The staff was great. They had a fun calendar of activities that many campers participated in and came together as a little camp-community. We actually extended our stay an extra week for these reason. Everyone was friendly and respectful. And we appreciate that so much. Not anything to do in the town itself, but we were there to just take a break from the rest of the world..... accomplished!

Everyone was so nice , and the park is awesome. We have family in the area, so this is a great place to start our Florida winter vacation.

Great KOA that we stayed at for 8 days from 1/3/2022 to 1/11/2022. Sites are large with very friendly accommodating staff, great water pressure, and clean new laundry facilities. Will not hesitate to stay again in the future

We made a special request for a site and they were very helpful. We stop for one night on our way to Sarasota. We’ll go there again as every year.

Everyone here is very friendly, breakfast served $3.00 not on Sunday’s however… partly helping out KOA Care Kamp Can’t fail to mention, very clean here, eagle eye workers pick up every even tiniest peace of paper… Restrooms, Shower facilities kept clean…

Nice campground with shade on many sites, and reasonable site spacing. We were in a pullthru for our short stay. Great and helpful staff. Normally we avoid KOA because we don't use the amenities and costs reflect them. But this KOA was reasonably priced and well run. We will return when in the area.

I was quoted $43 when I made reservations and was charged $73 for the one night stay. Three trains went nearby and woke us up. My neighbors at out destination recommended boondocking as they started RVg at KOAs, but gave them up.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry for your inconvenience. But you purchased a $33 KOA REWARDS CARD when checking in. Your stay cost was $40.50 cent's. We can't control the trains.

We stayed overnight as we were on our way down from coastal NC to southern FL. The camp is quite large but was easy to maneuver around. Starke itself is a town searching for a purpose so don't expect much. Wife said women's bathroom could have been cleaner but my experience of the men's was perfectly acceptable. The camp store was rather barren but the host was very welcoming.

All was as expectedly….only reason I can’t give it a 5 star is poor wi fi and cable connection is also poor. Time to get your wi fi upgraded !

This is an exceptionally well run KOA. The office staff were very welcoming, they had a nicely stocked ship’s store, the bathrooms were up to date and clean. The campground layout was good with easy turns to get to our site. A gentleman escorted us there. The roads are all paved and are in good condition and most of the pads that I saw were concrete and level. We’ll stay there again.

Very clean and a well maintained campground. We stayed on our way up to Hilton Head and because this KOA was affordable and so nice we decided to come back the same way! Our 5 and 6 year olds enjoyed the playground. The staff was super friendly.

Was disappointed that the cable rv did not include espn in its offering We stopped at Kia in Levi an Ohio sweet water Tennessee and forsynth Georgia and all had espn New Year’s Eve and day all college playoff games were on espn and starke didn’t have access Very disappointing

Large RV sites which means a good distance between RV camp sites. Wonderful, very friendly staff. They go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Nice pool, clean bathrooms and game room. WiFi for AT&T service is spotty and slow. Not sure what it is like for Verizon and Sprint.

We have never stayed here before but we made a reservation for 1 night on our way home to Winter Haven,Fl and so glad we did. This is by far one of the nicest Rv parks we have stayed in. The staff is the friendliest, efficient and the most professional of any we have ever met. The park itself is very well laid out, extremely clean and roomy. The pool was beautiful, the store is well kept and the coffee and donuts were a real treat. We will definitely be back and recommend this KOA to everyone.
