We stayed one night in a mini cabin so we could walk the mackinaw bridge on labor day. They were roomy enough for the night. Glad we had a picnic table. It started to rain. The picnic table fits UNDER the porch awning (one the swing is over the railing). It was a sufficient stay. Beds a bit small.

We stayed in one of the Teepees and was very disappointed. It was a windy and rainy weekend with some nice weather but we were afraid that out Teepee night fall at anytime. It leaked, the inside poles moved, it was lopsided, the ropes that were to secure the poles was on the floor, there was a bee hive just outside the door to the Teepee and the lights that were on the railing didn't work.

Very nice campgrounds. Close to everything but far enough to matter. Clean, hot showers and clean restrooms.

Everything was just fine. Pool didn’t seem to be heated. There was no mention of that detail anywhere.

The cabins could use a rug by the door. The miniature golf area could use some TLC. The bathrooms need to be updated

We enjoyed our stay at your campground and you were very accommodating when we wanted to do the bridge walk. Site 36, however, does get a lot of people walking through from tepees, etc. to use facilities. Camper etiquette would be nice, perhaps a pathway for these campers to get to facilities without cutting through others camp sites. Thanks

I was just passing through on a road trip, so I wasn't able to spend much time here. The tent area was wooded and better than most KOAs, the multiple bathroom buildings were clean, the after hours check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly. My campsite was one of the only sites without a picnic table, which was odd, and the dog park was TINY. Location was excellent and easy to find.

The tent camping sites are all VERY poor. Muddy, poor soil conditions, too much tree cover, it was too easy to get stuck while driving through wet ground: we got stuck 2x. Wood chips & thicker gravel would help a ton. We will never tent-camp here again, but we will stay in a cabin or tee-pee in future. Most of the staff was GREAT! My family LOVED the St Ignace KOA My kids really enjoyed the game room. The Putt Putt was a blast for my husband and I. Our campsite was large and very clean.

Lynette at the front desk was so helpful and got us a last minute cabin to beat the rain .. and my kids loves the playground and the mini golf as well. Would come back to stay there again if we visited mackinaw island again. Thank you so much Heidi and Dale Westrick

What a difference a year makes! We stayed here last year early Covid and since then we can tell there have been many improvements and upgrades made to the property. There are some new patio pull thru spots that look very large and comfortable. The back in spot where we stayed was large and very private. This is a lovely location and we will be back next year!

Awesome! Lynette is the best! Great location. Perfect for stargazing. Recommend a curtain on the window in the door, for privacy.

We booked our site several months out and we have a 41 foot motorhome and towing a vehicle. We was put in a spot that was just big enough to let the sides out. The tree roots was so bad when you stepped out your door you would have to hold to something to get to flat ground. The fire ring was so close to coach there was no way to use it. The table was on the roots too just had to walk easy.

The campground is very nice with trees and some space between each site. My site #17 had water over one third of the site. There was also water out the driveway going toward site 16. There were puddles as well. I brought it to the attention of an employee running around in a golf cart. Sure hope the problem gets fixed.

From check-in to check-out, my stay was wonderful! The staff in the office were very welcoming in spite of being very busy. Ordering wood was easy, and it arrived at the camping site before I even got there! The bathrooms were cleaned every couple of hours instead of once a day which was great! The campground is beautiful and a great "base camp" for activities in the area. Excellent service!

Tent pads are bowl shaped so if it rains your tent turns into a waterbed. Some sites are rocky where the tents are supposed to go. The bathroom are good and clean and they have hot water and showers. Pool is decent. They do keep the grounds clean. Overall not bad but for the price i hope it gets better. They will deliver firewood to your site for $6 a bundle.

Nice park. We got site 21 and were disappointed that our motorhome touched the many trees in that site at the top. We didn't even pull thru because of the trees, decided to back out instead for safety. Otherwise, nice park and enjoyed our two nights there. Friendly staff.

The wifi wouldn't connect till we pulled out on the third day. The pool looked nice but weather wasn't good enough to use it. There were large holes in our drive to navigate around with hookup connections spread out so far apart for our hoses. Overall, the campground was nice but I saw there were much nicer spots than ours.

We have a large 5th wheel, and you had the perfect location for us in the back wooded area. Perfect! We really liked the way you texted events notifications to us as well - haven't seen that from other KOA's

Nice, clean, comfortable cabin in a nice location. Friendly staff. Perhaps it would be a good idea to wait until checkout time to grind stumps less than 6 feet from a tent. Other than that a nice experience.

Really enjoyed our stay. The little cabins are nice and well kept up. My only real complaint it that they are a bit pricey.
