Tessa's Lending Library: One Page at a Time

Introducing our Blog

Our Reservation Specialist, Sami, explores and reviews standard works from Tessa’s Lending Library, a cherished collection named in honor of Tessa Smith. Whose vibrant spirit and loving legacy continue to inspire readers. Throughout thoughtful reflections and engaging insights, Sami brings each piece of literature to life–celebrating stories that connect, comfort, and spark meaningful conversation within our community. She chooses a book from our library and publishes a blog monthly.

What is Tessa’s Lending Library?

In our lounge/game room, we have a lending library in remembrance of book reader/blogger Tessa Smith. In the lending library, you can exchange books or even donate them!

Who is Tessa?

Tessa was a passionate and loving young woman who, unfortunately, passed away at 21 years old. She was loved and cherished by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Tessa was an avid reader and if she wasn’t able to find the book she wanted in any of the public libraries, she would buy it, read it, and donate it to one of the local libraries for others to enjoy. This brought her great happiness. Tessa was passionate about sharing the love of reading with everyone and talking about her favorite books and authors with others. She even created her own online group called “A Bookaholic’s Review by Tessa” to share this love. Help us continue Tessa’s Legacy by sharing many great books.
