Great place to stay. Would be nice if they had more pull through sites.

Entrance way was not only unacceptable but very dangerous,bike rentals,washrooms,office ,store ,registration etc all in entrance way which was congested and very tight to manover in without congestion! Also under the impression we had a three way at our site but no sewer and one dump station for whole campground. Glad we only booked 2nights

Very disappointed. The lots were smaller in comparison to other Koa's I have visited. Very little merchandise in the store for which you couldn't use debit unless it was over $10. The fee for the gate pass had to be paid in cash also so we had to leave to get cash. The campgrounds were not as clean as other Koa's however the washrooms were very clean.

I booked my site purposely close to the playground. When arrived was told a different site. Told the girl the site# I booked. Was told someone was already there for 2 wks so they moved me. Site was full of dirt/no grass. Not the ideal site for a toddler to play! No one cared when complained. Pool was murky/Air pillow had hole. Seasonals were rowdy and rude. Some staff was nice/helpful; some not.

Wonderful campground and service. Cabins a clean and tidy. Beds are hard but understandable. Would warn anyone with back problems of the firmness of the beds. Overall great experience and will return.

Very friendly & helpful people working there. Cabin, grounds, washrooms & shower rooms very clean. 1 flaw is that the cabins should have a small table & at least 2 chairs to sit on. Will be back next year.

We were put on a spot close the the highway, if they had warned us, we would have not gone there. The people there were friendly enough but really didn't pay much attention to us. They have a midnight quiet and midnight kids back on site, way to late in my opinion. The focus is on seasonal only. We decided to leave 2 days early knowing there would be no refund. Friendly staff, spacious site. and close to town. was there for family reunion & did not get a chance to use the pool or go to the drive in. My only concern is who makes the decision on open fire during a fire ban that was on during my visit. Province wide ban on open fires & after a brief rain the ban was lifted for the night even thought it was still really dry. Campfires were allowed on 1 night

Campground was very clean and had lots of amenities for children. We found the midnight quiet time very difficult and frustrating. There was a large gathering of campers at a nearby campfire who played loud music and a disco-type ball until 12:15 am. Loud conversations continued afterward. It was hard for our children to go to sleep at their bedtimes, then difficult for us later. Yawn.

We were quite satisfied with our stay but were disappointed in 2 things: -the lot we were on looked like they had a seasonal deck before so the grass didn't grow so we had to go out and buy some tarps($25) to put under our mat to keep the mud & dirt from coming through and tracking in our trailer. -the internet was not great but I realize there are limitations so we were able to live with it.

Site uneven. Charged extra to get in early. Took 1.5 hours with assistance to get in spot, unsuccessful, refused to give us different spot, luckily someone cancelled, got spot, no early $10 fee refunded. Could have at least refunded that or given a cool drink while ting to get in without charge. Would have been nice without that trouble.

Nice campground. Clean, etc. Friendly staff. Was forced to stay 3 nights as there was a flea market in town. Tied hands & had no choice but to book 3 nights. Staff member showed me where to back into lot (like everyone else does) I ended up damaging my stabiliy jack & had to replace it ($76.00). Staff members were made aware and appolgized.....did not offer anything. I was disappointed.

Extremely patience staff, helped us out readily with all our issues promptly. Definitely planning on going back in the future.

I like Sussex. My suggestions would be hooks on back of bathroom doors by the 300 sites and the just put washroom instead of male/female since they are single bathrooms anyways you end up using both. Also add chair or bench in shower area so you can sit to get dressed and maybe some additional hooks.

Wanted to stay 1 night at campground. Because of the flea market, had to book 3 nights. Contacted them directly to see if there was anything that could be done and was told no, that is the policy. There were plenty of lots available. I feel that is gouging people. 145$ for 3 nights when you only need one. Exceptions should be made when campground is not even full.

This is very much a resort like campground. We did not know this and were very surprised. We did not like the spaces which did not have any privacy at all. It would be helpful if this was provided on the website so it was not a surprise. For a long stay with friends, this campground is nice. For a short stay with 2 adults, it was not ideal.

Staff ruined visit.My sons were told to take down their small dome tent.1 tent or trailer per site (never a problem at other KOA's or campgrounds), it's a rule and they live to enforce rules. "KOA Police" patrolled the campground every 20 minutes or so staring at every site to see if rules are being broken.Great place to stay if you love being under someones thumb and being watched the whole time.

It was very welcoming, your staff was friendly. on the down side, there was no sign on the road telling us where the KOA was. We couldn't find it on our GPS, we asked a farmer where you were located, and he knew, insisting to drive us to your KOA. (he went out of his way for us and your KOA). Please get a (camping sign), for the future.

We only stayed 1 night. Overall it seemed like a good campground. There were many seasonal campers. Staff were very nice and helpful with any questions or concerns. The campground has a lot of sites and it has it's own drive-in movie!

The girl who checked me in was very nice but there were about 6 other young girls (employees) who were just hanging around the office talking VERY loudly. I found myself almost yelling my license plate number, even the employee helping me kind of laughed and said "they're a little loud" but she never asked them to lower their voices. As a camper checking in it was very annoying.

It was ok. Not up to KOA standards. Kids needed a key for the jumping pillow. The area where our site was located was really just an open field close to the highway. We were thankful that this was just a stopover booking.

Nothing really to say. We had stayed here as a half way point between Nova Scotia and our home Ottawa. We weren't at the camp ground really except to sleep. Had a good time overall. Friendly staff. Keep it up.

First of all....they told us we HAD to book the 3 night weekend because it was a long weekend. THEN....when we had troible with our car and wanted to cancel Friday....we were not allowed. ALSO....when we got there they had rented our lot to someone else. She had been there for 5 nights with 4 kids in a tent trailer....they wanted to move her (for a few days). very disappointing stay. Paying for visitors, erroneous charges for everything and demanding cash only. Too many seasonal lots taking up the area. Mould found on the playground equipment. Other KOAs blow this place out of the water.

Bounce pillow was broke most of the time and the big pool was gross don't think it was cleaned all summer the wifi service sucked none at site and very low signal at hot spots could not down load a show on Netflix

We loved camping here.but we didn't like the fact that we really couldn't sit on our friends deck, who are seasonal here.we were told at midnight that it was quite time.and so we were quiet and it wasn't even 3 minutes later one of the staff members came and told us if we didn't be quiet he would be back with an eviction letter. He went down 2.trailors and waited there to spy and listen to us.

Michelle was amazing-she found us a decent site for our trailer & was always pleasant & helpful. Main bath/showers very clean. However when first booked mngr put us in too small site for trailer size - meant for a tent! Michelle fixed. No WiFi though advertised as avail. Pool very dirty. Staff member unhooked elect with no warning & plugged into outlet with no power. Lucky we were not away 4 day.

Great people here. Helpful and friendly. Nice grounds,clean, organised. Nice store. Nice pools, but bring your chair. There are none provided. Odd, tried to call for a site on my way back thru Sussex.....no answer, no return call. Tried for 3 hours! Otherwise, great place.

What an amazing campground!!! Stayed with my family for one week an we had a blast. Campground and Bathrooms were impeccable!!! The owner, Don, even swung by one night asking if everything was fine!!! How is that for service!

tranquile, pour adulte et une tente c'était trers bien. Cinéparc juste a coté du camping. employés sympatiques petit hick et je les ai avisé : la poubelle de la salle de bain ne fut pas changer pour deux jour, donc je questionne le nettoyage de la salle de bain meme si elle paraissait propre. bien positionner proche de la high way, ce n'était pas si bruyant
