Easter-Themed Weekend • Father's Day • School's Out Celebration!  June 19-21st
Kick off summer in a big way at Sussex KOA with a triple-the-fun weekend celebrating Easter-themed activities, Father's Day, and the very first weekend of school being out! Get ready for colorful egg hunts, hands-on crafts, and family-friendly games that bring the Easter spirit to life. Plus, it's Dad's time to shine—with special activities and plenty of opportunities to unwind, connect, and make memories together. With school officially out, the kids can dive into summer fun, explore the campground, and enjoy a weekend packed with excitement. We've got so much planned that we can barely fit it all in! Friday June 26 -  Canada Day before weekend….Summer is officially here. Canada Day is on the next Wednesday and we're kicking things off with a Pre–Canada Day Celebration packed with fun for all ages! Start the day with exciting tractor rides, then cool off in the pool before heading to the Recreation Center, where the energy will be high with Junk Food Bingo, Cash Bingo, and tons of kid-friendly games. Bring your competitive spirit for our lively Washer Toss Tournament, and enjoy a weekend full of laughter, activity, and summertime vibes. Carnival Theme Family Weekend.  July 3-5th
Get ready for an unforgettable Carnival Family Weekend at Sussex KOA! This Saturday, we're kicking things off in true carnival style with our Bubble Bonanza Tractor Ride—a fun-filled loop around the campground that's guaranteed to put everyone in the festive spirit. But the excitement doesn't stop there! Enjoy a full day of carnival treats and activities, including snow cones, cotton candy, and a variety of creative craft stations for all ages. We've also got games, surprises, and plenty of laughter planned to keep the whole family entertained from morning to night. While you're here, make the most of our amazing amenities! Spend the day exploring three playgrounds, cooling off in our three sparkling pools, bouncing sky-high on our giant jumping pillow, or challenging friends and family on the basketball court. If you're in the mood for an adventure, enjoy a scenic 3-kilometer walk or bike ride along the beautiful Kennebecasis River. Halloween Weekend August 7th-9th
Get ready for a spook-tacular Halloween Weekend at Sussex KOA! Campers are encouraged to come in costume and bring plenty of treats to share as we celebrate with candy, fun, and spooky surprises throughout the campground. Kick off the evening with trick-or-treating at 6 PM, then let the kids burn off all that extra sugar with a swim in the pool or bouncing on our giant jumping pillow before bedtime. As night falls, head over to the Rec Center for an unforgettable evening of karaoke with Michelle & Kenny from Lawrence Entertainment—sing your heart out, show off your Halloween spirit, and enjoy a night full of music, laughs, and festive fun! Please note: The Flea Market is located in the Town of Sussex, NOT at Sussex KOA. Aug 14th -16th The Sussex Flea Market, organized annually by the NBAAC, takes place on the weekend of the third Saturday of August at Princess Louise Park, 10 Leonard St., Sussex, NB E4E 2N7. Originally started as an antique automotive flea market and car corral, it has since grown into a 3-day provincial extravaganza featuring hundreds of vendors offering a wide range of items. Currently, the market has 860 vendor sites, which typically fill up quickly! Sussex KOA is conveniently located just 2 km (a 5-minute drive) from the Flea Market field—or a 30-minute walk to the vendor areas. This long-standing Sussex event is a thrifter's paradise! But if camping is more your style, Sussex KOA has plenty of activities planned for the weekend. Hang back with the kids while others go treasure hunting, and you'll still be the star of the weekend, enjoying fun, relaxation, and all the campground has to offer!

Atlantic Balloon Fiesta
Location - Princess Louise Park
Sussex, NB E4G 2V5Make Sussex KOA your base camp for one of Southern New Brunswick's most iconic events—the Atlantic Balloon Fiesta! Feel the excitement as hot air balloonists from around the world take to the skies, with some balloons even landing right here at our campground or at our sister site, the Sussex Drive-In. From Wednesday to Sunday, the magic happens twice a day: breathtaking early-morning launches around 7 AM and enchanting evening flights at 6 PM. And with the festival launch field only 2 km away, you couldn't be closer to the action! There's plenty to enjoy at the festival grounds, but the fun doesn't stop there—Sussex KOA offers tons of daytime activities to keep the whole family entertained between launches. Your unforgettable Balloon Fiesta weekend starts right here!
