What wonderful extra touches this KOA provides to campers. Appreciate the new dog area, wish it were bigger and more shade. The employees are all very friendly. Love the new river access path. Very clean park: kabins, bathrooms, and grounds. Kids loved mining for treasure. We are repeat customers and will definitely be back, worth the drive from the West side! xo

All around amazing experience. Stuart and his crew do an exceptional job maintaining the campground and amenities. Easy access to river, walking trails to town and grocery store. By far the friendliest staff I’ve ever met at any campground. They will stop on a dime to help you in any way. 5-star service. Can’t wait to return! Way to go Stuart and team! Fantastic.

Great location! When we arrived, the campground was totally booked, but didn’t feel cramped because sites are nice and big. Staff did a great job of keeping the camp clean and quiet. Great stay. We hope to visit again.

The KOA family at Winthrop did a fantastic job. But covid takes a lot of fun out of camping. Better next year I hope.

We enjoyed our stay. When we arrived a staff member was needed to cut a branch out of the way of our awning. It was done immediately. He was very friendly and even gave us some firewood which we appreciated. All staff were great.

We had a wonderful time! We loved the cabin and it fit our needs perfectly. The staff was very pleasant and met our every need/request. We are already thinking about a return visit!! Thanks so much for allowing us to make such great memories.

We enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed in how expensive it was. We paid $210 for a very small tent site with just 4 people over a three-day weekend. The bathroom facilities are very nice, however we didn’t feel like it was worth $200. We will speak highly of the campground to others, but will also tell them how overpriced it is.

We had a great time at this KOA. The RV sites are a good size, lots of room we didn’t feel like we were to close to the other sites. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Really loved the location of this camp and the grounds are nicely kept. The staff was very nice! The campers were all considerate of each other, mostly. I appreciated the Quiet noise level at night since we were tent camping. I do think the bathrooms on the East side of camp needs to be updated. Definitely would return

FNATASTIC STAFF and LOCAL MANAGERS....but the KOA Campground itself needs investment compared to other KOA's we have stayed at. #1, could you pave the driveway entry and the paths around the campground? It is the dustiest entry that just makes for a pretty poor first impression. #2 The campsides are marginal. I would reference Levenworth with nice concrete pad that are level & great hook ups.

Great site right on the river and a really nice campground overall. Only suggestion is to switch over to fire rings in every site, rather than the cement slab with tip down grate.

We stayed in the deluxe cabin and it exceeded our expectations as did the campground! Staff were so nice and the campground was clean. We can not wait to go back!

Typical Journey KOA, tired around the edges. Well-worn. Staff was nice and helpful. We had driven all day from West Glacier, so just glad to pull in, set up, and rest. On a corporate level note, ALL Journeys should take a good look at the details of their bath & shower rooms. What do the ceiling tiles look like? Has anyone cleaned the corners, the drains, the ceiling vents, etc? I check those!

Stayed in site 7 with 41 ft 5th wheel. Easy in, a bit tight getting out due to fence for patio fence opposite our site. Fairly level gravel site. Quiet and peaceful. Close to town.

This was our first stay at a KOA. Our daughter recommended. It was fantastic! So clean and nice. The office folks were so helpful. Def. Staying again and finding more KOA's on our trip! THANK YOU!!!

the ground is not level. There are not enough grass on the ground too. The last two days, we are missing the trash dump too close to us.

We arrived late past the 10pm check in and the staff was still there to show us to our wagon. Very friendly staff. The bathrooms on one end of the campground are private stalls, which is super nice.

Awesome and very hard working and "Customer First" staff, they made all the difference...spacious tent sites, clean bathrooms with sanitizers....and just a very beautiful site.

Last minute reservation request due to travel changes. They were VERY accommodating and helpful. Large Mostly level gravel sites. River access for tubing/floating. Clean & tidy. Definitely stay here again.

Great experience! Everyone at front desk charged phones for our family since our tent sight didn't have electricity. Hot showers, clean bathrooms. Green grass and shade trees at our site. Love the town and river.

Perfect autumn mid week getaway, we practically had the place to ourselves. Staff was amazing, bathrooms were spotless, we couldn't have found a better place to spend a few days away from home.

We stayed a the cabin, it's one of the cleanest koa we stayed in, very well maintained and managed, the toilets and showers are super clean. Checked in staffs are super friendly too.
