Campground Reviews

Although the water was not yet on (we camped in an 5th Wheel when a freeze was still a possibility), we found the camp hostess to be very welcoming and accommodating. We used the very nice camp showers and restrooms and enjoyed nice hot showers. It was a great place to overnight and we wish we lived close enough to spend a few weeks in the Fall.

By far this was the largest campsite we've ever stayed at. It had to be at least 200 ft long. We just stayed for one night. I thought it was strange that you had to go through a gated residential neighborhood to get to it. Nice secluded campground.

The attendants where very kind and accomadating with all my needs. They where very pleasant, easy to speak with. Looks like they are doing a great job on a tight budget.

Loved it

Clean facility, very friendly lady did our check-in. Sites are spacious and the northern lights were spectacular to see on a crisp cold night. You must go see the nearby Elk if you stay at this KOA.

50 dollars for a tent site without showers nearby is way too much. Don’tnt need water or electricity ar site

This KOA is inside a gated community of Treasure Lake. We had a pull through that was long enough for a 40 foot RV, a truck and a boat trailer (if we had one). Resort has planted new trees. Wish they would make the internal roads wider. Hope they have escort carts during regular season because it is a very large area. Good distance between sites.

First time we had a pull through site, needed to pull further ahead than I wanted to due to unevenness of the site itself ( probably from everyone parking in the same spot ) more gravel is needed in and around exiting areas from rv and fire ring to eliminate mud in a rainy situation. Still love the improvements that you are doing.

Easy check-in. Fall colors were beautiful. Nice level sites with plenty of room. We had a back in full service site.

Great campground. Let you stream on your smart TVs. Friendly, beautiful and very clean.

Really enjoyed this KOA nestled in a beautiful gated community. Spots are spacious, bathhouses are clean and modern. Nice Halloween party in the Lodge. Looking forward to another stay next year!

One of the best camp sights we have been to in Pa. It is now on our must stay list. Thanks to Jim the ice cream man and artist.

Enjoy staying here when we come to view the elk @ Benezette. Nice clean restroom/showers. Only drawback is the campground is so dark!!! No lighting except at the 2 restrooms! It sits so far back in the woods its spooky!! Desperately need lighting!!

Great stay - we enjoyed it. Would recommend this KOA obtain a LP fill station. I have a fifth wheel and needed propane. I have the larger tanks so I was unable to exchange LP tanks.

We had a beautiful site and a great weekend to camp. We love it there.

Very impressed! Better than the website. Very clean and lots to do. Just very hard to find site after dark.

This is our second stay at Dubois. Great campground! Fantastic office staff - they are friendly, helpful and know the campground. Bathrooms are clean, spacious and private. Sites are level and very spacious. Long drive from the the turn into Treasure Lake but the scenery and sheltered location is fantastic! Definitely a treasured campground in the middle of Pennsylvania.

Great campgrounds and staff! The gentleman in the store/snack shop was very helpful! He had wonderful suggestions on what to do in the area and made us a great pizza!

We only had one night to stay at Treasure Lake, wish we could have stayed longer.

We thought it was clean and well kept, obviously working hard to make it a destination for sure. We had issues with the WIFI access - called customer support, they just got frustrated, said they would call us back but that was 2 days later, the day we were leaving. The Verizon sig very spotty used our jet pack. Drive gate to KOA is tedious, 6 miles at 25 mph, 25 minutes, need different gate way

Pull through full hook up. Spacious sites. Cable tv would be nice. We couldn't get over the air channels. It did rain for a portion of our trip so we were stuck inside for quite a while. I'd pay extra for cable. They do give a code for Roku tv however if you have that. Beautiful campground though. And we did spend most of the time outside when we could or exploring the area for the elk.

This place needs to get rid of the seasonal sites. They are very sketchy! Otherwise, a very nice quiet place.

Staff was very nice, place is clean, not a lot of kids stuff which I thought KOA, did more activities for kids.

It started in the office, where we were greeted and felt welcomed. Quickly finished the paperwork, received our key and was on our way. The cabin was neat, clean and ready. Even thou it was a rainy weekend we were able to get out and do a lot of walking around. couldn't help but to notice how clean and picked up the camp was. Looking forward too our next visit.

Overall a great location! Not much going on at this location compared with others we have stayed at, given the time of year. It's Halloween and their were kids and lots of campers, get some activities going on. Face painting, trick or treating, etc. Make people want to come back. It doesn't have to be Halloween weekend to do this stuff. Your location is awesome! Just needs a little pop!

Very clean and very nice sites but didn’t feel like a KOA the Check in and the store had maybe 1 shelf of stuff in them, the maintenance be holes all said treasure lake not yellow and KOA, also nothing was really going on for kids

Great area to visit. Easy access from I80. Nice!

We were there at the end of the season and arrived after hours. The drive in was more than we expected, 15-20 minutes thru a gated community. No one there to let us know where I site was, the park map we were given was confusing. The dog park was very disappointing it was very small. The lots were on the small side. The showers were nice and clean and staff we met were friendly.

Stayed here in the 20th anniversary of 9-11. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. We didn't not visit the pool but is was clean. Some sites don't have any trees but our site was level. Not a hot day so trees did not matter this weekend. Nice area. You enter a gated Community where you get access to the KOA. They have us a map and directions to the KOA. About 10 +/- minutes up the road Then check in with KOA and assigned a site. Nice KOA, clean area, store was nice, bathroom is clean, decent showers. Overall a very nice stay. Thank You KOA. Music both Friday and Saturday night at the store/pool area. We could hear it from our campsite and the music was excellent. We did take a walk Saturday night to see the man playing the music. Nice job. No complaints. Near Treasure lake still within the gated community, fishing with a license of course, kayaking but you need to use their kayaks I don't think you can bring you own. Check first. I'm not sure how the access for boat usage is in that same area. Check before you plan on putting anything in the water in that area. I thought I took more pictures but can't find them. The KOA was worth it as are most KOA's.

Very clean, quiet, peaceful. The only bad parts were driving 5 miles at 25 mph through the gated community and then at our site the gravel needs to be leveled out, luckily we had an extra step with us or I'd of never gotten into our camper ( was still a big step from that to the actual steps ) as the first step was at least a good 2 feet off the ground (up to my husband's knee). We are used to at other KOAs people driving around selling firewood & a staff presence. Very nice place, but probably won't come back to this KOA.

This is our first time at this KOA and we are very pleased! We always try for full service pull-through sites and there are huge! We are here in the off season and during the week so I imagine it's more peaceful then on a weekend in high summer, but still, a great campground! The drive in is not as bad as I expected from other reviews. If it weren't for the gate at the entrance to Treasure Lake, it wouldn't be any different from the roads to any number of other campgrounds where we've stayed.
