Temecula/Vail Lake KOA is definitely family friendly as well as Mountain Bike friendly. The campsites are spacious which makes it very nice. If I had one recommendation, and it's not much, it would be to have somebody that is organized take charge of the cafe. The kids are great and mean well but are simply not organized.

bathrooms looked rough or uninviting, but I didn't need them. camp roads could use repair for numerous cuts across them. I liked the place and its a wonderful place for kids, and for everyone to be bicycling

This was a spontaneous trip that was more than we could have hoped for. My family and I enjoyed all the activities that were available. The team made the trip! Everyone was helpful and kind making it a perfect weekend. Our site was beautiful and all of the common areas were clean and easy to access. Thank you so much to those who went over and beyond the create special memories for our family.

The staff are exceptional. Always helpful and accommodating. The sites in the oaks need to be leveled out. Site 100 for example the dump hole is elevated in concrete above the level of the parking area. Guess what, that does not work at all. Moved to site 90 which was very nice for dumping Tank’s. Site 100 is a beautiful site but it need work.

We stayed in an area with no wifi, and it would have been nice, but otherwise the stay was perfect, very clean campground, friendly staff and easy access. Thanks1

Wish more spots had electric. And roads need new pavement BAD ESPECIALLY in Arroyo its scary to watch these youngsters ride there bikes and hit those ruts and eat the asphalt �

Love the improvements being made since KOA taking over. Love the proximity to biking. Lots of fun’s activities for kids.The mini golf could use a little repair.

Great location/amenities, just very crowded and packed in, with too much noise from people/music and too many generators! I understand maximizing # of sites to allow more campers, but I think maybe a tent only area where generators aren't allowed might be nice? Our group was in Arroyo Seco, and it felt almost like a parking lot with huge RVs all around. I bet weekdays are beautiful and serene:).

The kids enjoyed been at Vail and looking forward to coming back for 3-5 days. Staff were great and everyone was awesome.

Nice campground. Excellent staff always available that are friendly and helpful such as on this visit: Marrah, Donna, Joely, and Gabe. Cell coverage and WiFi is spotty. Needs recycle center or drop off sites

Chaos. You need to go to a state park and see what a real campsite is like. This was too crowded. Not enough bathrooms. Bad firewood. Dirty. Noisy. Unsupervised. I will not stay in a KOA again.

Nice campsite, great views. Got to watch hot air balloons take off from the winery's. Winery's are close for tasting. Great stay.

The stay was very nice, very clean, staff was very professional, and friendly hope to do more KOA camping in the future I would like to get a camping guide that list all the KOA s in California. We will be staying at another KOA in Banning Ca. in Oct for a wedding looking forward to it.

Our first time staying, and we stayed in Chardonnay during the week. Had great view and nice big campsite. The showers need updating, but other then that we will stay again.

This was our first time at KOA..absolutely amazing time. The Saturday night Band was killer. We danced and enjoyed every minute of it...the staff...wow kudos � � � � � �

KOA employees cheerful and very helpful. Restroom clean. (That's the first thing I look at!) We were very impressed with the entire site and plan to make reservations to come again.

The camp site was great, nice and peaceful. The location of the nice, close to city for convenience but just far enough out for tranquility.

We had a fabulous time, even with the rain and cold weather. One suggestion though. We all had a hard time with the network connection to our TV’s. Third party company was very difficult to contact. Thank you!

We loved the location all the mountain bike riding and hiking. Wish you guys had a big hot tub for sore muscles after all the riding and hiking.

We had a wonderfil stay. Staff was friendly and the campground was clean. Only suggestion is they were suppose to have a lollipop flashlight hunt for the kids but it was cancelled due to the rain. Maybe next time have they lollipops they were going to hide in the store so when parents had to ask they could at least give a lollipop to the kids that showed up and not be too disappointed.

Where do I start...this is a Mountain Bike KOA, the place is huge, multiple levels, versatile views, clean, really fun stay Luv their store, they have a restaurant and another building with a full bar, as u can see from my pics they also have outdoor dining, weekends they feature live music on stage for free Miniature Golf, Bouce Ball, Volleyball, Arts and Crafts, train for kids to ride, 3 swimming pools one of which is for smaller children, think its only 1 1/2' deep, lap pool and party pool, I'm sure they have more than what I've listed They r currently finishing up their newest area of tiny houses for renting, they are 2 story and include front deck and patio with fireplace, the area sits on top of a ravine Again on weekends they have golf carts driving around selling cocktails right at ur door Bathrooms and laundry r large and clean, staff is very accommodating Holidays here r over the moon and booked years in advance, think of amazing decorations and additional activities Spaces r all sizes and manicured, we truly feel this is one of those places where u have no worries and don't have to spend time taking care of things, just call them and ask for help...this place is really about making sure u can relax, stop and smell the flowers vibe I've seen incredible parties here and big time family enjoyment, views everywhere, people r just happy all around u...ur close to town, casino and wineries If we could I think we would live here full-time It's definitely a place u want to visit...we can't wait to go back
