Before You Go

Buy tickets early
Advance tickets help you skip the line at the gate and get inside more quickly.

Plan your parking or camping
The fairgrounds offer on-site parking and limited overnight RV parking. These options can fill up, so make your plan early if you want to stay at the fairgrounds.

Look at the show map ahead of time
The show covers a large area, and it is helpful to look at the map, exhibitor list, and seminar schedule before you arrive. If there are specific brands or RV types you want to see, mark them so you do not waste time wandering.

What to Expect at the Show

RV displays
More than a thousand RVs are on display. You can walk through travel trailers, fifth wheels, camper vans, toy haulers, and large motorhomes. It is a great chance to compare layouts and features in person.

Vendors and accessories
You will find everything from camping chairs and generators to solar panels and RV décor. Many vendors run show-only specials.

Seminars and education
Throughout the day you can attend sessions on RV maintenance, towing, solar setups, safety, road trip planning, and more.

Food and entertainment
Food courts and concession stands are available throughout the fairgrounds. There is also entertainment around the venue, so plan time for breaks.

What to Bring

The show is big and involves a lot of walking. Pack things that will make the day easier.

  • Comfortable shoes

  • A backpack or tote bag for brochures and small purchases

  • Water and snacks

  • Sunscreen or a light jacket depending on weather

  • A notebook or your phone for notes and photos

  • A small portable fan if you are sensitive to heat

Tips for Making the Most of Your Visit

Arrive early
Getting there right when the gates open helps you beat the crowds and gives you more time to explore.

Have a plan
Start with your priorities. If you are shopping for an RV, go straight to the models you are most interested in. If you are there for accessories or seminars, focus on those first.

Do not try to see everything in one day
The show is too large to fully cover in one visit. Use the two-day ticket to your advantage if you want to see more or go back to compare RVs.

Take photos and notes
With so many RVs and vendors, it becomes hard to remember what you liked. Quick notes and photos will help you keep everything straight later.

Use the shuttle service
The fairgrounds often run trams or shuttles that help you get around more easily. It saves time and energy as the day goes on.

Should You Bring Your RV

Some people bring their RV and stay at the fairgrounds. Others use a hotel or campground nearby and drive in each day. If you prefer a quieter place to unwind, staying off-site is usually the more comfortable option.

Where to Stay Nearby

If on-site camping is full or you want a more relaxing setting, St. Petersburg/Madeira Beach KOA Holiday is a great option about 45 minutes from the Florida State Fairgrounds.

You can choose from full-hookup RV sites, Deluxe Cabins, Camping Cabins, and Tent Sites. After a long day of walking the show, it is nice to come back to a quiet spot with a heated pool, hot tubs, kayaking, and access to the Pinellas Trail. You are also close to Gulf beaches if you want to turn your SuperShow trip into a mini vacation.
