It was a wonderful and friendly park. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Lack of security to enforce quiet hours Golf carts cruising seems to be a thing even after 11pm Barking unattended dogs Closed beaches for pollution Store does not open until 11am Too far to walk to fish, beach, restaurant No trees, no response for 14 hours on their 24/7 text HELP A poor showing for KAO

We rented a cabin 11A my son is in a wheel chair and they said it was ada approved the toilet was very lo to the floor and the shower had no seat or a bar to hold on to. He actually was falling and then we just slid to the shower floor rather then fall. sofa bed was rather old and nasty and the whole place needed a good cleaning. Other than that we had a good time my other son was happy to see us

This was our first stop on a cross-country trip and the campground was very nice, but quite far from the highway. We drove over 5 miles through a gated community to reach our spot. Probably better for longer stays than just an overnight, but very nice.

They had no items in store.

Very first time at a koa. We was on our way to Maine and needed to stop over for the night and was luckily enough to get a spot. That's the good part. The bad part is never got any sleep as the 4 wheelers and gulf karts where at it until after 12am they would stop at the stop sign right next to are spot rev up the engine and race down the road. I told the office and she said call security no cell

Very nice campground, I think they should have left some trees though, there was no internet or cable while I was there.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is a very clean, has lots of room between campsites and is very quiet.

Nice long, level spots. New picnic tables n fire rings. Nice Laundry n Shower facilities. Nice pool n Clean. Negatives: laundry lacked coin machine, broken umbrellas at pool n could use more, store needs MUCH improvement, (food necessities, gift shop goodies, RV items.) Due to location 5miles in back of Treasure Lake, the store should offer more necessities because of its remote location. Thank you

The campground was very nice. However there is not much to do while there. We were there for 8 nights. We wanted a relaxing stay, which we got. We wanted to do more lake side but unfortunately the lake is for residents only... Very small beach access for outsiders. Again very nice campground just not anything there to go back to once there... One of our least like areas for a koa.

everything was great

Campground was clean and for the most part quiet. Bathrooms/showers were clean and well maintained. Staff at the camp store were courteous and very helpful. Tried to use a washing machine and they were all taken and one was out of order. There seemed to be a heavy amount of golf cart traffic. One cart had a train horn on it and the operator spent a lot of time racing around blowing it.

Very spacious sites. We had a patio site and it was just wonderful and very nice for us and our 2 dogs. Only downside is the golf carts flying around at high speeds all day and night. I’m not quite sure why they were needed at all. But overall we had a great time and will be back!

Beautiful campground. Hope to stay again on our way home in September.

Got in last minute. Very quiet and peaceful

Generally everything was fine. 1PM is too early for RV check out. $20 one time charge to select lot is acceptable, but not a $20 per night charge.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for staying with us. We understand that some guests aren't ready to leave at 1pm, this is why we extend passes for the checkout day. Our select my site fee, is a flat $20 per stay. We hope to see you again in the future where you can enjoy our area.

Nice facility but too deep in the development to be easy in and out.

Guests smoking and drinking beer in the pool. Nobody there to reinforce the rules in the pool area. Broken umbrellas. Pool is only cleaned once a week so a lot of floating debris, hair, bugs in it. Family cabin was perfect. We had a great time overall. It was quiet during the week which we enjoyed! Renting the golf cart was useful to get around.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for choosing DuBois/Treasure Lake KOA. We are happy to hear you enjoyed our cabins! We are glad you pointed out the smoking/ drinking in pool, we will work harder to enforce this issue. We know we have broken umbrellas, we are just waiting on the new ones to be delivered.

We had a great time! Clean restrooms and showers. Pool was clean and uncrowded. Snack bar had nice variety. The restaurant “Duffers” had excellent food. We would definitely camp here again !

Large campsites. Would have been easier if ground was made more level before stones added. That being said it was a great setting.

Great place. Lots to be do for kids.

Permanent campers across the street, who are not on KOA property, had lights on all night, including one whose outside lights were so bright that it outshone our campfire. I felt like I was camping in a backyard instead of in the woods. I wish we had been assigned a tent spot away from this. There were a few obnoxiously loud vehicles and a drunk tour on a loud golf cart, otherwise very quiet.

Are stay was very although I would pick a site with more trees and a sewer hook up the next time
Jul 27, 2020
great place quiet n clean could use wifi, cable, and a cell tower
Jul 27, 2020
You need more trees. It’s too wide open. No shade. What few trees are there are dead or dead on the tops which is a hazard.
Jul 27, 2020
Everything was great but there were 3 trees around our site that were dead and provided no shade. They should be cut down as they could be a danger to campers if there is a storm.

Enjoyed the amenities
Jul 27, 2020
Had a great time.. and returning this coming weekend.
Jul 27, 2020
Great place. Nice sites and clean restrooms.
Jul 26, 2020
My site was level and the hookups were all functional. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. Cell phone service is spotty and internet access is limited via phone hotspot. Quiet hours were ignored on the weekend and some drove loud golf carts around late into the night, some fireworks were set off and some were blowing car horns. During the week things were peaceful. Nice place to stay

Nice park. However, you need a car to go to the beach
Jul 24, 2020
Large clean sites. Bath houses immaculate.

Check in with the staff was friendly and professional. The grounds and rest rooms were neat and clean. The pull thru site we were assigned (1262) was super large; loved it!! We were there for a family reunion and the folks voted to come to the KOA again next year. Hope to see ya again next year!!! Marty and Sue Pennington.

Our stay was wonderful. Cute cabins with everything you need. We loved the covered porch in the back...it was perfect for when it rained

Stayed here in the 20th anniversary of 9-11. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. We didn't not visit the pool but is was clean. Some sites don't have any trees but our site was level. Not a hot day so trees did not matter this weekend. Nice area. You enter a gated Community where you get access to the KOA. They have us a map and directions to the KOA. About 10 +/- minutes up the road Then check in with KOA and assigned a site. Nice KOA, clean area, store was nice, bathroom is clean, decent showers. Overall a very nice stay. Thank You KOA. Music both Friday and Saturday night at the store/pool area. We could hear it from our campsite and the music was excellent. We did take a walk Saturday night to see the man playing the music. Nice job. No complaints. Near Treasure lake still within the gated community, fishing with a license of course, kayaking but you need to use their kayaks I don't think you can bring you own. Check first. I'm not sure how the access for boat usage is in that same area. Check before you plan on putting anything in the water in that area. I thought I took more pictures but can't find them. The KOA was worth it as are most KOA's.

Very clean, quiet, peaceful. The only bad parts were driving 5 miles at 25 mph through the gated community and then at our site the gravel needs to be leveled out, luckily we had an extra step with us or I'd of never gotten into our camper ( was still a big step from that to the actual steps ) as the first step was at least a good 2 feet off the ground (up to my husband's knee). We are used to at other KOAs people driving around selling firewood & a staff presence. Very nice place, but probably won't come back to this KOA.

This is our first time at this KOA and we are very pleased! We always try for full service pull-through sites and there are huge! We are here in the off season and during the week so I imagine it's more peaceful then on a weekend in high summer, but still, a great campground! The drive in is not as bad as I expected from other reviews. If it weren't for the gate at the entrance to Treasure Lake, it wouldn't be any different from the roads to any number of other campgrounds where we've stayed.
