Pets are always welcome at Temecula KOA at Vail Lake Resort and are a great part of the camping experience. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests (pets included!) please observe the following:
  1. All pets must be on a leash at all times while in the park and at your site. Pets are welcome to be off leash in Kamp K9 but must be on a leash to and from. The leash should be no longer than 6' and be held by an individual capable of restraining the animal should it show aggression.
  2. Aggressive Animals will not be tolerated: Any pet or domestic animal exhibiting aggression towards other animals or people is subject to immediate removal from the property.
  3. OWNER RESPONSIBILITY: The actions of your pet is your sole responsibility. Should an incident take place, please be prepared to show current vaccinations and necessary documentation on request.
  4. CLEAN-UP: Your pet is your responsibility, therefore please clean up after your pet to ensure the health and enjoyment of the area by other guests.
  5. Excessive Barking: Please ensure that your dog is not left unattended outside while you are at the park. Dogs that bark excessively will be asked to leave.

EV Charging Sations

We are excited to announce that we have 2 NEW EV Chargers at the campground!Keeping the outdoors clean is a priority for KOA and we are excited to be part of this future-forward vision. As such, we are adding EV charging infrastructure at many of our locations throughout North America to support our guests' ever-changing needs.Currently, however, a small portion of our campgrounds are set up with EV charging capabilities. It is essential to understand that EVs require constant electricity flow to charge their batteries, and the majority of our campgrounds' electrical pedestals do not have this capability. Our current electrical pedestals were originally designed for non-continuous loads typical of today's RV usage, and therefore simply cannot support EV charging. Plugging your EV into a traditional 50-30 amp campground pedestal could permanently damage your vehicle as well as the campground's electrical system. If a charging converter was provided by your auto manufacturer, it does not change the way electricity flows within the campground's electrical infrastructure and should not be used to connect your EV to our campground pedestals.
