Staff was very friendly, they do not communicate with one another. The facility should not be called a campground since the majority of the sites are occupied by full time, older shabby campers & units. They advise 50 amp sites, but there are none available because the permanent units occupy all of them. Very rutted & unlevel grass sites are the norm. No cable. Not worth the exorbitant prices

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Like most campgrounds in Atlantic Canada, 50% are comprised of "Seasonals" and the remainder "Weekender" Traffic. There is not enough business to support a "Weekender" only Campground in this region unlike many places that you are accustomed to in the US.

Advertised as KOA/Drive un but didn't find out you’re required to drive into the drive-in to watch. Did not have shade for parents to sit at pool/playground. No lounge chairs at pool. Parents have to sign out key for jumping pillow and all of the kids flock to it when you do. You have to ask them all to leave when you leave/lock up. Didn’t have activities like most KOAs. Not likely to return.

Sorry for your misunderstand but a "Drive In" implies that you must "Drive In" with your car/truck. We have many scheduled activities during the weekend for our campers, during the week the traffic is lighter and less participation in these types of activities.

We were so disappointed with the staff and their insistence on carrying out the ridiculous rules of a 2:00 check in when it was quite obvious the space was vacant. After traveling 250 miles all we wanted to do was set up camp an hour early. We would have been willing to pay an early check-in fee. They made our guests move their car when there wasn't another car in sight. NO PEOPLE SKILLS! �

Hi, we have two hours to groom sites from check out to check in which means cleaning fire pits, maintenance, mowing, garbage, etc. Like hotels, sometimes we can permit early check-in and sometimes we can not. Please book your stay keeping in mind timelines.

At first reading the reviews online, a little uncertain that we should book a night, however after meeting one of your seasonal on the highway coming into Sussex, very glad we took his advice, I would stay here again.

Couldn’t get internet at our sight supposed to be working on it still. Park in the middle of nowhere hours to go anywhere. Drive in movie on site but still cost $25:00 a couple unless you camp the first road then it’s $200.00 a season not fair to others no discounts. Fire ban in effect but seasonals still had fires with no penalties brought to there attention they said oh well

Our site is 29 minutes from Fundy National Park and an hour to the Fundy Trail, two of the major attractions in the area. We just upgraded to Fiber Wi-Fi and added 7 high powered AP's in the last week to improve the coverage from the DSL available last year. $25 at the movies gives you two for the price of one and the people in the front row pay a premium royalty to watch, its not free!

Our space at Sussex was adequate for our 5th wheel. However, when we left some maneuvering was involved in avoiding an evergreen tree which had been planted near the roadway and on a corner. Campground was clean and quiet in the evening. The promised wifi was non-existent. Even the office space did not allow success for getting online. The suggested gazebo space needed cleanup.

Stayed for a one night stopover. Just long enough to realize that this is a beautiful park with lots to offer... even a drive in movie theatre on site!

Asked for pull thru told none were available, booked up. Assigned # 53 which was sufficiently rutted that the entire space was not usable as a backin. Moved to # 57 which seasonal campers used all night til midnight as a cut thru. The drive in movie was packed,neighbors had the radio version of the movies turned up full. No on ever showed up for two pull thru spaces across from us!! Bummer night

We are adding more pull thru's next year, being that this is our first season as owner's. Even though the site may have looked open, often people cancel their reservations last minute and forfeit their deposit. We don't generally know this till the last minute. We also operate the drive thru which is a large attraction for the park, so sorry that you did not want to participate with the movies!

Great place, Hannah at desk was exceptional in helping me with moving from one site to another. Everyone was Very friendly ! Lots of seasonal guests in this KOA , and all were very welcoming to a 3 day stayer,

We were located behind the main office. Unfortunately, people would cut through beside our RV as a shortcut. The garbage was across from our spot so the area was active. Spots are very close together. Not an ideal spot. Laundry room was too small for the park. Only 3 washers and most of the time they were taken up by one person. I used the laundromat in town and was able to get laundry done

Hello, sorry to hear that you had to go into town for laundry. Unfortunately it is difficult for us to police who uses the devices and if at all the same time. Our spots are large enough to house RV's up to 35' with the awning open and firepits/furniture.

Don and his staff were very friendly and I enjoyed meeting them. it will be nice when he gets a chance to expand his facility and when he does I would like to stay there on my next time in New Brunswick.

The restrooms near our site were broken so we had to walk a distance. This was the only thing I can complain about. this is a nice place to camp.

Thanks for the review! The bathrooms were closed to freshen the paint but was open in time for the long holiday weekend! It's never convenient to shut down for repairs but totally necessary if we are to maintain the standards that so many look forward to when staying with our brand!

upon arrival I paid for the full 11 nights and then proceeded to my site. The site was totally unusable and should not have been assigned to me it was only suitable for an annual unit. I could not level, could not drain my sewer. We decided that we could not stay any longer than 5 nights and without a refund we decided to just chalk this up to a grossly bad decision and forfeit our last 6 nights.

Site was on a slope so difficult to level the trailer. Had to readjust the following day. Asked for a new picnic table and it was delivered within the hour. thank you.

The grass wasn’t cut. You feel as if you are camping in a parking lot. You are in full sun. The showers are too far and there should be more. Not a very nice experience.

What an amazing campground!!! Stayed with my family for one week an we had a blast. Campground and Bathrooms were impeccable!!! The owner, Don, even swung by one night asking if everything was fine!!! How is that for service!

tranquile, pour adulte et une tente c'était trers bien. Cinéparc juste a coté du camping. employés sympatiques petit hick et je les ai avisé : la poubelle de la salle de bain ne fut pas changer pour deux jour, donc je questionne le nettoyage de la salle de bain meme si elle paraissait propre. bien positionner proche de la high way, ce n'était pas si bruyant
