We stayed one night in a mini cabin so we could walk the mackinaw bridge on labor day. They were roomy enough for the night. Glad we had a picnic table. It started to rain. The picnic table fits UNDER the porch awning (one the swing is over the railing). It was a sufficient stay. Beds a bit small.

We stayed in one of the Teepees and was very disappointed. It was a windy and rainy weekend with some nice weather but we were afraid that out Teepee night fall at anytime. It leaked, the inside poles moved, it was lopsided, the ropes that were to secure the poles was on the floor, there was a bee hive just outside the door to the Teepee and the lights that were on the railing didn't work.

The cabins could use a rug by the door. The miniature golf area could use some TLC. The bathrooms need to be updated

Lynette at the front desk was so helpful and got us a last minute cabin to beat the rain .. and my kids loves the playground and the mini golf as well. Would come back to stay there again if we visited mackinaw island again. Thank you so much Heidi and Dale Westrick

Awesome! Lynette is the best! Great location. Perfect for stargazing. Recommend a curtain on the window in the door, for privacy.

Great campground! We stayed in TeePee#2. I do not recommend staying in the teepees. They are musty, moldy and home to spiders that are out of reach. Beds are ok. Both nights we stayed, it thunderstormed. TeePee#2 did not leak and did a good job with the wind. I would definitely stick with the cabins for our next stay. The campground itself was nice. Bathrooms were clean.

Only stayed 1 night and I was stuck inside because of a storm. The remote for the TV was really messed up making it difficult to change channels and Eben though I was next to the office, I was uptake to get more than 1 bar for WIFI making for a really long night

The camping cabin was not so great and the bed was broken and mattress were too old. Had troubled sleeping entire night and had to leave a day ahead.

It was a very nice campground, one of the nicest we’ve been to. The grounds are taken very welll care of and the staff were very friendly.

The mosquitoes were vicious, the fire wood I bought was WET. the shop closed right after we ( my son and I ) checked in. Not at all real bad. I will visit again.

We rented a cabin. Self-check in was nice. The cabin was close to the bathrooms, which was a plus. We appreciated the fan in the cabin and the microwave in the laundry room. The mattress was not very comfortable, though.

Great new deluxe cabins. A great place to stay to visit the island or passing into the UP. Will stay here again for sure! Great staff and close to restaurants and ferries.

Very nice new deluxe cabin!! Beds were made and we were supplied with all amenities. Needed a toaster tho… Great location!

Fun campground, great employees… Stayed in the new DK4. Do not unpack your clothes because there isn’t a place for them to go. No shelves, no dresser, nothing. Toilet tank and freezer leaked daily.

We had 2 night stay in a cabin. The kids loved the pool and mini golf…..,We all loved the family friendly good vibe! All though The general store could have been better stocked, we made do with the grocery store and dollar store down the street. We plan on staying again.

We rented a deluxe cabin. It was great. The staff was great. No real complaints, just surprised at how crowded the sites were to each other and tight parking.

Our cabin was very clean, comfortable and spacious inside. We did feel very cramped outside once the spot next to us was filled. We couldn't walk to our fire pit without walking over the neighbor's electrical cords and we felt like we were in their space. It would be nice to have a trash can in the bathroom. The staff was all very friendly and helpful, even helping us start our fire. We loved golf

Our stay started out bumpy - the camp office made a mistake and put someone else in our cabin. At first we were moved to a smaller cabin which was not acceptable. Greg changed us to a larger cabin that fit 3 adults and a High School student, Greg also offered and moved our belongings to the cabin we reserved the next day. After the initial mix up it was smooth sailing.

Stay was great, but had four in our party staying in a four person cabin for a 5 night stay, yet I was charged $20 for extra kids. According to front desk girl, “it’s just $2”. They prefer that families are two parents and one kid, she said. Sorry we don’t look like your typical family, so we paid extra. �����‍���

Always well staffed very clean park rest rooms and cabin I feel the pool could use some work pool area outside fence next to gate should painted yellow or orange as my.self and our 3 year old was always tripping on it as it is a little higher then the sidewalk putt putt golf looked a little ragged might need some help other then that WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY ALREADY BOOK OUR CABIN.FOR NEXT YEAR

The campground & their staff were wonderful! Everything was as promised. I had a problem was with a lack of communication when I wanted to add a day to my reservation shortly after making it with a call & email. It was Jan. so I waited a few months & I tried again with a phone message & email. Days later I received an email that it was booked. In Jan, I suspect that might have been the case.

Our deluxe cabin had a very small lot. The parking on the corner lot was awkward. And the fire pit was too close to the street and not enough room to put chairs around. I’ve been to most of the KOAs in Michigan and sorry to say this was my least favorite.

Staff was very friendly. Cabin was great but the mattress needed to be replaced. Bathrooms were clean but outdated. Appreciated the dog run area - clean and not muddy.

Staff was very friendly. Convenient location to both St. Ignace and Mackinac City. Shuttle service to ferry stops right at the KOA> Mattress in cabin was very uncomfortable, springs poking through. Ended up taking mattresses off bunk beds and placing on top of main bed. Cable was out, so TV did not work. KOA charges $1 for cup of coffee in office.

Really enjoyed our stay in a deluxe cabin, which was very clean. We were woken up just before 6 am one morning by the trash truck, other than that it was very quiet during quiet hours. Only suggestion I have is to add a curtain or blinds to the door so anyone sleeping on the bunks or couch will have privacy/less outside lighting interruption while trying to sleep.

We stayed two nights in a cabin. One suggestion is that the bathroom facilities is quite a hike from the back cabins. Perhaps, an additional bathroom facility can be utilized in the back. Otherwise, the stay was great!

Nice, clean, comfortable cabin in a nice location. Friendly staff. Perhaps it would be a good idea to wait until checkout time to grind stumps less than 6 feet from a tent. Other than that a nice experience.
