Barking dogs and irresponsible pet owners detracted from our pleasure Difficult to control for sure but releasable (extended) leashes resulted in uninvited dogs visiting us on our site

I found the campground to be expensive, we were required to use two sites for 5 people. Every other KOA I have been to has allowed 6 people per site.

We had 4 different families staying out there. Was a good time!! Nice get together for us. Lots to do for the kids. The owner is always pleasant and very friendly too!!

Stayed one night. That was long enough. This KOA is not up to the KOA standards. Kids driving the golf carts. ATVs on camp sites even tho they were not supose to be. Our site was a road once. We were placed on an island. I did not feel safe at all. Staff was friendly but thats about it. Would not reccomend at all. Very run down. Garbage bins outside my window. Smelt Garbage all night. Disgusting.

Clean, friendly and family oriented campground. Great amenities… love the variety and close enough to amazing sites to drive to. Stayed last year for a week, and again this year 2021, certainly did plan to stay again when we travel this way.

The rooms were nice but small. Its twice the price as a provincial Yurt in Manitoba - which is much larger in size and much better scenery at the provincial park. The mens bathroom could use some attention more often. Its ok for the price - but not great.

Caught owner on a bad day? We pulled off hwy after driving 12hrs and short story - we were told if I didn't like it go to Walmart...we have stayed at countless KOAs throughout New England for 20 years and have always been treated excellent - this place however...her poor staff cower under her dominant leadership... I hope they know they can find a minimum wage job anywhere now and not to endure he

I rented two cabins so that when my parents, aunt and uncle came to visit they would be able to sleep comfortably. They loved their stay here and they really enjoyed the cabins and the amenities. In fact my dad said next time he come to town during the season. ( we stay here from May to September ) he would like to stay in the cabins. Everyone is always impressed with the Thunder Bay KOA.

We only had an overnight stay in our new motor home to try things out. Picked Thunder Bay KOA because it was close to our home. Had the grandkids with us and fun was had by all age groups. The pool area was fantastic.

Staff was friendly. The site was okay if not extremely narrow. The roads were extremely dusty - unless you were on a row with seasonal campers then dust control quite visible. Plus the pool wasn't open to "daily" campers.

Disappointing that most units couldn’t use air conditioning as there wasn’t enough power. We went from 30 amps down to 20. Washrooms were very clean, pool excellent, water pressure good.
