The rooms were nice but small. Its twice the price as a provincial Yurt in Manitoba - which is much larger in size and much better scenery at the provincial park. The mens bathroom could use some attention more often. Its ok for the price - but not great.

I rented two cabins so that when my parents, aunt and uncle came to visit they would be able to sleep comfortably. They loved their stay here and they really enjoyed the cabins and the amenities. In fact my dad said next time he come to town during the season. ( we stay here from May to September ) he would like to stay in the cabins. Everyone is always impressed with the Thunder Bay KOA.

Our stay was great! The only suggestion I have is to make sure your information regarding check in time is consistent on all advertisement. My husband was told when checking in at 1pm that check in time was not until 3pm , however the website states 1pm as well as on the back of the parking pass you are given for your vehicle. Very confusing when info is not consistent. Over all great stay!

My grandsons and us always have an amazing time when we stay here. The boys love the pools, splash pad, playground, mini putt, and everything else. The staff are awesome and treat everyone like family. I bring all my out of town family and friends here when they come to visit.

Very good. Very clean. When we called about our propane tank needing to be replaced it was done very quickly and professional. The only suggestion I would have it for additional hooks in the cabin. It rained often so there was little place to hang the wet stuff. It would be better in my mind if there was one larger hook on the back of the door in the shower. Vs just the small one. Thank you.

We stayed for three nights in one of the deluxe cabins and it was well worth it. We enjoyed the mini putt and the pool. Nice having a fire each night.

It was exactly what I wanted. A little noisy on Wednesday and Thursday night, a lot of kids yelling and a party. Still didn't go on all night. I had to put the music on in my cabin to drown it out. But I understand that people want to have fun. So really not complaining. Just a mention.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Love the upgrades to the cabins. (fridge, bar-b-que & air conditioner) The staff did a great job picking up garbage and keeping everything clean and tidy.

We had a wonderful family camping experience at Thunder Bay KOA August 19-23rd 2020. Even though we had to contend with some rain, we made the best of it by playing board games in the common kitchen area. Public restrooms were always cleaned & stocked, and the staff were pleasant to interact with; kid’s especially liked staff member Faith, who took them for a little joy ride in a golf cart

It was our first time staying at KOA Thunder Bay and we had an absolute wonderful time! Our only disappointment was that we hadn’t booked a longer stay. Our deluxe cabin was cozy, clean and very well kept. The resort grounds, amenities and pool/splash pad were also in exceptional condition. The staff were also helpful and friendly. We can’t wait to go back!

It would be great if the deluxe cabins came with a dish sponge to make doing dishes easier. Some extra hooks would be awesome in bathroom and also it would be great if bunk bed room had a dimmer light switch. Also, if visitors arent allowed to use pool (which i totally agree with) please consider waiving guest fee if they are only going to be visiting site.

We had an incredible visit at Thunder Bay KOA. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the camp amenities. This KOA has the best camp kitchen we’ve ever seen. It made life so easy! I can’t tell you if I enjoyed that or the coffee the most! We know we will return.

We are never disappointed when we stay at KOA. My daughter loves the pool and that’s where we spend most of our afternoons. The park is well kept, bathrooms are clean and the staff is friendly. We try to stay at least once a summer

This is our second visit to the Tbay KOA and we loved it even more this summer! Our little cabin was adorable and it had everything we needed for our stay. We found the facilities to be very clean and the staff was so friendly. My kids LOVED the pools, splashpad, parks and mini golf...as well as the ice cream! We can't wait to come back again next summer!

Loved the pool warm, clean and relaxing. I stayed in the deluxe cabin and I am very satisfied with it. Enough room for all 6 of us. (3 adults, one pre-teen and two 3 year olds). Felt very safe and the other campers were great neighbours. The people at the front check in are awesome. The site is only 10 minutes away from shopping, but still feels like a secluded camp ground.

We rented one of the deluxe cabins for our stay & were extremely pleased with the whole experience. Everything in the campgrounds & cabin was very clean & well kept. The store is well stocked, staff is very helpful & courteous & the pool area is excellent. We highly recommend the Thunder Bay KOA. Thanks for an awesome time!
