Love running up to Springfield IL KOA for a quick weekend get-away. Always clean, great ownership. Away from the highway, train tracks, and airports. We'll be back...

We was there for just a night, but was a nice place. If we would have had more time it would have been a place I would have gone for a walk. Maybe if we should be in the area again we will stop and spend more time with you. Thanks for having us.

It was nice to get away from home and feel safe at this time. The owner drove by to see if we had settled in and everything was ok. We sat around the campfire and was able to social distance. Nice campground.

This is one of our favorite KOAs to stop for a couple nights while traveling through. It's naer the lake. Abraham Lincoln's tomb and residence is a must see. Quiet, rural. Always friendly staff.

Very nice park. Linda is awesome and did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible with all of the vivid 19 restrictions.

We spent a night early in the season. It is a bit off the main road, but nestled in a country setting. Due to CoronaVirus we didn’t interact with anyone in person, but easily found our site with the map.

There for 1 night our site was good, came to ask if we wanted firewood, very thoughtful. I'd stay there again if I'm in the area.

As a one night ‘on the move’ location, it met our objective. Many sites with new electric, which was nice. For a remote location, it was adequate.

Only one staying there but nice stop on way home from home Florida to Iowa.. restrooms closed due to virus but rv full hookup.

We've stayed at the Springfield KOA many times and have never been disappointed. We especially like that it is away from any highway or railroad noise and the route getting to the campground is pretty scenic in itself. Keep up the great work!

We purchased a new RV in Indiana and on our way back stayed at the KOA in Springfield IL. The owner could not have been nicer and more helpful, the park is very nice too!

Great host. Made us feel very welcome. When snow and runoff made the bridge hazardous, she came to our door, in tge cold and snow, to let ys know of a safer way off the property uf needed. Way above and beyond to assure we were safe during a time of very unseasonable weather.

The restrooms & cabins were very neat and clean. Linda was pleasant although the store, (granted it was near the end of the season), didn’t have very much milk as my grandson likes his moo juice. Other then this is was pretty nice. If I’m back in the area I would use this campground again.

This is our “go to” place to stay when visiting the Springfield area. Great owner and clean bathrooms. Kids we saw playing were having lots of fun. Improvements have been made to some of the electric posts, and more are in need. We were unable to plug in our 50 amp cord due to a poorly designed, rickety plywood box around the base. Many more of these type are falling apart and need replacing

The park is very peaceful - a bit off the beaten path, but a nice spot when you arrive. The sites are typical KOA - fairly close to your neighbor; but offsetting that is the beautiful trees throughout the park. Park was well maintained, however, the laundry was not up to the standards of most KOAs. The machines were old and the dryer time (45 minutes) was a little short for the $2.00/load charge.

Was an overnight stop, very peaceful, nice level site. Many activities for kids and adults... Would like to spend a week or so during the spring or fall...will make it back there again

just a quick one night stop on our way home. we did not use the bathrooms or showers. people there were friendly. nice and quiet. no road noise. nothing bad to say at all. nice place from what we saw. thanks springfield koa

For an RV, entrance to campground was troubling - narrow bridge and road. Our site had huge tree roots above ground which made it hard to find a level place to sit. People were friendly and campground was quiet.

A very aggressive young 80lb dog not on a leash almost attacked my travel partner & her dog. The owner was apologetic but if you know your dog is that aggressive, muzzle it while at a Campground

Location 5 miles or so off of I-55 in a wooded area made the campground feel like a State Park but with more amenities, we enjoyed the quiet family atmosphere. Grounds were very clean, plenty of room between campsites, there was a plumbing problem in the main restroom when we arrived but the owner addressed it immediately!

Nice campground with pretty large sites. We stayed in the farthest back and there was a large grassy area to play or walk the dogs. Linda was very nice and accommodating . We enjoyed the little putt putt. Would stay again

Campground needs some attention. It needs some cleaning up. Women’s bathroom has towels lined behind all of the toilets. Assumed there was a leak.

We stop for an overnight whenever we come through. Last time we stayed a few days and enjoyed seeing Lincoln’s tomb and residence and the nearby lake. We did saw a few other things, too. Cool road to the KOA. Away from traffic. Reasonably priced. Friendly. A favorite KOA.

This campground is beautiful!!! We came here sight unseen. We got the site with the nicest glass table and chairs on the patio. I hardly go inside the RV because I love it so much. It's October so most things are out of season. It's a nice campground with lots of room. We are not piled on top of each other which is so great!! No complaints.... I recommend this campground 100% In October beware of tons of stink bugs. Buy a fly swatter.... it will be your best friend.

I stayed at one of the cabins. It was more than perfect. The cabin was clean and just right for one, maybe two people. I use KOA for a secret hotel room. It cost less, you get more, and you can have a fire every night. The owner here is wonderful and my only complaint about her is she is fixing to retire soon. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.
