Camper Arrival Time

RV/Tent Check-In: 2:00 PM
Cabin Check-In: 3:00 PM
Check-Out: 11:00 AM. To ensure a clean and ready site, please arrive during the designated check-in window.
  • Early check-in (11 AM – 1 PM) may be available for a $10 fee — please call ahead to confirm.
  • Early arrivals before 2 PM are not guaranteed.

No check-ins after 10 PM. If arriving late, call us at 706-946-0355 to arrange next-day check-in.

Minimum Stays on RV Sites and Deluxe Cabins

RV Sites:
The following site types have a two-night minimum (must include Friday and Saturday) during Peak Season (May - November). One-night reservations made on a Friday/Saturday will not be able to book these particular site types.

Deluxe Cabins:
All Deluxe Cabins have a two-night minimum. One-night cabin stays are not permitted in Deluxe Cabins.

Upgraded WIFI...

We are now a WIFI only campground. Please be advised that speeds may slow during peak times. A personal hotspot is recommended if you work remotely or need consistent streaming.

Visitor Policy

All visitors must park and check in at the office upon arrival.
  • Peak Season: $5 per visitor
  • Non-Peak Season: $5 per vehicle

Each campsite may host a maximum of six people, including registered guests and visitors. All visitors must be registered at the office before closing time. Visitor passes are valid until 10:00 PM.

BR/TR KOA Cancellation Policy

RV and Tent Sites:  7-day cancellation notice is required.  Must notify KOA by 4 pm seven days before your scheduled arrival. If you cancel prior to the 7-day period, you will receive a refund of your deposit less a $20.00 cancellation fee.  Cancellations within 7 days of your arrival date will result in a loss of your full deposit. Email cancellations are not valid.
Deluxe Cabins: These units require a 14-day notice prior to arrival. Must notify KOA by 4 pm 14 days before your scheduled arrival. If you cancel prior to this 14-day period, you will receive a refund of your deposit less a $20.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 14 days of your arrival date will result in a loss of your full deposit. Email cancellations are not valid. Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
Holiday Reservations: These reservations require a 14-day notice prior to arrival. Must notify KOA by 4 pm 14 days before your scheduled arrival. If you cancel prior to this 14-day period, you will receive a refund of your deposit less a $20.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 14 days of your arrival date will result in a loss of your full deposit. Email cancellations are not valid. Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits. (Holidays include: Memorial Weekend, July 4 Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Week, New Years' Week)
No-Show Policy Cancellation Policy
Reservations not checked in by 10:30 am the day after the original arrival date will be canceled as a "No Show." Deposits are forfeited in full when reservations are canceled as "No Show" reservations.

Reservation Changes
Reservations can be changed one time prior to the cancellation window. After the one-time move, the reservation will be canceled (loss of deposit) and a new reservation must be made. Reservation changes can only be made outside of the specified cancellation window.
Cancellation Policy Details:
- Reservations made after the deadlines require non-refundable deposits; cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
- No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts. 
- No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
- Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.

Additional Cars/Carts/Trailers

Due to space constraints, we only allow two cars per reservation. Unless your site accommodates for a second car/golf cart/trailer, we do not have additional space for storage in the campground. We do not allow parking on grass, on the road or in an empty site. River Ridge RV and Boat Storage is located directly across from the Blue Ridge/Toccoa River KOA. Should you need to store equipment while you are staying in the campground, please see a member of the BR/TR KOA staff.

Pick Your Perfect Campsite with "Select My Site"

Campers can reserve a specific site number for a $25 lock-in fee—online or by phone. If you choose not to use this feature, we'll continue to book by site type and assign your site number at check-in. All site number requests must be made through “Select My Site” and will include the $25 fee.*Site selections are first-come, first-served and based on availability. We cannot guarantee side-by-side or group sites unless reserved through “Select My Site.”

Length of Stay Guidelines and Pricing

The maximum stay on an RV site is 27-days, based on availability. 

Maximum Stay in a Deluxe Cabin OR on a Tent Site is 7-days.

Approved Camper and Tent Equipment

All camping units must have the RV Industry Association (RVIA) stamp in order to stay at this campground. We do not accept any type of conversion camper unless it is certified by the RVIA. Only tents are allowed on tent site. We do not allow car camping. One unit allowed per site.

Driving Directions to Campground

GPS Coordinates: 34.889611, -84.289669 [34°53'22.6"N 84°17'22.8"W]
From Atlanta, GA: Take 575N to 515N/5N/76E. Stay on 76E at the intersection of Blue Ridge Drive (Hwy 5) and Appalachian Highway (76E). Go 2.1 miles and pass Ingles Market/TJ Maxx on the left. Go approximately 1/2 mile through the next light. After passing the Exxon, get in the left turn lane and turn left. Follow KOA signs to BR/TR KOA. 

Eastbound Hwy 75 (515): Proceed 2.1 miles past rt. 5/Blue Ridge Drive intersection in the town of Blue Ridge. Watch for Ingles Market/TJ Maxx on your left. Go approximately 1/2 mile through the next light. After passing the Exxon, get in the left turn lane and turn left. Follow KOA signs to BR/TR KOA. 

Westbound Hwy 76: From the junction of Hwy 60, proceed west on Hwy 76 for 1.7 miles. KOA is on the right.

Cabin Deposit

All cabin rentals will incur a $150 cabin incidental deposit. As long as the cabin is left as it was rented, the incidental deposit will be refunded when the cabin has been cleared by housekeeping staff.

Tabletop Grills and Smoker Grills

Tabletop Grills

In an effort to preserve and maintain the cleanliness of our picnic tables, we do not allow grills or cookers of any kind on our picnic tables. Please feel free to use the grate on the fire pit or your own table as a cook surface. Fines for damages will apply.

Smoker Grills

In order to preserve our park, no towable smokers/grills are allowed. Please call our office with any questions regarding grill types.

Tent Site Information

Our tent sites only accommodate one tent. There is a MAXIMUM of two adults per site (and up to four children). Only tents are allowed on tent site. We do not allow car camping.

Tent site length of stay is no longer than 7-days within a 30-day consecutive day period. This policy is year-round.

Campground Drive-Thru Availability

Please call our office to ensure that driving through the park is allowed. Typically we only allow drive-thrus Monday-Thursday, depending on occupancy and number of arrivals.

Health Department Regulations

Per GA law, any camper that DOES NOT have sewer (or is not full hook-up) is required to be within 200-feet of the bathhouse. Management has the right to move any/all reservations made in other site types. 

Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Prohibited

Please note: Electric vehicle charging is NOT permitted at the BR/TR KOA.
Our electrical pedestals are not designed for continuous EV charging and doing so can damage our infrastructure or your vehicle.Staff will remind guests of this policy at check-in if an EV is present. If an EV is found plugged in, it will be unplugged immediately, and guests may be responsible for any damages and/or asked to leave (no refund). Thank you for helping us protect our campground's electrical system.

RV Rental Company Check-In Policy

We want every guest to arrive to a clean, ready-to-enjoy campsite. For that reason, rental RV deliveries are not guaranteed before our 2pm check-in time. Rental drivers may be asked to return during normal check-in hours.

Pool Hours and Guidelines

Our pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day (call prior to Memorial Day and after Labor Day to check availability). Swim at your own risk—no lifeguard on duty. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Per state law, no pets or glass in the pool area.

Quiet Hours

For the comfort of all guests, the BR/TR KOA observes quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Children must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian during quiet hours. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a peaceful environment.

Generator use is prohibited at any time.

Have a Heated Hose??

Staying on a Deluxe Site with a Heated Hose?
Good news! Water spigots on all deluxe sites (KOA Patio, Deluxe Riverside, Deluxe River Access, and Deluxe Pull-Thru) are insulated, so you can keep your hose connected overnight when temps drop below 36°F. All other site types are required to disconnect.

We Love Our Kiddos...AND!

The BR/TR KOA is a family-friendly campground, and children under 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. We want every guest to have a positive experience, and we appreciate your help in making that possible. While we love having kids in the park, ongoing disruptive or unsafe behavior from unsupervised children will not be permitted and may result in removal from the campground.

Tennessee Valley Authority Dam Release Schedule

At the BR/TR KOA, we strive to provide every camper the perfect vacation. For this reason, we ask you to use strong caution before entering the Toccoa River. All campers staying in our campground are required to sign a waiver acknowledging the fact that the TVA controls the dam release schedule and that water levels could be high at any moment of the day. Per the TVA, "water release schedules can change without notice due to unanticipated weather changes or power system requirements. Large amounts of water could be discharged at any time. Use caution!"

Dog Policy/Pet Guidelines

RV Sites:
All pets (max 2/RV site) must be leashed (6' or less) and quiet at all times. Pets are not allowed in the bathhouse, pool area, playground, or laundry facility. Pets must not be left unattended at the campsite. For the safety and enjoyment of others, please clean after your pet wherever you are in the park, including common spaces and the river area.
Cabins
Certain cabins are pet friendly (two dogs max) - please inquire at registration (fee of $35/dog). Cabins are limited to no more than two dogs per pet-friendly cabin. A $25 pet waste fee will be charged to any guest who does not clean up after their pet. To ensure a great experience for all campers, please pick up pet waste immediately. Doggie Stations are located throughout the campground for your convenience.

Smoking and Vaping Policy

No Smoking or Vaping
Smoking and e-cigarettes are prohibited in all park buildings, the pool area, and the pavilion. Smoking only permitted at the campsite. No cigarette butts should be left on site; cleaning fees may apply.

Guest Mail and Package Deliveries

Per the post office (USPS), we are not allowed to accept personal mail or guest packages at our campground. Any mail/packages sent to our campground via USPS will be held at the post office. PLEASE send ALL packages/mail deliveries to the following address: General Delivery, 273 Orvin Lance Connector, Blue Ridge, GA 30513.
