2 weeks - 3 different sites. It’s very dusty. And the hookups aren’t in the normal places - I’m assuming tree roots were a problem. All of the park staff was wonderful!!!!! So helpful. Thank you!

Place was packed, but the staff there were nice and I was a walk-up so we were just pleased to get in. Shower and bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

Winthrop KOA is a yearly vacation stay for us and even with the COVID virus, we enjoyed out time. The new owners have made improvements and additions. The only problem was the check in time. I can understand 3:00 for cabins as those need to be cleaned but not for RV sites. Three o'clock is the hottest part of the day and a little tough on senior citizens. Keep up the good work, see you next year.

KOA’s are overpriced compared to other campgrounds. You were selling green firewood in 95 degree weather during a county fire ban. I know you get a exemption but that is irresponsible and nonsensical. It was smoky and hard to breathe when our neighbors lit a smoky fire that blew right in our windows. Wood fires are very polluting to environment and quite obtrusive in a crowded campground.

We had a wonderful time. The campground is Scenic. The river is beautiful and peaceful! Any issues that came up the staff was there to help. Anything we were unsatisfied about the campground went out of there way to fix immediately.

My daughter and I decided to extend our camping vacation on a whim and instead of dealing with a state campground we decided to treat ourselves and upgrade to KOA...and we are very glad we did! We will be back and are even thinking about becoming members as we are planning a Yellowstone trip next year!

Such a wonderful time. Beautiful campground, super clean restroom/shower facilities and cabin was perfect!! All campground staff were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back next year. It was a lovely experience and we enjoyed every minute of it.

It is a nice clean park. But the price is to high so that's why it didn't get a perfect score. 75.00 a night is to much.

Great large sites and good bathroom access. Sad that the pool was closed but getting to the river was easy with all the access spots. We had a great time.

It was a wonderful stay! The staff were friendly and helpful and the campsite was perfect. The only thing that would have made it better is if there was a grill over the fire which would have made cooking a lot easier.

since the new owners have taken over, there is some pros and cons. Cleaning is subpar nowadays and with covid, this was a huge disappointment. Grass used to be kept nicely and green, but with the new owners, it is not as attended to. New angle parking has been added in old tent sites and is nice. Charge for site reservation and early checkin is a huge letdown. staff were pleasant and friendly

First timer. Loved it! Great for families. We had a tent spot next to the river. Very busy campsite, but quiet time made it easy to sleep. Very clean. Would like if there were more shower/bathrooms, but didn't have to wait too long. Can't wait to come back.

Site T2 needs a sign posted saying no river access... way to many people coming and going through our site.

Loved the covered wagon but it was filled with tiny sugar ants. Also there was a male employee who was coughing repeatedly but had his mask around his neck. Disappointed with that!!

The stay was fine it's just not what it used to be. Used to be a family owned business that ran it with heart now its just a business that's trying to make money. Very expensive, so many rules, no grace.

Most things were closed due to covid, like the pool, playground, etc and they still charged full price. I think that is ridiculous!. Ended up leaving a day early because the kids were bored. Have been taking my family here for 15 years and this was our last year. This KOA was recently bought by new owners and just hasn't been the same. The original owners were all about you. Not anymore

Sites are too close. Easy check in. I’d rather stay at a state park with nice grass & large sites. Love Winthrop. Nothing wrong with our stay just prefer other type of campsites

Great location, large sites with plenty of shade. All of the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we were well taken care of. Special kudos to Dan who lent me a water hose when mine ruptured. We definitely want to return once the pool and other amenities open again.

Perfect autumn mid week getaway, we practically had the place to ourselves. Staff was amazing, bathrooms were spotless, we couldn't have found a better place to spend a few days away from home.

We stayed a the cabin, it's one of the cleanest koa we stayed in, very well maintained and managed, the toilets and showers are super clean. Checked in staffs are super friendly too.
