This was our 1st stay at Vail Lake KOA and we were not disappointed. The grounds were clean, lots of things to do onsite and in the surrounding areas. We will be back.

We had a great time my one complaint is I called the office and no one answered several times I think that is irresponsible what happened if there was an emergency wAs not happy

Great service and staff. The music is a bit loud at night and lots of people were drinking the carts drunk when we stayed there.

It was great. Staff was awesome and friendly. One problem for this KOA is the bike races. I came in on the day of an event and my space was occupied. I politely waited for 4 hours. The race ended and the guy in my space said that the office told him that he could stay till 5 pm. This was not true. But it’s a problem for the KOA. If you don’t manage this it’s going to be a problem.

The drink cart didn't stop by our area on 3/26. Not sure what the schedule is of the drink cart; but you should communicate that and increase the frequency. You need to invest in your property and improve the roads. There are large pot holes in the access roads throughout the property. You also need to try to level the sites. For what you are charging you need to maintain the property.

Great stay- kids enjoyed the ice cream and mini golf. it was a super busy with mtb racing so it was a little noisier than I like at night. It would be nice if the quiet hours were enforced. Also, my wife asked me to inform koa that the stall doors in the second arroyo bathroom don’t lock - other than that, thank you for hosting youth cycling! We look forward to coming back soon.

Great time you had cancelations so my wife called saterday the 25th and got a spot last minute trip only thing was when we checked in at 5pm you only had 2employes working at the store and it was crowded 10plus people in line on busy weekend great music and food very great service all around we will be back for many family trips and memmories

Amazing grounds. I like the separation of types of camping (tent, trailer, family) band love the communal center with Cafe, Bar, Entertainment … like an Adult campground … but I really loved not feeling price gauged for the amenities that were available for all (reasonable food and drink prices). I will definitely be open to visiting this and other KOA’s in my future. Thank you

We love Vail Lake this was our third time and we’re coming again in April it would be nice if you could drive to the lake and it would be nice if you could see the available campsites when making reservations

Site (152) was NOT level, but most are not in the "The Oaks". I know and appreciate all the improvements that this owner has made in the last few years. But sometime in the near future he is going to have to address this issue. He already has a grader on site, so leveling dirt sites could be done. We do like this campground and have been there a number of times and will be back soon.

I wish that with the campground being so empty, neighbors could have been spaced out at least one or two spaces instead of right next door. There was so many empty spaces. Other than that we loved our stay!

All was good..only issue I had was a camper down the ways had his.black German shepherd loose...no leash and kept wondering and making other dogs back....and dog posed and owner saw and didn't pick it up...

Great campsite. Clean, most of the staff extremely friendly. Ladies in the cafe were not so kind… nevertheless, would recommend this site to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay! The grounds were well taken care of and very pretty. Our kids played from sun up to sun down. There was plenty to keep everyone busy. We’ll definitely be back!

Overall the park is fairly nice. Lack of reliable internet, particularly considering no cable TV or antenna TV, is definitely a downer, however.

This was our first time at Vail Lake and it was fantastic. The only thing missing was a playground for toddlers, The basketball court, pickle ball court, KOA store / restaurant, and pool were all very convenient. We will be definitely be back.

Where do I start...this is a Mountain Bike KOA, the place is huge, multiple levels, versatile views, clean, really fun stay Luv their store, they have a restaurant and another building with a full bar, as u can see from my pics they also have outdoor dining, weekends they feature live music on stage for free Miniature Golf, Bouce Ball, Volleyball, Arts and Crafts, train for kids to ride, 3 swimming pools one of which is for smaller children, think its only 1 1/2' deep, lap pool and party pool, I'm sure they have more than what I've listed They r currently finishing up their newest area of tiny houses for renting, they are 2 story and include front deck and patio with fireplace, the area sits on top of a ravine Again on weekends they have golf carts driving around selling cocktails right at ur door Bathrooms and laundry r large and clean, staff is very accommodating Holidays here r over the moon and booked years in advance, think of amazing decorations and additional activities Spaces r all sizes and manicured, we truly feel this is one of those places where u have no worries and don't have to spend time taking care of things, just call them and ask for help...this place is really about making sure u can relax, stop and smell the flowers vibe I've seen incredible parties here and big time family enjoyment, views everywhere, people r just happy all around u...ur close to town, casino and wineries If we could I think we would live here full-time It's definitely a place u want to visit...we can't wait to go back
