Overall, a great stay!! My parents parked their RV in spot 200 that had an old power pedestal with the plug facing down. I had to use zip ties to hold the 30amp cord up into the pedestal since it kept falling out. Other than that, a great stay! I know the park is under going restoration over time, but we would love to see: concrete RV pads, wheel stop on all spots in Rincon and new pedestals

I have been camping here for 50 plus years and I love it as much now as I did when I was a child. I met Alex who was putting rock and brick looking fire pits and fixing them with his own cement and time. They look beautiful I wish management would hire him to do them all he is doing it for free and they are beautiful he was in space 125 during our stay. At least let him stay for free.

1st, you're a big campground- either the signage to the various sections needs to be bigger/ better or with all the carts you have on site have an escort to the site. Our first time in was highly frustrating especially with a 40ft motorhome. We have stayed at smaller campgrounds with single sections and we were escorted, Oherwise it was a very pleasant stay. The Mai Tai cart was a surprise.

This was our first family camping trip and it was great! I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the campground was. Every bathroom I walked into was clean and well stocked. Tons of dogs on the campground, but not a pile of poop to be seen. I have 3 young boys- 5, 3, and 2. They enjoyed the mini golf, swimming (one pool 3ft max depth), and golf cart rental. Every staff member was helpful and great

There are lots of activities for the kids. It was a clean campground with nice big spots. Perfect place for mountain biking too. It was a nice getaway.

An amazing weekend get away with the family. Such a fun campground to stay in; so lively and so many activities for all ages. The Cafe staff are absolutely amazing. So, so over the top friendly.

We loved our site #411, we had extra space we were facing a beautiful meadow with trees and it wasn’t crowded at all. Highly recommend

One of the nicest RV camps we have been to. We are From the Long Beach area. Vail Lake KOA is a close, great 3-5 day stay. We will be back!! Love all the biking areas.

We came to celebrate my birthday (group of 4 RV's) and we all had an absolutely fabulous time! We did play mini-golf and the course needs some work!

Loved listening and seeing the coyotes. We tend to be more RVers than campers. This is definitely a camp ground. We did not realize this campground was 11 miles out from Temecula so a lot more driving to our interests.

Birthday celebration weekend with family and friends. So much to do at Vail. Our favorite campground! Great campsites. Plenty of space. Awesome store! Friendly staff. Birds galore. Didn’t want to leave.

Defenitely in need of some road improvements but I understand it is a camp site. Probably our fourth or fifth time camping there. Very attentive staff!

Was a great place. The views from Chardonnay top were very nice- especially the sunset!!! Was easy to hook up. Our site 76 electric was a little old and I had to ziptie the electrical in for the evening- hence the 4 star and not 5. Plenty for all to do and no reason to get bored. Bring your bikes- miles of good trails.

We were directed by the guard at the gate to check in at the store. You could use a few signs saying "check in here" and some signed "registration parking" areas to make the experience easier.

It was our first visit to Vail Lake KOA and were very impressed. I gave it 4 stars only because some of a campground experience is who else is camping with you, as sites are fairly close. Our neighbors were screaming and yelling all night and kept us from getting any sleep. They had no tag in the RV or car, so it was hard to know if they were long term.

The views are lovely. The grounds were well maintained. The upper level pump track could use some leveling/grading because there are a lot of rocks & rain ruts. Kids still enjoyed it, though! The bathrooms/showers were clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nites there!

We had a wonderful time, we road bikes, on many of the bike trails and pump tracks, went on hikes, played mini golf, smores by the campfire and enjoyed ourselves tremendously.

Wonderful stay. Such an atttentive team working the grounds. The WiFi never worked in arroyo seco so that is why it’s only 4 stars.

The Atmosphere all the people that work there were so friendly having the firewood delivered to the campsite was so great the bloody Mary’s are the best in town margaritas not so great the spicy vodka isn’t as good as the crushed jalapeños but overall I love that place I’ll definitely be back again

Stayed at the Oaks for the second time and we were very happy with it. I would say for our family, the Oaks is probably the best spot at the campground even though thats the only areas we have stayed since camping there. We were in 116 and was very busy with all the traffic coming and going, if anything we would probably prefer to stay on the other side. Staff were great and we had an awesome time

Really enjoyed our stay! The improvements around the park are evident since being aquired by KOA. Some potential areas to still address.... 1) Restore electrical and improve phone/wi-fi in the Arroya area. 2) Add a jacuzzi to the pool area. 3) Add additional pickle ball courts (one is not enough). Keep up the great work!

Where do I start...this is a Mountain Bike KOA, the place is huge, multiple levels, versatile views, clean, really fun stay Luv their store, they have a restaurant and another building with a full bar, as u can see from my pics they also have outdoor dining, weekends they feature live music on stage for free Miniature Golf, Bouce Ball, Volleyball, Arts and Crafts, train for kids to ride, 3 swimming pools one of which is for smaller children, think its only 1 1/2' deep, lap pool and party pool, I'm sure they have more than what I've listed They r currently finishing up their newest area of tiny houses for renting, they are 2 story and include front deck and patio with fireplace, the area sits on top of a ravine Again on weekends they have golf carts driving around selling cocktails right at ur door Bathrooms and laundry r large and clean, staff is very accommodating Holidays here r over the moon and booked years in advance, think of amazing decorations and additional activities Spaces r all sizes and manicured, we truly feel this is one of those places where u have no worries and don't have to spend time taking care of things, just call them and ask for help...this place is really about making sure u can relax, stop and smell the flowers vibe I've seen incredible parties here and big time family enjoyment, views everywhere, people r just happy all around u...ur close to town, casino and wineries If we could I think we would live here full-time It's definitely a place u want to visit...we can't wait to go back
