I was on site 40 which backed to the tenting sites and there is no fence or barricade between the 2 sites so I had tenters walking through my site non-stop the entire weekend. A fence would solve the problem.

the stay was great, however we didn't realize all the non-seasonal sites were just in a field. We would have preferred to be in the trees a bit. Overall it's a great spot, very clean, great staff.

Attendants were very rude upon arrival, other patrons were allowed to have massive gatherings of people with extremely loud music, to the point we could not hear each other speaking on our site ( with 3 small children). The amenities for children are scarce and not well maintained. This was our first camping trip of the summer and it was awful, we will not be returning.

Thank you for your comment. Gatherings are not permitted at that time unless the families were from the same bubble, the playground and such were closed due to Covid-19 public health rules. There was nothing we could do about it. At the time of your stay in early June, the rules were very limited to what we could offer for public use.

We had an issue with water pressure from the tap. Was too low for our rig.

Hello . Let me start by saying the campground and bathrooms where very clean . The only issue is we only needed a 20 amp / water . When we looked at what we where charged it totaled $135 for 2 nights, Sunday and a Monday night. The campground was very quiet as it is not very warm as of yet. We more then likely will not pay that for future trips . Thank you

Nice good sized lots for overnighters or weekenders. Campground is mostly seasonals. Lots of kids around. Good place for families.

Disappointed the washrooms were constantly out of paper towels and toilet paper was sitting on the floor. In a pandemic this is totally unacceptable. People were leaving dirty diapers at their campsite on the ground. More garbage cans should be distributed through the campsite. Pull through sites were available but we had to squiggle into a back in with a fence in the way. Doubtful we’ll be back

Are stay was amazing as always staff was very accommodating. When the staff found out that the lights in the wash room near us was not working the staff apologized and offered to bring us extra wood. after explaining that we did not mind the lights as we are used to camping with out wash rooms staff still insisted. and as all way the drive in was amazing.

Great staff ! Friendly, informative young ladies at office, and the maintenance managers very friendly . Nice, clean washrooms. Easy to locate off highway, and very close to town. Plus a drive-in movie theater RIGHT THERE ! Bill & Liz

During hurricane Dorian..heavy rain..our site was soft mud..very messy..dead end lane and no room to back in or get out..on a side hill..not Good! This is more of a seasonal place now!

We did NOT stay at Sussex KOA for Balloon Fiesta 2019. I understand the cancellation policy on this busy weekend BUT we where coming from Halifax area where the entire province of Nova Scotia was bracing for Hurricane Dorian to hit. Due to these extreme weather conditions I feel it’s appropriate to at the very least issue a partial refund.

I hate to give bad reviews but this place was party central. Most campers here were full time seasonal - which I understand the economics. There were three different very loud parties going on within sight of our campsite. I'm talking outdoor speakers, patio lights, and lots of adults. When I looked at the quiet time, it was MIDNIGHT TO 8. This was not a quiet place to spend the night.

Very pleasant. Just be aware that although the pull-through sites are very large, you will be forced to locate very close to one end (front of site) as that is where the water/sewer/electrical are located. Also beware that most of those sites are right next to the jumping pad, playgroung, and bathrooms. Not very private or quiet.

I believe I was overcharged and when I asked the attendant he just avoided the answer. When I was on line the rate was lower and that’s what I told him. They charged me like $73.00 less 10% discount but I told him the on line rate was like $57.00 not happy about that.

Hello, based on the lot that you occupied there is no $57 rate. It is $64.10 + tax. If you are a VKR member than you receive 10% off this price.

Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean and the grounds were nice. We stayed twice during our trip because of the convenience.

Nice Campground , people were great, Tent sites are small, had to upgrade to a tent trailer site, too close to the interstate, noisy, plus train tracks, at least the train came through everyday around 7pm so that wasn't to bad, don't forget anything not a lot of supplies and stuff at the store on site. crazy rules for the jumping pillow?Bathrooms and showers need a upgrade, overall not to bad.....

What an amazing campground!!! Stayed with my family for one week an we had a blast. Campground and Bathrooms were impeccable!!! The owner, Don, even swung by one night asking if everything was fine!!! How is that for service!

tranquile, pour adulte et une tente c'était trers bien. Cinéparc juste a coté du camping. employés sympatiques petit hick et je les ai avisé : la poubelle de la salle de bain ne fut pas changer pour deux jour, donc je questionne le nettoyage de la salle de bain meme si elle paraissait propre. bien positionner proche de la high way, ce n'était pas si bruyant
