Had a great time! My husband went paddle boarding in the mangroves and we had a very relaxing stay! We will be back!

Family-friendly, easy check-in and check-out. Lots are tight and a bit challenging to navigate with a toad. You may need to disconnect, even if you have a pull-through on some lots.

This is a big retirement community. The older people were annoyed with my kids and husband playing catch and splashing in the pool. Located down an industrial road. Pluses- a nice long bike path/walking path was close to the campground. Pool area was nice and the putt putt was free. Minuses- not super family friendly, catered more towards retirees. Spots were close together and construction.

Amenities were nice as was the staff. Very friendly and helpful. Even though construction is going on the campground has a lot to offer, however the sites are rather tight to get in/out of. If my awning was twice as wide I wouldn't have been able to open it.

I like everything about my stay.my only thing is the nightly stay is a little more than I would like..I knew the price before hand if course but wanted to check out different places to go..I used the pool 2x and I liked that it was close to beach

We love this location, the only issue we’ve had on this visit was when the guide took us to our site and brought us in he didn’t watch my blind side and brought us in so the back foot and a half hit a fence and caused some damage that could have been avoided.

Everything was good. Just a few things, my kids were charged to play mini golf but while I was in the office a worker allowed a mom/son play for free, It should be free. One other thing, isn’t on you but maybe more strict with dog policy, our neighbors left their 3 dogs alone for hours and they didn’t stop barking, it’s just rude and should be a rule that they can’t be left if they can’t

Great location with easy access to beaches, restaurants, shopping, etc. Sites are really, really close together, even for a KOA. The construction isn’t a bother. Pool is small for size of park! Friendly and helpful staff.

camped in tent area - my first rule of camping is never spend time on the site except to sleep and do some work if needed. Good areas for both. Great idea of keeping tents in far end of campground away from RV units. Washrooms close enough and not too close.

We arrived April 1 and enjoyed the last Friday night dance and live band of the season. Our reservation was somewhat last minute and therefore we did not expect to get a spacious site. Even though ours was a bit tight the atmosphere was very nice and friendly. The campground is well planned out with park models, spacious back in sites at the water’s edge and a longer term section. We have stayed here for the past 8 or 9 years and it has always been a great experience. We have already booked for next year. Lori has always been a pleasure to work with. Looking forward to next year. The only negative comment I have is the campground roads are in need of repairs.

Our stay was very pleasant, we had a nice site with the trees and close to the waterways. Your staff was very friendly. We would definitely return again as this was our second trip there.

We really enjoy our time at the Madeira KOA for the most part. However, our spot on the 800 block (directly behind the chapel) was really atrocious. In addition to being filthy it is a terrible location and at $129 a night left a very sour taste in our mouths.

This was my 5th winter at the Madeira KOA. I really enjoy it there. The employees are all so wonderful and the grounds are kept really clean.

Could not have had a better experience!!!! The friendly staff and residents made us feel very welcome. Enjoyed ALL the activitys the staff planned. We have our deposit down for next December thru April. Thank you KOA!!!!!

Loved the pickle ball court. You should update the website for the deluxe cabins. We brought linen for the beds as it stated they would not be provided, but all the beds had linen.

My family and I always have a great time, the outside staff here is amazing Bre, Tommy is one of the reasons we come back . One problem I walk into the office at front desk and ask the supervisor ,do you rent pontoons she replied no but we do rent kayaks to our customers I kinda felt some type of way however I replied how do you know I'm not a customer she said I don't, maybe you should ask 1st.

It’s a BIG campground with lots of accommodations! My kids loved the place. The bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve seen yet! Pool was very spacious with lots of seating and umbrellas. Staff were kind, attentive and pleasant. My only wish would be the sites were a bit more spacious. You don’t have much real estate on the camper sites in the 600 sites.

Place was great! Near lots of stuff the beach, stores, the bay. Very clean, lots of workers keeping it cleaned up, helping out. Cabin was great. Pool and hot tub were great! Would highly recommend this KOA!

Nice park...sites for big 5th wheels are way to small to get in and out of if the park is full...we stayed in a deluxe cabin this trip...overall the cabin was OK things to consider..we had silverware but no plates .we had a Keurig coffee pot nice I might add...we had coffee pods to start with but no cups to drink out of...2 additional pods cost $3.64..overall cabin cost could be less

The campground is very well maintained and all staff members were friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers were clean and well lit. We rented kayaks and enjoyed paddling on the water. We will definitely go back for another visit.

We stayed a month but had to move in the middle of the month. The first spot was wonderful. Lots of space and on the water. The second spot was very cramped.

My wife and I stayed as "tenters" for 3 days, and it was the most enjoyable and relaxing time of our entire trip! First off the staff is top notch, so accommodating and helpful I cannot go into detail here. But First, first off - the residents are the most friendly and welcoming folks I had the pleasure of meeting! Though it was only 3 days, I feel greatly refreshed!

Always a favorite destination of ours. The resort is great and the people working there are even better. We look forward to our short winter breaks with the kids now and hopefully can turn them into longer winter breaks when we retire.

We had a great time staying at one of the deluxe cabins! The cabin was clean and comfy and had everything we needed. The park backs up to the Pinellas bike path which is beautiful and we used every night. We would come back to this park and cabins again!!

Super friendly! Pool is 86 degrees. For sure will enjoy the 5 days in the cabin. And will be coming back
