This KOA is AMAZING! There has been a lot of thought and effort put into the many amenities. Amazing mini putt course!!! Horseshoe pits, shuffleboard courts, basketball court. A splash pad to rival any anywhere!This was our second visit and we hope to return. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Keep up the awesome service.

I always enjoy our camping experience at the Thunder Bay KOA.The kids love it there with the pool area and hanging out with old and new friends that they have meet. Everything from the dog park to the trout pond, always something to do and the staff is first rate. It is a great place to camp

Enjoyed our stay very much. Love the upgrades to the cabins. (fridge, bar-b-que & air conditioner) The staff did a great job picking up garbage and keeping everything clean and tidy.

I understood that 'full service' included cable.... only to arrive and find our area was not designated for same. It would have been helpfu if the person with whom I spoke at booking gave more detailed information about the options, available at the Thunder Bay KOA.

Very nice campground, lots of things to do, well kept grounds, clean bathrooms Clean showers but not enough of them, staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again

We love that you can have full hook-ups with pull-thru sites. Our favourite activity was the mini golf although it’s obvious that kids prefer the pool and splash pad. We enjoyed our stay and would return if we were in the area again. Our only suggestion is to fix the driveway into the campsite. My husband almost wiped out on his bike!

It is my daughter's favourite place to stay. We stayed there on the way to our destination, and she begged me to make it one of the places we were staying on the way back. It's well treed, and the pools are lovely. Staff was welcoming and clear with their directions. Only downside is it isn't right next to water. The amethyst mine nearby was a plus though.

we had a very relaxing weekend we family, staffs are friendly we just love the koa in Thunder Bay. We will be back next summer for a week or so .

Always rated a 4 until there wifi upgrades this summer. One of the best wifi of any Campground I've been in. Constantly improving. Top 3 KOAs in the country.

My second time camping with our new to us coach. Did a total of three stays driving across Canada, this one was the best! Quiet, our space was right across from the trout pond. The spaces are a bit exposed to your neighbours, but not the worst we stayed in at all. We would stay again!!

We had a wonderful family camping experience at Thunder Bay KOA August 19-23rd 2020. Even though we had to contend with some rain, we made the best of it by playing board games in the common kitchen area. Public restrooms were always cleaned & stocked, and the staff were pleasant to interact with; kid’s especially liked staff member Faith, who took them for a little joy ride in a golf cart

It was our first time staying at KOA Thunder Bay and we had an absolute wonderful time! Our only disappointment was that we hadn’t booked a longer stay. Our deluxe cabin was cozy, clean and very well kept. The resort grounds, amenities and pool/splash pad were also in exceptional condition. The staff were also helpful and friendly. We can’t wait to go back!

Great place to stay . Easy on and off highway . Terry fox memorial 2 km away . A little noisy from highway traffic but not their fault . Would stay again

Sites were not as well kept as they were in the past. Wifi was slow. Driving range was a nice feature, and close proximity to the highway was a bonus.

Campsite and facilities were very clean. Sites are close together so very little privacy but other campers are respectful and friendly. The staff were very helpful.

Very nice and very clean . Just traveling thru but it looked like a very well appointed campgrounds with lots of things to do. Very easy check in and l liked that no big deal was made of the fact that I did not have a reservation. I travel and have no idea where I will be on a given day and I don't need the you really should have a reservation speech. Did not get that here. Great

I understand we are in different times, however, you park RV’s side by side so you have not limited the number of people in the park, but you restrict the showers and washrooms to 1/2 of the normal capacity but have both sinks operational.
