Beautiful place. 1 downfall is the wifi is very strong but they only allow 1 device. Yes 1 DEVICE all other devices are additional fees. This is limiting for the work from home families travelling. The price of the campground is a premium and the wifi sholud be included.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for staying at DuBois/Treasure Lake KOA, we are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. While we are happy to hear our WiFi is strong, we are sorry for any inconvenience you endured with the permitted 1 free device.

Dubois/Treasure Lake is a great campground. Our site was level and clean. We plan on returning next year !

This KOA is in a beautiful area. The campground was not crowded and very quiet. Due to Covid reasons, we did not utilize the rest rooms so cannot comment on them. But we really liked the area and drove through the forest/parks and took walks. Will definitely return again when this Covid situation is gone as there was much more that we could have done had it not been for the virus....

My children and I don't recall the last time we have seen so many stars! What a beautiful treasure indeed. The park and the surroundings were all so beautiful And this has to be the largest KOA area we have visited. Beautiful lakes and golf courses that we look forward to hopefully making a summer trip to visit! The people who work here are all so kind!!!!

Very nice campground, very flat sites with gravel pads. We stayed for a wk in mid Oct so campground was nearly empty thru wk but got fuller on weekend. Restrooms were clean. There was no lighting within the campground except for a light on each bathhouse. VERY DARK! Long 5 mile drive back to campground after entering gate. Campground is very much out in the woods! Very isolated. Camp store closed

The campground was very clean. The restrooms were spotless. The pull-thru sites were VERY long and easy to get into.

was surprised it was tucked away deep inside of a gated community. very large campground in a wooded mountain community. very quiet for a good nights sleep. only stayed one night. security at the front gate was exceptionally friendly guiding us to the campsite and then to the tavern at the golf course.

Pleasantly surprised the campground was really nice. It seems like they are fixing it up, and making nice big sites.

Nice and quiet. Two negatives were 1. Almost nothing in the camp store. 2. I wasn't allowed to camp in the spot I wanted to, even though most of the campground was empty.

This KOA is OK... pros and cons. Pro, they are upgrading sites and making improvements; it is quiet. Cons, it is VERY far off the highway (about 15-20 minutes); it isn’t the most attractive given lack of trees amidst camping area; no local diesel pumps that accommodate trailers; and it is VERY expensive for what you get (basic site). Even off-peak is double other KOAs. Just not worth it IMO.

New and it didn’t have internet or cable tv, also pretty far to get to it. It’s a nice place once you get there, hopefully it will get finished.

Great stay just wish they had cable hookups other than that will stay again

We didn't like the sites at all. We had full hook up in the center with no trees or privacy we would not recommend. Also we drove through the permanent sites and they we run down campers some just looked like they were in a junk yard.

Very nice and quiet location. The bathrooms were clean and the campsites were spacious! I would visit this KOA again.

the cg is beautiful, especially in the fall when the leaves are turning. it could have been the time of the year but there was not much going on as far as activities and the store seemed fairly short on supplies.

Enjoyed the patio and masonry fire pit! Love the table and chair arrangement instead of the picnic bench. Was our final camp for the season and wanted it to be special! Made the difference!

very nice campground, large sites.

Was good. Need more wifi.

Very nice campground. Bathrooms, showers could have been a little warmer but very clean. The only thing and not their fault was people do not clean up after their pets. Staff vet helpful and friendly.

Beautiful campground!!! Camp store could be stocked with more items. But maybe it was just the time of year. We loved the campground!!

We have already recommended your KOA to others. Our only negative comment: At check in we pulled past the window to clear our camper from the right lane. A young lady came flying out of the office, she rudely told my husband he was supposed to stop at the window! Then she rudely asked is this your first time here...he replied-obviously! I didn’t tell others about this part of our visit!

We loved the lots my brother also did and we already booked camp sites for over the Fourth of July Next year

Beautiful campground, peaceful and very clean
Oct 12, 2020
Pros: nice showers and toilets, security was evident, large sites, well maintained park Cons: picnic table was unwieldy, no sewer hookup,no shade trees, dogs left alone while owners were absent from campground barked throughout day and very early in the morning at a nearby site ( site 1221),need either more dump stations or sewer hookups

Need sewer at sites. Need more for kids to do. Would be helpful to show quests to site.

VERY nice back in site away from crowds and pets. Peaceful quiet stay for a few nights. Nice dump station and restrooms.
Oct 12, 2020
Love the improvements need more full hook up sites.

Campground is lovely. Suggestion: finding site was EXTREMELY confusing. Markings/signs hard to see. As a first timer would be nice to have someone physically take us to site as they do at other campsites. But other than that initial confusion our stay was great. Thank you.

Stayed here in the 20th anniversary of 9-11. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. We didn't not visit the pool but is was clean. Some sites don't have any trees but our site was level. Not a hot day so trees did not matter this weekend. Nice area. You enter a gated Community where you get access to the KOA. They have us a map and directions to the KOA. About 10 +/- minutes up the road Then check in with KOA and assigned a site. Nice KOA, clean area, store was nice, bathroom is clean, decent showers. Overall a very nice stay. Thank You KOA. Music both Friday and Saturday night at the store/pool area. We could hear it from our campsite and the music was excellent. We did take a walk Saturday night to see the man playing the music. Nice job. No complaints. Near Treasure lake still within the gated community, fishing with a license of course, kayaking but you need to use their kayaks I don't think you can bring you own. Check first. I'm not sure how the access for boat usage is in that same area. Check before you plan on putting anything in the water in that area. I thought I took more pictures but can't find them. The KOA was worth it as are most KOA's.

Very clean, quiet, peaceful. The only bad parts were driving 5 miles at 25 mph through the gated community and then at our site the gravel needs to be leveled out, luckily we had an extra step with us or I'd of never gotten into our camper ( was still a big step from that to the actual steps ) as the first step was at least a good 2 feet off the ground (up to my husband's knee). We are used to at other KOAs people driving around selling firewood & a staff presence. Very nice place, but probably won't come back to this KOA.

This is our first time at this KOA and we are very pleased! We always try for full service pull-through sites and there are huge! We are here in the off season and during the week so I imagine it's more peaceful then on a weekend in high summer, but still, a great campground! The drive in is not as bad as I expected from other reviews. If it weren't for the gate at the entrance to Treasure Lake, it wouldn't be any different from the roads to any number of other campgrounds where we've stayed.
