were long enough but as with most RV parks were a little closer together than we would like. The showers/restrooms were better than 99% of most campgrounds. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow but more than adequate. Would stay here again if in the area.

I was very underwhelmed by this KOA. The RV spots were much closer together than I expected. There is little/no wifi, which isn't the end of the world, but it isn't even worth saying you have it. The kids play area was nothing to write home about. There were some cool bikes that kids could use and ride around. I didn't use the pool, but it looked descent enough.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us find spots together so we could all be near each other. They offered to deliver wood for us. They were flexible and always stayed friendly even we couldn't make up our minds at one point. The campground is kept very nice and clean, the pool was pristine, and the bathrooms were wonderful. Overall it is one of the best campgrounds!

Really enjoyed relaxing and listening to God by unplugging from the grind for a couple of days. Nice newly renovated cabin. Hoping to return but not sure when yet.

We would stay here again if we're in the area. Very clean with lots of fun things for kids and adults to do. A pool, a playground, bikes. Lots of trees for shade. Plenty of places to walk your dog. Friendly staff.

Not sure whether to say the host was rude or just not happy, but definitely unfriendly. I felt like I was putting her out at check in and the next morning told the kids to get off the bikes. It could be a pretty nice campground if it was updated and somehow the attitudes could change. We won’t be back.

I couldn't believe how far this campground was from the highway. No trains, road noise, just quiet! We had a patio and buddy site. Great cabins. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Linda. See you soon!

Very nice KOA. Clean, neat and orderly property. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice amenities. Good internet considering remote location. I have stayed at this KOA previously and would do so again.

We had a great time!!!! My kids loved the pool, jump pad, banana bikes, and playground. It was nice they were kept busy and not constantly saying "I'm bored". We will definitely be back and also plan to check out other koas and are considering joining the membership program. Thank you so much!

Host is very rude to kids and very unaccommodating. Grounds unkempt. Equipment rotting out. Booked site with patio and didn't get it. Worst KOA I've seen. Shut it down or get it fixed up and please replace the host with someone who likes kids. My 5 grand kids hated it.

We enjoyed our stay. We didn’t use the free bikes or miniature golf , but were glad they were available. Bathhouses were very well kept up and we really liked the shower facilities.

This campground is beautiful!!! We came here sight unseen. We got the site with the nicest glass table and chairs on the patio. I hardly go inside the RV because I love it so much. It's October so most things are out of season. It's a nice campground with lots of room. We are not piled on top of each other which is so great!! No complaints.... I recommend this campground 100% In October beware of tons of stink bugs. Buy a fly swatter.... it will be your best friend.

I stayed at one of the cabins. It was more than perfect. The cabin was clean and just right for one, maybe two people. I use KOA for a secret hotel room. It cost less, you get more, and you can have a fire every night. The owner here is wonderful and my only complaint about her is she is fixing to retire soon. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.
