We had a great 4 days there. Lots of hiking and biking. The pools looked nice but didn't go in them. The last day was very hot and very windy but didn't stop us from having a good time.

It would have been great but 3 groups across from us we up until 12 partying all night. It’s unfortunate there was no one enforcing the quiet hours.

We stayed one night and went into Temecula for a wine tasting. We thought the Vail Lake resort was well laid out and in pretty surrondings.

Very nice and clean! Not sure if you can pick individual spots but it seemed like it was just assigned. Would be great to be able to pick a spot!

We liked the place. We liked the location. I’d stay again. We didn’t like the generators that ran past 11pm and the music that was heard past 11pm as well from a few different groups.

Would had enjoyed it a bit more if our site #155 had shade. We were there Sunday through Thursday and there were plenty of open sites with plenty of shade available.

Stayed first time March 2022 and returned April 2022. Now my wife wants to return next month. Grandkids enjoyed the day visits.

Large camping area with a wide variety of things to do staff was very helpful. I will definitely be taking my family back.

I have been coming to Vail Lake for years. I really enjoyed the lake when the wine and jazz festival was being held there. I wish you would bring it back.

Great staff! Everyone was very friendly. Check in was so smooth and super fast. The free activities were so much fun. Having the pools open was awesome in the 95+ Degree heat.

We love the campgrounds and surrounding trails. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Please get to work repairing the roads and miniature golf course.

Was a little wary going to Vail Lake. Have read some negative reviews. Our stay, however, was perfect. Loved the trails, friendly staff, cafe, clean pools, restrooms. We camped at The Oaks and all the shade was enjoyable. Only reason not a five star rating is the lack of umbrellas and tables at the pools and the miniature golf greens needs some care.

We have been there several times and we always enjoy ourselves. My grandson really enjoys being there as well. Only suggestions I could make would be have a koa employee stationed at pool during its open hours. And have the cafe open all week.

Our first trip in 2 years due to Covid. We picked a place close to home. We were very pleased and plan to return next time we want a short trip.

Only 2 day stay to check out MH after bringing out of storage. Great time. Lots of activities. Only problem was leveling our MH. Sites had lots of dips, etc. Took us almost an hour to get it in a spot where we could get it close to being level. Our friends who came with us had same problem with their travel trailer. Loved the 3 pools but there was no shade. Need umbrellas.

We stayed March 30 - April 3 and had a wonderful time. We love the Chardonnay area. Very clean, very quiet during the quiet hours. We love the bar/community area there were so many people enjoying themselves and visiting. A lot of kids having a good time with the activities and the train! Check-in was a long wait due to only one person working and people not having their sh*t together.

We had a nice time, great hiking trails dogs loved . if you like loud party scene camp in the Oaks on Friday /Saturday, quieter Sunday thru Thursday �

There was way too much noise as music during the day and after hours. We asked the security to please ask several campersd to lower the noise level of their music with no avail. Additionally there was a hill behind our campsite that was turned into a slide using Boogy Boards. Many kids were sliding down into our campsite.

We LOVE Temecula/Vail Lake KOA & stay here atleast twice a year! It's beautiful & the staff is wonderful...especially Ian! There are so many great improvements (more Full Hook-Up Sites, Newly built Condo's to rent out, new & improved activities for the kids...) to the campground that I've noticed over the last year, it's really turning into a 5-Star campground.

We loved our fist stay, so we returned a few weeks later. This time, however, was AWFUL! Three different campsites were BLASTING their music. We had to stay in our RV with all windows closed, but the bass was so loud it vibrated our RV and gave us headaches. This lasted all day until 9:54pm, even though we called your office twice and came into the office to ask for help. This is no way to camp!!

The campground was clean and well patrolled. I didn’t use any of the entertainment areas. Got propane which was easy to access. I enjoy the full hook ups however the electric pole is difficult to see because it’s underneath so needed to use the phone to see it. I guess one thing that I could see as an improvement is the potholes in the road just for safety but if you use the light it works.

Love the layout and nature that surrounds the site. Quiet rules were not happening as people were up playing music past 1am. Where you stay in the park matters and being there for the first time this was a lesson learned.

Where do I start...this is a Mountain Bike KOA, the place is huge, multiple levels, versatile views, clean, really fun stay Luv their store, they have a restaurant and another building with a full bar, as u can see from my pics they also have outdoor dining, weekends they feature live music on stage for free Miniature Golf, Bouce Ball, Volleyball, Arts and Crafts, train for kids to ride, 3 swimming pools one of which is for smaller children, think its only 1 1/2' deep, lap pool and party pool, I'm sure they have more than what I've listed They r currently finishing up their newest area of tiny houses for renting, they are 2 story and include front deck and patio with fireplace, the area sits on top of a ravine Again on weekends they have golf carts driving around selling cocktails right at ur door Bathrooms and laundry r large and clean, staff is very accommodating Holidays here r over the moon and booked years in advance, think of amazing decorations and additional activities Spaces r all sizes and manicured, we truly feel this is one of those places where u have no worries and don't have to spend time taking care of things, just call them and ask for help...this place is really about making sure u can relax, stop and smell the flowers vibe I've seen incredible parties here and big time family enjoyment, views everywhere, people r just happy all around u...ur close to town, casino and wineries If we could I think we would live here full-time It's definitely a place u want to visit...we can't wait to go back
