Nice campground. Lots of large campsites. Fair prices.

The cabin was KOA pool were nice. Rented a golf cart but was told to only ride it in select places so it wasn’t as fun. Treasure lake is beautiful but it seemed like you needed to be a home owner to go to the lodge pool and there weren’t many places to fish.

We went to this KOA thinking that we could put our kayaks in the lake and use the Treasure lake amenities. We were not allowed to use the facilities or put our kayaks in the lake. We could rent kayaks from treasure lake but were not allowed to fish in the lake. We ended up leaving the area and going kayaking and fishing somewhere else. We will never stay here again. Also the pool was freezing.

Our stay was very nice. The reason I gave it 9 and a 4 was they had lost our friends reservation and they didn’t have full hookups. That is another reason I gave a 9 and 5 is because you don’t have very many full hookups. The place was very clean and quiet. I would stay there again.

Campground is Huge! I mean Huge, Huge!!!! Sites are good sized and comfortable! It’s nice to have some room to play all the camp games that some campgrounds don’t have the space for. My kids love the ice cream at the camp store. Only complaint is the pool needs heated better!

Pool was a little too cool Advertised as a “heated” pool. Well maintained and clean

We stayed one night on our way back from Mount Rushmore. Their campground is very clean with easy access. My only concern is we stayed one night, but they show us paying for two nights. We sent an email with no response.

They went out of their way to make our stay a happy one..

People in the office are very nice and helpful. The pull through full hookup site was weird. If u want the connection to the sewer it’s too far back for the patio to be near your door. Many pull through sites have tall grass not mowed and no gravel spot to set up next to camper door area. Lots of seasonal or permanent sites. Lots of junk on this sites gives it a run down look and feel.

Nice staff, flat spacious lots, nice pool, all other campers were friendly during our stay.
Jul 11, 2021
Open fields, easy pull thru, safe parking, not camping.
Jul 10, 2021
Showers were covered in mildew and had not been cleaned in some time. Many of the toilets did not have and toilet paper. The tent and small camper sites were neglected. This was our first ever bad experience in a KOA

The staff was amazing. Had a wonderful weekend!

This is one of our favorite places to stay, however, this time was a disappointment. Over the holiday weekend, there were several dogs not on leashes. Some dogs ran from campsites at other dogs walking on leashes or people walking by. We also witnessed a dog fight at 2 different camp sites. This was brought to the attention of the office but nothing was done. Rules should apply to all campers.

The grass was not cut at all. And the internet connection had a lot to be desired.

Very spacious and nice. Need more full hookups!

Several family members got cabins and stayed 3 nights over the 4th of July holiday. The cabins were spaced apart each family has plenty of room to spread out! cabin was immaculate, large, and we had a nice patio to sit on. We loved the area and the campground!! The only thing I would say is the new patio needs an umbrella and a larger table. Bathroom could use a small table to place toiletries on

Great i just do not like the gulf carts .
Jul 07, 2021
Verizon phone service so weak, could not use hot spot, KOA WiFi was terrible, only got connected a couple of times. Felt like campers infringed on the Treasure Lake Community, running radar on the road to camp ground only!

Very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Lots of friendly people. Clean restrooms and happy there was a fenced in dog area. Plenty of space between campers. Nice park for the children. Needed Benadryl and was able to get it at your little store. Kids went boating, fishing & swimming. Liked bingo and petting zoo. Went for ride around lake. You have a nice beach. Lovely homes. Thanks for our mini vacation.

Wish you had more activities at the campground and not offsite.

The site sizes were really big. The restrooms needed more attention. The floors from the showers were always wet & slippery. Our electric box was a problem. The campground is okay, but definitely needs updating. Not sure if we’d stay there again.

We really enjoy camping at the Koa in Dubois… we camp there several times a year... the staff are great and they leave alone unlike the experience we’ve had at state parks but if you need them they are always there to help! I would definitely recommend this Koa to friends and family.

Stayed over the 4th of July weekend and had a great time! Only thing I’d suggest is cleaning the bathrooms/shower houses more frequently when there are so many campers. They were very messy by the end of the day each day. Enjoyed the Treasure Lake area and the beach and fireworks!

The sites were very dirty, not maintained at all. Weeds were high, leaves piled everywhere, hookups for water & electric were far from our campers so we had to adjust the way we pulled the camper in. Bathrooms were not very clean. Dumpsters were overflowing. $57 per night was high for what we got. Probably will not return.

great place, perfect for our overnight stay, want to come back and stay longer.

The campground was nice-the outlying area was pretty junky looking. I guess that was Treasure Lake responsibility & if so, they don’t take responsibility at all. We rode our bikes around some of those streets and parts were like a slum. Also, quite a few people in the campground let their dogs run loose. Our dog doesn’t like other dogs so we ended up with a dog fight when a loose dog ran up to

Quick overnighter, restrooms and bath houses were clean

I was with the Goldwing Group for my stay. I had a terrific time. The staff was great from Brandi in the registration to the workers in the snack bar and even the security for the campground. If we needed something everyone went out of their way to help us. The grounds were well maintained and I am counting my days till I can return. Thanks for making our outing a real success.

Park has it ups and downs with areas with dated campers. Spotty WiFi was an issue. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.
Jul 03, 2021
Nice campground mostly quiet. Limited full hook ups. Too many ATV vehicles flying through not following campground speed limit and cutting through camp sites. Otherwise large fairly flat sites and nice bathrooms/showers
Jul 02, 2021
The mattress pads were dirty/unlaundered. There was hair from previous guests stuck to the mattress pads and all over the cabin. The toilet had smear marks on the outside and inside of the bowl. There was a random sock inside one of the bedsheets. There was a dead bug in the fridge. Just ick. Felt dirty.

Stayed here in the 20th anniversary of 9-11. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. We didn't not visit the pool but is was clean. Some sites don't have any trees but our site was level. Not a hot day so trees did not matter this weekend. Nice area. You enter a gated Community where you get access to the KOA. They have us a map and directions to the KOA. About 10 +/- minutes up the road Then check in with KOA and assigned a site. Nice KOA, clean area, store was nice, bathroom is clean, decent showers. Overall a very nice stay. Thank You KOA. Music both Friday and Saturday night at the store/pool area. We could hear it from our campsite and the music was excellent. We did take a walk Saturday night to see the man playing the music. Nice job. No complaints. Near Treasure lake still within the gated community, fishing with a license of course, kayaking but you need to use their kayaks I don't think you can bring you own. Check first. I'm not sure how the access for boat usage is in that same area. Check before you plan on putting anything in the water in that area. I thought I took more pictures but can't find them. The KOA was worth it as are most KOA's.

Very clean, quiet, peaceful. The only bad parts were driving 5 miles at 25 mph through the gated community and then at our site the gravel needs to be leveled out, luckily we had an extra step with us or I'd of never gotten into our camper ( was still a big step from that to the actual steps ) as the first step was at least a good 2 feet off the ground (up to my husband's knee). We are used to at other KOAs people driving around selling firewood & a staff presence. Very nice place, but probably won't come back to this KOA.

This is our first time at this KOA and we are very pleased! We always try for full service pull-through sites and there are huge! We are here in the off season and during the week so I imagine it's more peaceful then on a weekend in high summer, but still, a great campground! The drive in is not as bad as I expected from other reviews. If it weren't for the gate at the entrance to Treasure Lake, it wouldn't be any different from the roads to any number of other campgrounds where we've stayed.
