Everyone I spoke to was extremely kind and accommodated my need to switch nights a few times due to a car rental issue. The site itself was clean and cozy. If I’m in the area, I would absolutely stay here again.

Horrible its on a strip behind. Casinos / lights / noise / police were looking for a creep hanginig in the k o a from the strip - no security its might at best be good for r r v s to rest ,no tents!!! 3 nights and stayed only 1 —why crazy wind storm first night - went to a hotel -2 nd night - we stayed - and the police lookomg for this person who was in the k o a 3rd night gone no refund

KOA gives a lot of comforts usually. But I generally don’t like staying at KOAs because they’re usually by freeways and very noisy. This KOA was no exception. Also, pool was closed for cleaning. Couldn’t they do that a different time? Also, rec room was closed. Women and men’s bathroom shared the same code so man walked into the women’s bathroom while I was in there. That could be

It was terrible. Others campers are rude with no one to contact for help. Noisy neighborhood right next to campsite. No security. Nothing. Would never come back again.

Cockroaches. Massive swarms of cockroaches in my tent site especially near the water, but no spot was safe. I have never seen so many roaches in a camp ground.

First time at KOA. Fantastic! Lucy (reception) was terric. Loved the wifi, pool, clean bathrooms and showers The enjoyment of setting up my tent and camp site with the amenities of a motel. You've got a new customer Thanks. Please send me information about becoming a member.

A gravel lot behind several casinos. If you’re tent camping, this is not your place to stay. It’s brightly lit, loud, (street noise & train) and while there is a “night watchman” booth it’s obvious to anyone that the booth is dark & unmanned. Bathrooms were clean but dated, WIFI didn’t work. If I had nowhere to go and an RV that I could lock & sleep w closed windows this would work.

We stayed in a tent site, no problems or issues. We were only there to sleep and we slept fine, no noise or other disturbances. We plan on coming back next year.

once again the sharp rocks are very hard on my feet (nephropathy) & the tent pad has a pretty good incline, but Lucy was the best & I'll be back next year

For tent camping this place was horrible.It was like sleeping in a parking lot to close to the casinos and all you heard was big rigs.There was a place to pitch a tent with sand but it was filled with glass.It had a mini picnic table and you are right up against a mobile home park.They could also use a gate with a code because anyone could just wonder onto property from casino.

Overall the campground was great and in an awesome location, but the flies were unbearable. When I read other reviews I figured it was just a few pesky flies bothering people per site…not even close. I literally had to douse my vehicle in bug spray to even try to get the hundreds of flies off of it, at the pool they surround you, and you can’t even sit outside without them landing all over you

Didn’t feel like we were camping.. the site is fenced and behind seems to be a run down trail park. Pool, showers and bathrooms were nice though!

Overall, a great place to stay if you are tent camping and passing through the area. The tent sights are thoughtfully placed so that the fencing blocks natural winds that blow through. The only constructive feedback is that one of the laundry machines was slow to fill and the bench table at the site looked like it had seen better days. Neither of which would keep me from recommending this place.

Tent sites are available but caters to RVs. Tent sites are oversized sand boxes. Pool was nice. Restrooms/showers were clean with lots of sinks and counter tops. Showers separate from restroom/sink area. There were no trash containers around the park!

Everything great, except I booked over the phone for 3 nights, and was only put down for two. Worked out ok though. I could have added the third day, but we decided two nights was ok in the end. Great camp area.

Clean; nice crew; central location; shade trees. Train and highway noise a bit annoying, but better than a hotel. Clean swimming pool!

The showers were a little gross and as a tall person I could not get under the water without bending down considerably. Other than that it was a great experience.

The location was quiet and I got a good night's sleep. The showers were welcome. The campground looked a little desolate without much shade. I arrived late and left early avoiding the heat. I would do an overnight stop here again

Tenting on sand. People coming and going all hours lent to a bad night sleep. People were nice and the puppy park follow of rocks and a good door, nothing special. Bathrooms and showers were the only good thing.

Everything is excellent there. The showers are clean the staff is nice and polite and the site is enjoyable accept for the picnic tables. All sites have a picnic table but they are not user friendly, even for a child these tables would be difficult to sit comfortably and enjoy. I'm older so getting around is a little challenging and the bench seats of the all tables were extremely low.

Bathrooms and showers were pretty much full or dirty every time you tried to use them. Tent sites weren’t level and the one we were given barely fit our tent. Seemed we got the smallest one there.

40mph winds. The site was a parking lot with a sand box for the tent behind a mobile home park. Worst campsite of my life. I have stayed at several koa’s this one was by far the worst.

Tent camped in 100 degree weather. Grateful for the shade provided at the site, the facilities were dated but clean enough. The wind was so extreme the night we stayed that our tent stakes came out of the sand and the tent was trying to lift off the ground. The stakes were difficult to place anyway because it was very rocky underneath the sand so be sure to bring a mallet.

I've stayed at Wendover KOA twice now and look forward to staying there again when I travel East. It is nice, clean and convenient.

Had a overnight stay on way to Rapid City. Enjoyed a good night rest .Wished I could of stayed longer for visit of area. Friendly clean and safe. My kind of place.

I liked the layout of this Kampground. The tent sites were just right. With a shaded picnic table, electricity and water right at the site, I was able to feel at home even without an RV. The Kamp Host I met at the shop was SUPER nice. She is the BEST! The Wendover strip is within walking distance, so I didn't have to break down my truck tent to take in the town or have a meal out.
