Love your KOA. Only downside of this past stay was that it was spring break and young people would walk through your campsite whenever they pleased. I was in site 72 right across from the tent sites.

Site 83 level site, friendly check in and escort to site. Great seevice when we rented a fire pit. Staff delivered and picked up. Great side bonus when your site doesnt have a firepit. Worth the 5 buck rental Will be back

Stayed one night in a large pull thru site. Nice park for walking dogs including trails. Close to shopping if needed within walking distance. Helpful caring staff. Very well kept koa. Would definitely stay again. Met many friendly campers as well.

This is a clean, quiet and well-organized and managed campground. CATV worked well, good water pressure, etc. Whether one night or seven, these are the things that we find important. This was our third stay at this KOA and there will be more as we travel more. A Pleasure.

We had a great stay at the Gainesville campsite it was quiet the people they were very friendly and have everything you need to make your state comfortable

Welcome ALL! NO political or discriminatory signs or flags permitted. LOVE this policy It’s about camping, the outdoors,& meeting friendly people- not your olitical or personal beliefs. Also they recognize difference between aggressive behavior vs. aggressive breeds. Our big friendly Doberman loves people & children and just wants to play with other dogs.

Pros: Very spacious sites, friendly people, great pool area, quiet, location very close to restaurants and shopping. Cons: most the picnic tables are ridiculously small and need to be upgraded. Playground is embarrassing and old, borderline dangerous with a few items. Camp store had little to offer, no fire pits on sites, and WiFi was horrible. Has potential, hopefully they continue to update it!

Sorry for your inconvenience. A New Playground is on back order Hopefully soon. We do have fire pits available. And Picnic tables on the way. It's just hard getting things with the way it is with the Covid-19 the last couple of years.

We registered on-line for our stay and when we arrived we had been assigned a site that was not large enough for us and very difficult to get to with our rig. They were able to move our reservation to another site that worked great for us!

We enjoy staying at the Starke KOA. They offer FHU pull throughs. We travel in a 41’ fifth wheel. The site isn’t long enough to stay hooked up but you can park sideways in front of your rig. We don’t like the high cement patios because they interfere with the RV steps (we had to remove the legs completely in order to close our door). The site was not wide enough to move over to avoid the pa

Roads were in poor shape, lots of bumps. Sites were unkept. Hook ups were old and rusty. WI-FI was very slow. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Pool was nice but small, no hot tub. Place needs a makeover.

We reserved our site last minute as a quick weekend get-a-way. We were told that there was only one site left, so we weren't expecting much. Boy were we pleasantly surprised!! The site that we were offered was fantastic. The back in sites are on their pond and as far as we are concerned are the best sites in the campground. The staff was great especially miss Happy. We will definitely return.

We enjoyed a wonderful two weeks here in Starke Florida. The KOA was kept very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Activities excluded water aerobics, bingo, wine &cheese and one festive dinner. The dog walk at the back of the campground was a nice added feature. Restaurants in the area were nice. Especially the Thai restaurant and the Call Cafe.

We have never stayed here before but we made a reservation for 1 night on our way home to Winter Haven,Fl and so glad we did. This is by far one of the nicest Rv parks we have stayed in. The staff is the friendliest, efficient and the most professional of any we have ever met. The park itself is very well laid out, extremely clean and roomy. The pool was beautiful, the store is well kept and the coffee and donuts were a real treat. We will definitely be back and recommend this KOA to everyone.
