Too crowded and the facilities were dirty and broke down. Our site was a mud hole. This was the first KOA I stayed in that was bad. Some are crowded but not dirty

We enjoyed our stay . The location was excellent to things we wanted to see. The staff were informative and helpful. However our site was unlevel, and the utilities were arranged with the sewer on one end of our camper and electric and water on the other. . Also this was advertised as a Holiday KOA, but is only in the process of having patios in maybe 2 sites. Roads are dirt with gravel sites.

Small site. Half was taken up by patio that was just poured so couldn’t use and the rest was trees/weeds that were not trimmed.

Stayed in the teepee. Absolutely had a great time. Great staff and very friendly. Teepee and site was very clean.

Stayed three nights, suitable campground. TV cable didn't work and had trouble using WiFi. Thought I had a reservation for full hookup, but was assigned location without sewer hookup and departed with tanks full and dumped at next site.

A beautiful location with great staff. The mini golf is run down but everything else was getting remodeled.

The TV in our cabin never had any working channels the 3 nights we were there. And the internet didnt work. The cabin was nice and the bathrooms were clean. They were really helpful about us moving from one cabin to another since we had to book 2.

The cabin was clean and just enough room for a family of 4. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to camp.

Hi!! There’s a lot of potential at this KOA location. The laundry is awesome, the staff were friendly, etc. There a few things that would really make this place stand out. Top is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. It wouldn’t take much to take those bathrooms to a level of clean that make guests feel good. Cobwebs on walsl and vents, dirty walls, and deep cleaning around toilets and showers.

Staff was courteous. Site 10-12 are so oddly set up. Site 11 picnic table and campfire ring was directly behind my motor coach and parking pad. Site 11 resident was literally 6 fett from my coach. They graciously moved the table. Yet power hook up for site 10 was virtually on site 11 also. Made interaction with neighbor awkward and uncomfortable. WiFi access was poor.

Cabin floors where pretty dirty, needed swept and mopped. Our mattress on queen bed was bad we put the bunk mattresses on top to help. Bathrooms where really dirty and no trash in shower area so people throw everything on the floor. However staff was pretty friendly.

We arrived after hours as planned. The map was where they said, we found our site 80 easily. People assigned to 79 were in it, all set up and spread out partway into 79. Site 79 had a pull through (which was helpful as we were pulling a small cargo trailer) but no tent space (which we needed) unless on gravel or snugged to firepit. We slept in our car. Pro- very quiet for close quarters.

Campsite was very easy to find, and our spot was very convenient. Facilities were mostly clean and staff was very friendly!

We had a great stay in the deluxe camping cabin. The staff here is probably the nicest out of all the KOAs we've stayed at.

Great KOA. Clean, fun amenities, staff was very nice. Enjoyed trees (& satellite) at our site. Ferry shuttles were easy & convenient.

We had two sites in the very back. We were told it could be possible to pull through the sites but that was not the case had to back in from the end of the road. There was a wooded area in the lot the kids loved playing in and building stick teepees. The shuttle to the Mackinac Island Ferry was a great benifit. Wish we had more time to stay.

Had a great time. Even thought the staff faced a wifi and cable shut down. They remained friendly and professional. Talking with any of the staff they were very informative and gave great suggestions of places to go and things to do. The bathrooms and grounds were spotless and clean. Seems like every time you went outside a staff member was buzzing by in a cart. Highly recommended

Campground was located by many attractions right off the hwy tucked in the woods. Sites were about average for a KOA. Rear dump station wasn't worth using but front was OK. Kids had fun with gaga ball, pool, tether ball, and mini golf. Showers and bathrooms were OK, heavy use during our stay. Staff was great, very friendly.

I was told the wrong site that I was originally suppose to be in and then when I got to my site we confirmed which site was ours by an employee mowing the lawn, which ending up being incorrect information. Staff was friendly and helpful with us having some vehicle issues and borrowed a longer hose for water access. I would recommend this camp ground, clean and good location.

We have stayed at this KOA over the past number of years, and this year was the best. There was a concrete patio for our site, amazing. All of the staff were highly professional, accommodating, and friendly. We will being going there again when we are in the area.

We LOVED our stay!!! The campground was SO clean and well kept. Everyone who worked there was very accommodating. We will definitely be recommending the St.Ignus/Mackinac Holiday to others and can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Oh my gosh what a blast! Huge shout out to rockstar Lexi for being the best concierge :) If you need a day or a week it's worth the trip across the bridge to stay at the St Ignace KOA.

We had a wonderful couple of days exploring the area. Very e at the park was eager to help us with any of our needs. They have a nice free shuttle service to Catch the local ferries and to go to the casino.

Friendly staff and very responsive to all our needs. Full hookup patio sites are very nice. Non patio full hook up sites a little on the small side.

My sister and I stayed from july 18 - 22 at site DK1. we were disappointed in the size of the cabin which is listed as being for 4 people - very cramped with 2 people. but the greatest disappointment was the 'loft'. there isn't anything on your website stating that the loft would be for small children since floor to ceiling only measures around 4 feet. campground was clean, staff were excellent

went to Macanac island with bikes. Sheps shuttle was very helpful also. We enjoyed your pool and miniature golf.

The people were nice. The showers were clean and warm. The lots were very small. There were so many sites squished in there and the tiny 2 foot strip of grass for dogs was right up against the weeds and trees. I didn’t feel at ease with so many campers and their trucks/trailers so close together. The mini golf course was in need of some upkeep.

The staff in the office is rude, they are pre occupied with their own conversations and they think everyone knows what they do about thre campground. They Get short with guests that ask questions. The place was dirty. My camp site had wrappers and baby wipes all over it. The bathroom, one stall didn't have toilet paper for 2 days. The showers were disgusting, I thought they cleaned everyday,

The tent sites are an absolute joke! They are all down in a swamp! I had to literally put my Jeep in 4×4 to pull out of the tiny parking space provided. Everything was covered in mud. There wasn't even a picnic table as promised on the website. There wasn't even room for out tent. Another amenity that was promised was Wi-Fi, but it didn't work. For $35/night, this place is a Rip Off!!

Beautiful campground in a beautiful area! My kids loved the mini golf and pool, the staff was beyond wonderful, hot showers were actually hot, and they delivered bundles of wood to our site for us. The island ferries pick up right from the grounds as well. Overall I couldn’t have asked for more!

Camp site was small, neighbor could not even extend awning without hitting our unit. Sewer connection in excess of 30' from RV discharge and water access was in facing neighbors site. Pet run was water retention area. Entry drive had significant pothole making entry and exit very difficult.

Cable TV was a joke. We got more channels over the air. Internet was also a joke. Lets you connect once, after that you are done, Bath houses were not quite your typical KOA standards. Not much choice in the area, but I think I would try the Lakeshore campground the next time.We are frequent KOA campers, but this one will not win a presidents award.

Great campground overall. Restrooms and grounds, clean, staff friendly. Spaces could be a little more level, I kept stepping into low spots, was afraid I would turn an ankle. Problems with wi fi and cable however. We know they are working on upgrades.

It started put rocky because what I was told on the phone was way different then when I arrived. My site was not were the said it would be, but I wasn't about to let one person ruin the trip. The rest of the people were amazing and sweet. And made up for the rudeness I got in the beginning. The camp itself was wonderful, beautiful, and friendly.

Very nice campground close to attractions. Clean bathrooms and nice staff. Campsites vary in distances between neighbors. Ground for the most part are level. Only slight adjustments were made to setup our camp.

Good for one night. Not much offered in the way of necessity items. My main concern is the cleanliness of your bathrooms. I realize the amount of campers this time of year makes it hard to keep them clean. You need to come up with a cleaning schedule, for proper up keep during your summer months.

We stayed for an entire week. The campground was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Great place to set up a base camp to explore the eastern side of the U.P. 10/10 experience, we will be coming back.

The dump is to high for M/H the access needs to be raised! Sites from the 60's thru the 70's are not level this makes them problematic to use and difficult to use! These sites should at least be leveled. I worked at the highest rated parks in Las Vegas. Quit pouring cement and start leveling!

Nice, clean, comfortable cabin in a nice location. Friendly staff. Perhaps it would be a good idea to wait until checkout time to grind stumps less than 6 feet from a tent. Other than that a nice experience.

Really enjoyed our stay. The little cabins are nice and well kept up. My only real complaint it that they are a bit pricey.
