A very busy KOA. The staff was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Staff was very friendly. But condition of park needs attention. Although some "elite" spots have new cement pads, nice new table and chairs, in addition to a lovely new wooden swing, all provided by the park... majority of other camp spots are very uneven and drenched in black mud!! And the bathrooms show it! Please gravel and level out the rest of your camp sites.

I booked my site in April on a corner with nice trees and view, when we got there they put a new cabin in on the corner that was about 10 feet away from my camper. I tried to get my camper as far over as I could but was to unlevel so we ended up on a rocky site with this cabin so close we did not even sit outside. We were there for 5 days and it ended up being one of the worst sites we ever stayed

Cable was out the entire time we were there. They sold us 3 bundles of green wood that would not burn! Very clean place, nice campground!

The staff was so friendly and VERY helpful (shoutout to Mike Nation!). We had to replace a small part on our trailer (no tools) and Mike came right down to help. I love that they deliver firewood and ice to the sites. 24 hour laundry was a godsend. Kids had a BLAST! Mini golf, gagaball, tether ball and a pool! The only thing I would change is the pool being warmer, maybe the heater was broken?

I gave it one star because the staff was courteous. The first door we had 67 got error code on leveler ( excessive slope) not to mention the water is on the door side of the spot. Had to use 40’ of water hose. We were able to move to a full hookup site 14 and the water once again on the door side of the camper about 4 feet away, which site 13 used also!! Approx 70% of sites water on wrongsi

Many improvements being made to the condition of the sites, cleanliness of restrooms, etc!! Staff were constantly filling low/wet spots with gravel and evening out sites while we were there. Bathrooms were VERY clean. Glad to see these efforts!

We enjoyed the camp. Very well maintained. I can’t speak to the laundry or bathrooms as we needed need them. Owners were very courteous and helpful. Seemed the staff was always doing things to improve the grounds. We would stay again.

Awesome site, staff were pleasant and clean facilities made for a wonderful trip. I will return to the St ignace/ Mackinac island koa.

Nice level site with E/W only. Dump station required a little acrobatics due to design. Have a pool, mini golf. Place is undergoing upgrades to deluxe patios. Large laundry room and a small camp store.

Under new management. Old crew let this property deteriorate to an unacceptable low. New managers seem to be getting things in order but they have quite a task ahead of them. Wi-Fi is very weak and needs a lot more band width and new technology to be effective. New management provides good customer services.

Very disappointed. They put water hookups every other site with double heads on them, and on the site we had the power hookup was so far at the edge of the site that the only way we could position our camper put our door right in front of a big tree. We could still get in and out, but we couldn’t use our awning. We had to fully break down due to rain each night. Won’t camp here again.

We have stayed at many KOA’s around the country. Sadly this KOA needs several improvements. The bath houses were filthy. Only 2 showers were working in the back bath house. We had to wait in line for showers every night and several nights were forced to take cold showers due to no hot water. There also needs to be a trash dumpster in the back. Although we did see many sites that were level and with grass, our site, #81, was nothing but mud. I do understand that there was a lot of rain before we arrived, however most sites around us looked fine do to having plenty of grass. Another issue is that we had a very large tree stump right in the middle of our site, which prevented us from parking the trailer level. #81 needs to be addressed!

26 motor home site 141. Needed 2 hoses to connecter at site 142 . Needed electric extension to reach pedestal. SHOULD NOT be sold as motor home site with connections. �

Site 22 was AWFUL…patio had just been poured, they never came to backfill after removing the forms. Bathrooms were very dirty, the pool needs maintenance and there was constantly cold water pouring in. KOA looks run down and in need of paint. None of the employees were friendly and seemed less than happy to be there.The only bright side: They delivered wood & ice, and KOA is in a good location

Bathrooms clean. Rear shower house had very hot water for showers which we loved. Front shower house had cold showers. Most sites were shady. Picnic tables were nice. Kids playground nice. Free mini golf which kids loved. Owners nice and honest people. Employees were very nice and always willing to help or answer any questions

Campground was great. The spots have lots of tree roots but, that can't be helped. The sites are very level. The fire ring could have a grate attached to it so cooking with multiple surfaces would be handy. The only bad was cold water in the shower at the front of the campground but all the other times a hot shower was enjoyed. It was our hub to visit the UP that worked out well. I would recommend

Many sites are too small for slide outs and uneven so when it rains they have huge puddles. Mosquitoes were bad because they are located next to a swamp lagoon. The game room only has football and air hockey, no video games, and is super small. No kids activities the whole week we were there. The WIFI wouldn’t connect most of the time, which is terrible when I had no cell signal.

Site could have been more level. Bathrooms and showers were not in good condition. Paint was peeling off the walls, needs some TLC.

Staff were friendly. The check in process was smooth. Our site was easy to find and pretty level. There are LOTS of trees, which is great for shade, but bad for grass. Most sites are very muddy after a rain since there’s not much grass. The restrooms were clean and the showers were descent.

We have stayed here lots of time, enjoyed this time even more. We went allover and came back home and had a fire to cook supper. WILL be Back next year if all goes well.

We had a 1 night stay while traveling in the area. Online communication is great. Clean campground is convenient to area attractions and off the main highway. The campsites are extremely close to each other for those who enjoy more space. The newer dump station doesn't sit low enough for downhill drainage on a 25 foot camper. The older dump station area is congested and difficult to maneuver.

Set my online res. Filter 4 full hook up. Got wtr, elec, there site decieved me. Gave me backup site. Got into argument and left.. went back home 12hrs of driving. And a weeks worth of vacation blown. Thanks. Your manager wanted me gone before we started the argument. Good people skills. Lol.

Okay campground. Has pool, volleyball, and large activity area. Only 2 clothes washers available. Bathrooms were about 7/10 clean. Small store.

We always enjoy our stay but the lot we were given shouldn't be used for rv's because it's on a hill.water and electric needs to be on the same side for rv camping..

They put us in the worse site in the campground there was a lot of mud and water.This has been 0 out of 4 KOA's that I'm very sorry I went to the 4.. KOA use to be great no matter where. I have pictures of this stay. The wife and I have given up on KOA's that we use to go to FL.

It was only an overnight stay. There had been a rainstorm not too long before we got there. The site was very small and muddy. Our camper is 33 feet long and we should of been put on a larger site. The site needs gravel or even some wood chips so it would not be so muddy.

Nice, clean, comfortable cabin in a nice location. Friendly staff. Perhaps it would be a good idea to wait until checkout time to grind stumps less than 6 feet from a tent. Other than that a nice experience.

Really enjoyed our stay. The little cabins are nice and well kept up. My only real complaint it that they are a bit pricey.
