My family had an amazing time during our 12/10/2021-12/12/2021. The “village” area’s trees were beautifully wrapped in colorful Christmas lights. There was a live band playing in the village square Saturday evening, with a snow-flurry machine overhead that dropped snow as you bopped to the music. We were there for Christmas events. Some of the event were a little unorganized, but overall we had a great time. Looking forward to returning Next year.

Out all the times I have stayed at Vail KOA, this has been by far the worst experience. The most unorganized over priced experience yet. Selling out of activities and the lack there of, to not being able to reserve the same spot I was in this year for next based on a “first come basis” with no rhyme or reason. Over priced activities, 1 hour long waits for breakfast etc. KOA is dropping the bal

We went for the holiday events. All of which weee sold out. Guests should have guaranteed access to the events since they are paying a premium nightly rate for the weekend. I was very disappointed that we couldn’t participate.

We had a great time and will definitely come back. I will say the event planning for the holiday stuff (santa breakfast, snow play, etc) could have been better but I understand it was only the first year. The area was beautiful and the bike pump/jump tracks were awesome!

I enjoyed our stay. The thing that we did not like the most was there was a lot of people driving around in the golf carts. It seamed like they were cruising the camp ground. Not really going any where.

Ian did a great job at a hard problem. I loved how the whole Team put on smiles and made this weekend events great. The pancakes where the best and worth the wait. Also the hot chocolate was perfection. I want to say thanks and keep up the great work. We have already rebooked for next year. Please turn in lights Friday. Also all more solar light for the drives ways. We need more lights for paths

Wow, this was my first time here and it was awesome! We came here when they had all of Christmas activities, but even without all that, this place has a so much to do. It's also very large, so there are a lot of areas to explore and a lot of space for the whole family to have fun. Nice sites, tons of activities, friendly and accommodating staff, what more could you want?

We had a great time! It was a busy weekend but all employees were so friendly. Wish we would have booked in time to have full hook-ups, but I heard eventually all spaces will have electric. Staff did great with kids activities, Mai Tai Mobile is adorable. Really beautiful area, felt like we were not even in Temecula.

The Wifi was not available all week. We had 4 other friends that had the same problem at their sites. Spent too many hours with HOA Wifi tear 3 dept on the phone and never got it resolved. Hope you have it fixed next time we come. All the other staff at Vail Lake was outstanding.

This is our third stay at Vail since we bought our first travel trailer one year ago and we love it! It’s peaceful, clean and everyone we’ve come across is very kind. Thank you KOA/Vail Lake!

This was our first stay at Vail lake KOA. It definitely exceeded our expectations. All of the staff was wonderful And very professional the activities were outstanding we can’t wait to go back

Was dark already when we got there and needed help with parking our trailer, we didn’t know where our site started and ended. Called the after hours assistance at 7:30pm to see if someone could come down and help us and was told no one could come help until after 9:30pm so we were on our own.Next day water pipe burst and water was off for hours. We have been to Vail Lake before and wnjoy all the other activities. We were disappointed for snow day for the kids, it was made more for younger kids under 5 or 6. It was basically a playground slide size.

Our stay was good except for the Wi-Fi was not working the entire time we were there. We were not able to watch television while stuck in our trailer because of the rain. The campground was nice and so were staff. The facilities were good but the technical support team for the Wi-Fi did not fix the problem.

We really enjoyed camping in the Chardonnay Mesa. The beautiful trees and green lawns, and the views of the surrounding hills, all make this area our favorite spot in your campground.

Should inform guests that there are coyotes, people have pets, just like you have signs warning of rattle snakes. There is very poor WiFi, and having to contact the support team is difficult when you have zero cell service. I feel sorry for people that work from their RV and even when parked near a cell pole there was little to zero cell service....my speed test showed 0.1, 0.2 up to 0.3, patheti

Nice campground, friendly staff, large camping spots with room to enjoy space. Very clean. Huge oak trees to give you the feel of being away from it all. Had an issue with WiFi and was not able to use during our stay. We could never get to the page to give the code. Seemed complicated. If there was any improvement needed in the campground, that would be the only thing.

The place had so many people out and around keeping the grounds clean and safe. Very happy with the front check in security post. Nice mature trees and bike trails right at your doorstep.

Always a great time when we stay. Our only issue, the water pressure is a little low. Other than that, we always book our next stay when we are camping there. We love it!!

Annual group trip with coworkers. Such a fun place with beautiful Christmas decorations & lots for the kids to do. We love camping here and will be back to ride the mountain bike trails.

Nice place but so many, many loose dogs. After seeing 5 dogs go after 1 dog, I went to the office and reported it. I was told by the staff member that there wasn't anything that could be done to enforce putting dogs on a lease. Moved to another section. Walking our dog, a german shepard came after our dog.NOT GOOD.

It would be beneficial for your campers with tall rigs to trim the trees back. We camped in site 75. We had to avoid the trees as our rig is 13’5” tall!! Please consider. Thanks.

Our stay was awesome! The village and activities were great. Only hang up was the phone availability. Tried calling regarding our reservation and had a very difficult time reaching someone. Overall was a great experience.

Where do I start...this is a Mountain Bike KOA, the place is huge, multiple levels, versatile views, clean, really fun stay Luv their store, they have a restaurant and another building with a full bar, as u can see from my pics they also have outdoor dining, weekends they feature live music on stage for free Miniature Golf, Bouce Ball, Volleyball, Arts and Crafts, train for kids to ride, 3 swimming pools one of which is for smaller children, think its only 1 1/2' deep, lap pool and party pool, I'm sure they have more than what I've listed They r currently finishing up their newest area of tiny houses for renting, they are 2 story and include front deck and patio with fireplace, the area sits on top of a ravine Again on weekends they have golf carts driving around selling cocktails right at ur door Bathrooms and laundry r large and clean, staff is very accommodating Holidays here r over the moon and booked years in advance, think of amazing decorations and additional activities Spaces r all sizes and manicured, we truly feel this is one of those places where u have no worries and don't have to spend time taking care of things, just call them and ask for help...this place is really about making sure u can relax, stop and smell the flowers vibe I've seen incredible parties here and big time family enjoyment, views everywhere, people r just happy all around u...ur close to town, casino and wineries If we could I think we would live here full-time It's definitely a place u want to visit...we can't wait to go back
