We camp frequently and at KOA. Springfield, IL has nicest put put course, but could use some TLC. There were several things for families to do. Pool water was cloudy. A child of one of the employees was left unsupervised at the pool. He was allowed to hang out at the pool with guests.

Nice park, gravel sites, nice trees. Not really located near anything except corn fields... 5 mile drive to nice lake park, 10-15min drive to nearest convenience store. Plenty of Kids. Owners are very nice people. Grounds are well maintained. So-so WiFi. So-so cellular services ..

Had some loud neighbors that were up late and dogs that liked to bark, but all around a good stay. My boys especially enjoyed the banana bikes and pool. The restrooms were very nice and very clean. The only issue at our campsite was the locust tree that had a couple of limbs hanging pretty low that had large thorns on them that were dangerous. Had to cut off for safety. Enjoyed our stay all around

We had a amazing time at KOA this past weekend the staff was friendly the campground well kept the sites were great. Will be back again! I tapped a t star rating but only came up a 4 but it was a 5.

It was a short stop during my trip. I had called made reservations several hours before. Everything was ready when I arrived late night.

Nice pool and rec facilities. Very very clean bathrooms. Our site had some trees but all some did not . Check before booking if it's important to you.

We called to book ahead and we told all actvities were open to arrive to a rude staff and no amenities. If your Traveling with I recommend going else where

It was really buggy, very little shade. The pool was cloudy looking. The office had a bunch of passive aggressive signs about "If you don't like the condition of the road, contact the city" and how "it's camping, expect bugs". The owners also try and tell us that the wifi isn't for Skype or Netflix? It's fine for a stop on the side of the road, but it's hardly living up to the KoA reputati

This is a nice little campground, still rustic and has outdated equipment, and the sites are SMALL! Literally the neighbors talking woke us up both days, and they weren't talking loudly, they were just that close. This being said, we'll go back but ask for an end site. We enjoyed our stay and the owners were really sweet.

This is a quiet and clean campground nestled in a rural setting so we always enjoy our stays here. Looking forward to another one, soon!

There was a traveling nurse next to us with a dog that would not stop barking. Attendant offered to move us, but none were far enough away from the dog. She should have addressed the issue and not made it my problem. Left a day early because of the dog and was not offered a refund. Additionally the infrastructure was bad at our full hook up site. The PVC pipe for the water supply busted.

I was only there for one night however I had a very pleasant experience it was a very clean are re park and had a lot of nice amenities the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant

Loved this KOA, apparently way more than the caretaker. Upon arrival she told me about the amenities, but that the jump pad had to be shut down because of the "bureaucratic bullcrap". We mentioned how much the kids were loving bikes and were regaled with stories of what a pain to take care of they were, how expensive they are, how no one takes care of them. Maybe she was having a bad day or two

Very nice and clean... very quiet... Only 2 things I would say was a negative was the very small (wet- flooded) road to get to KOA and the wet wood which we bought for our camp fire.... It took us over 2 hours and 2 bottles of starter fluid to get the wood burning.... they need to sell dry/seasoned wood for camp fires... Other than that had a great time and wonderful weekend... Thank you!

Loved this campground! It was small but very clean and very quiet! The owner was very nice and helpful as well. We will definitely stay here again.

We were tent camping and there was lots of rain so when we arrived and saw there was no place to stay dry we asked about cancelling but were not allowed to (which is understandable). They offered to move our reservation to later in the summer free of charge though. We swam, rode bikes, and played mini golf in the rain bf moving on. It was well kept, clean, and the fun things for kids were free!

If you like a nice quiet, out of the way campground, which I do, then you’ll like this spot. Make sure you have your food bcs town is about 7 miles away. Personally enjoyed this spot and would stay there again.

The campground is very clean, the bathrooms and showers are immaculate, the campground is located a quiet area with no noise other than Mother Nature. Linda and her staff do a great job of accommodating guests and making sure everybody is happy

Putt Putt Golf area could use some cleaning up and Jump Pad area, just very weedy and not very attractive. No signs listed at Pool area saying that you could only be in the pool area for 1 hour then needing to leave the area for next group. No where did we see this but were very sternly told by the owner we needed to leave if we had been down there for longer than 1 hour. Will never stay again!

This campground is beautiful!!! We came here sight unseen. We got the site with the nicest glass table and chairs on the patio. I hardly go inside the RV because I love it so much. It's October so most things are out of season. It's a nice campground with lots of room. We are not piled on top of each other which is so great!! No complaints.... I recommend this campground 100% In October beware of tons of stink bugs. Buy a fly swatter.... it will be your best friend.

I stayed at one of the cabins. It was more than perfect. The cabin was clean and just right for one, maybe two people. I use KOA for a secret hotel room. It cost less, you get more, and you can have a fire every night. The owner here is wonderful and my only complaint about her is she is fixing to retire soon. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.
