The Christmas lights and vendors on sight were awesome. We actually left our surge protector at the site and then employees had it waiting for us at the front office when we returned! Awesome customer service!

It was fine. The cabin was not as clean as we would like. We found garbage in the light fixture and a cannabis vape pen alongside the bed. There are human bite marks on several blinds.

We rented a deluxe cabin. Cabin was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed it thoroughly. One parking spot isn’t enough for a cabin that can house 8 though. There should be an overflow lot nearby for extra vehicles.

The tent site was very large and accommodating. The entire campground was very clean and efficient. We were very pleased with the staff and facilities.

I spent my 35th birthday party at the campground with my family and the staff and other patrons there were nice and friendly. We enjoyed ourselves. Enjoyed the lights and lots of stuff for my kids to do.

This is return visit for the Christmas light show - we loved it so much in 2020 that we came back again this year. We plan to make this an annual trip.

The deluxe cabin was well accommodated with plenty of linens, towels, dishes and cookware. In addition to the full refrigerator, there was a cooktop, toaster and keurig coffee maker. Outside we had table and chairs a glider and a fire pit. VA Beach KOA knocked it out of the park with holiday activities too! The Christmas lights, Santa and Santa’s village were a real treat!

It was awesome for my kids and me!! Just didn’t like the rush feeling when we arrived ( we were told we had 6 minutes to unhook our camper set up and moved immediately) and did not like that we were on the end right where the cars were turning for the lights. Very busy and hectic.

We just stayed for one night due to my daughter having a gymnastics tournament in Virginia Beach. The deluxe 8 person cabin was so nice! Even though we didn’t get to stay long, the property seemed well kept and there appeared to be a bunch of activities for the kids to do! We will definitely be back to this KOA when we come back to Virginia Beach!

Great environment! Only 2 negatives, the cable tv reception was terrible. The heaters in the cabin we stayed in didn't put out much heat. Other than those things the campground was great fairly quiet.

Staff were friendly except front desk did not tell us that water was being fixed at check in. Roads are narrow and tight. Hook ups need updating. Our (and others) needed hose extension for hookup. Our site was basically dirt and would be quite water drenched if rainy. Lots of play areas. Christmas light show was great. Bath rooms looked clean

Upon our arrival, David parked the camper but did not see the sign to drive around the island. We were met by a staff who said can't you read the signs, David thought he was joking and joked back with him but then staff said don't try to joke your way out of this. As it turned out the camper was faced in the direction of our campsite. This was not the way to greet guests and first-time guests.

We were there for the lights 11/26-28, 2021 and it was fantastic! We had a great time. We had a paved RV site across from a huge field. We hope to come back next year.. Merry Christmas!

Loved the kampground. Clean safe fun. Spacious flat sites. Stayed this time over Thanksgiving. Loved the drive thru “Lights of Christmas “ display. Will be back….soon.

The staff was very helpful and kind and ensured all cabins were clean and heaters were working prior to arrival. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The icing on the cake was the wonderful holiday light show. We will definitely return again soon.

I think someone should have said something about the Christmas light drive through when I made reservation, vehicle driving by and the lights were a distraction. The spaces are quite small, I even noticed fifth wheel units didn't have room for the truck. The staff was sort of friendly, I did check in late just before 5pm. We stayed the week of Thanksgiving and enjoyed the beautiful Christmas Lights. The lot was fairly level. Convenient location within a few miles of churches, the beach, shopping, restaurants, and the Aquarium andotherattractions. Lots of trees and leaves. Staff were always busy being productive.

Staff is definitely not in their element. Much work to be done on customer service, attitude and just smile courtesy. Too much of an order……. Stay away.

We had a very quiet and comfortable stay. Our cabin felt like a home away from home! We had a minor disturbance near our cabin one evening, but it was taken care of very quickly. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back next year!

First night was great......second night huge party at another cabin. No help from staff.... didn’t not stay 2nd night because we did not feel safe. Heard cops were called later. Management has not returned my calls.

We camped inside a light show, with airplanes flying overhead. Since I called first, I would have expected to be warned. Restrooms were closed.

It was a wonderful experience for all of us ages 3 to 72. Plus at the end they asked us if we wanted to go through again and we did. The second time was different music and a whole different magical display. They also offered us a military discount. I would definitely recommend this light show. Shut off your front headlights, and Drive slowly.
