Campground Reviews

Wonderful staff and facilities. Sites were clean and just right for my big rig and vehicle towing behind. Nice place for kids of all ages.

Excellent staff, super spacious, has so much potential to be so much more. It would be nice to see the large amount of unused sites fixed up and booked. Adding a water park and a separate entrance to the campground would make this place a top 10 resort!

Put a sign in the cabin part of the koa that in order to reach the campsites you need to keep driving on the road. We arrived after hours and the guard at the gate didn’t know to tell us that. We almost left without staying because of how desolate and unsafe the cabin area felt when we arrived. We had a reservation number but no campsite assigned; the main gate guard had no info amd couldn’t h

Very peaceful and quiet. Nice family campground.

Grass needed cut before we got there and also other people from surrounding campsites were constantly crossing our campsite with their dogs and letting them go to the bathroom around our campsite.

Visited with friends in the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. Very nice campground!

Need better maps and road markings. Got lost in the part of the area that was private. I did love the long campsites.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. If a problem arose, they promptly took care of it. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

We had a wonderful stay. Close to the lake and lots to do. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Well kept campground with very large (long) sites. Stayed for 4 nights and visited family and local attractions. Right off of I80 so great if you are traveling through to stay overnight.

Cabin not very clean, black ants in room, no comp coffee in room, permanent camps in back look like the slums.

Nice location, liked the spaces between the sites. Will definitely visit again. Would like to see cable TV added to the amenities, and internet use opened up to more than 1 device per access card.

So relaxing and I definitely felt that my golden retriever was safe due to the fact that all dogs were on a leash and very well behaved. I would definitely recommend Treasure Lake KOA
Jun 15, 2021
It is a very clean, very quiet and perfect family or gathering facility. The only suggestion I have is that the registration packet include a map of the Treasure Lake area including the New Providence beach and Little Flipper area. Also the snack shop/store closing at 7pm in kind of early. But overall we loved our site, the facility and the wooded atmosphere. Added to our KOA favorites!

This was unlike any KOA I have ever stayed at. To get there you have to drive 5 miles through a sub-divsion. The camping cabins were a duplex house that you share with someone else. It appears they have many year round residents which made it feel more like a trailer park. Many of their clients like what they offer but it just didn't seem like most KOA's that I have stayed at.

Only needed a one night stay on a long trip. We had everything we needed...and more. There are a lot of family amenities here. Very nice stay.

everything was nice but we asked for handicap cabin for 2 given NON handicap for family of 6 for which we had to pay exta for told that was all that was left, saw plenty vacant with ramps we had made rsvp in plenty of time

We were impressed from the moment we drove in. Friendly and helpful was the staff. Our cabin was great, the campground was wonderful, and the grounds are well kept. Thanks again for a great stay

We had a great time there with our group. It was fun exploring around the property - the lodge was awesome for our events and our cabin was terrific. Thanks!

Our group activity’s kept us so busy we couldn’t do much else in the park. The sleeping accommodations were great

I really liked the location and we enjoyed going to Dolittle Station and going to the nearby beach. However, the actual KOA had NO SERVICE which was frustrating. Also, the staff were not helpful, specifically one staff member was very rude to us which I did not appreciate. This was our second camping trip and our first KOA experience was very pleasant without any complaints.

camping in truck, visit Family on another site, WONDERFUL!!!

The pull through site was extremely long & the pad was very level. We had a patio site which was nice but basic. We were told there was now wifi, on 1 device for 1 week. Nope no wifi, no cellular, every now & then we would get two bars on our Comcast Cellular. Dogs running loose everywhere, screaming children invading our campsite throwing balls at our trailer & no oversight from anyone. Not cool

Spaces were large. only good point. There’s nothing to do. Staff not very nice. Snack shack closes early. Dog park out of bags. And half the permanent spots look like a junk yard.

Very nice people on site and extremely clear. Bathrooms and site . Looking forward to coming back. Thank you

Cabin was awesome , quiet and peaceful , will be back in 2 weeks can't wait

Will likely not return. Office staff unfriendly and not willing to help. Misleading on the WiFi. They offer 1 device and you have to pay extra for each additional device. Very poor Verizon cell signal so that is not an option either. Campsite had lots of puddles, bear spots in the grass. Very few sites with sewer. No trees in the area where larger RVs park so very hot sitting in the sun!

Great staff. Biking on nearby Little Miami trail is awesome!

was thankful for the long pull-through site. received a pool and beach pass, but where is the beach? are we allowed to fish at treasure lake while staying at the campground?
Jun 06, 2021
Very much like the campground campground personnel were great had lots of fun at the lake and swimming pool
Jun 03, 2021
very clean bathrooms
Jun 02, 2021
Desk attendant very rude campers can't fish in lake no info on where to go no boats for rent golf carts all booked by a few ppl instead of limiting rental to a few hours so there were more to go around store empty just tee shirts 5 mile drive through residential. Area to camp 4 wheelers razors flying around security patrolling constantly never stops them Wi-Fi limited to 1 phone service spotty

Stayed here in the 20th anniversary of 9-11. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. We didn't not visit the pool but is was clean. Some sites don't have any trees but our site was level. Not a hot day so trees did not matter this weekend. Nice area. You enter a gated Community where you get access to the KOA. They have us a map and directions to the KOA. About 10 +/- minutes up the road Then check in with KOA and assigned a site. Nice KOA, clean area, store was nice, bathroom is clean, decent showers. Overall a very nice stay. Thank You KOA. Music both Friday and Saturday night at the store/pool area. We could hear it from our campsite and the music was excellent. We did take a walk Saturday night to see the man playing the music. Nice job. No complaints. Near Treasure lake still within the gated community, fishing with a license of course, kayaking but you need to use their kayaks I don't think you can bring you own. Check first. I'm not sure how the access for boat usage is in that same area. Check before you plan on putting anything in the water in that area. I thought I took more pictures but can't find them. The KOA was worth it as are most KOA's.

Very clean, quiet, peaceful. The only bad parts were driving 5 miles at 25 mph through the gated community and then at our site the gravel needs to be leveled out, luckily we had an extra step with us or I'd of never gotten into our camper ( was still a big step from that to the actual steps ) as the first step was at least a good 2 feet off the ground (up to my husband's knee). We are used to at other KOAs people driving around selling firewood & a staff presence. Very nice place, but probably won't come back to this KOA.

This is our first time at this KOA and we are very pleased! We always try for full service pull-through sites and there are huge! We are here in the off season and during the week so I imagine it's more peaceful then on a weekend in high summer, but still, a great campground! The drive in is not as bad as I expected from other reviews. If it weren't for the gate at the entrance to Treasure Lake, it wouldn't be any different from the roads to any number of other campgrounds where we've stayed.
