Great place. Friendly staff. Easy to get in and out of. Right on the Methow River. Able to soak after a long hot drive in the cool refreshing water.

The campground is well-maintained by a friendly staff. The river access was great. The staff is obviously working to keep the camp as safe as possible during a pandemic (mask requirements, obviously clean facilities, disinfectant in the bathrooms, etc.). We had a very relaxing, socially distanced stay!

Not as clean as when we’ve stayed in the past. Our cabin was full of sugar ants. My sister’s cabin was swarming with bees. Several staff members were rude and not very helpful. Pool was closed due to Covid, but floating the river was fun. The kids liked the camp store.

Weather was a very hot, so we really appreciated the ac, microwave and refrigerator. Loved the bed without the high side pole we have found in all other koa's we have stayed in. As we are both in our 80's doing the river activities is not possible, so touring the country side during the heat of the day and sitting in the swing after the temp had gone down was wonderful . Thanks for a great stay

Very clean, beautiful spot next to the river and surprisingly quiet and peaceful considering how full it was. Staff was very very friendly and I was surprised how well-stocked and convenient their convenient store. 10/10 would stay here again.

We always have a great time when we stay in Winthrop. Unfortunately, this time we were invaded by ants! They were everywhere in our campsite and got into our camper. We spend a lot of our time that we should have been relaxing killing ants.

Unfortunately my husband had a medical situation where our physician recommended that we return home to be close to a hospital. KOA would not refund or credit us anything (paid in advance for three nights, had to leave after one). We had to spend $210 for one night of camping. We will not be staying there again and recommend that others find a more understanding campground.

We had such a good time. Even though the pool was closed due to covid, we were still able to enjoy the river! The people working here were so friendly! Our kids loved Dan. He came by our camp before we left and showed them his bird. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

We love staying at this KOA. The grounds and restroom are always clean, staff are friendly and helpful, and the location on the river can’t be beat. We look forward to our stay every year!

We had a great long weekend at the Winthrop KOA. It wasn’t our first visit, and won’t be our last. A little normalcy in a COVID world. It was too bad the pool and playground were shut down, but obviously no choice there. We enjoyed our time and all of the staff are always very friendly and helpful

Packed in like sardines, dusty as heck. No great river access. Tried to get a later check out time so we didn’t have to wake a sleeping toddler...and that wasn’t allowed. Probably won’t recommend of book here again.

Busy campground in a lovely location. Our site was a patio RV site with a hot tub and we really loved the privacy fencing. The campground host with a long ponytail was grumpy. But everyone else was very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms/showers in our area of the park were limited and we had to wait long periods for access to them. Access to the riverfront was limited as well. We will visit again!

Fantastic site. Beautiful next to river. Floating on tubes or kayaks. Tents, cabins or RV whatever your cup of tea. We lived it so much we extended two days. Perfect mix of sun and shade.

We stayed in the Wagon and would definitely stay in it again. As we get older, it was just more comfortable in a real bed. The site was a bit tight. We wanted to put up a sun canopy over the picnic table, but it would have ended over the fire pit and we didn't feel that was safe. Also for the number of sites there should have been more than only two restrooms.

Our stay was very nice and i felt that the staff took care of the restroom areas very well keeping it stocked with sanitizer inside and outside. During these challenging times that was greatly appreciated.

The camping cabins and grounds were wonderful. Unfortunately, several amenities were closed due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

Wonderful! We've been camping here almost every summer for the past 12 years. The staff is friendly, the weather is beautiful and the river is exquisite. The bathrooms are kept very clean and the store is immaculate.

For us, with no kids, it was not the type of campground that we prefer. We were concerned about the lack of adherence to the State COVID-19 requirements as there were lots of people at a camp Site with no social distancing. Adherence to use of face masks was essentially non existence

We’ve stayed before but its never felt so crowded. Site 53 barely fit our car+2 person tent. The next site was SO close that we could clearly hear their conversation until 2am & the smoke from their fire blew straight into our site/tent all night (2 days later my lungs still feel like I smoked several packs). Sites along the river are the only way to go. This was my first time staying at a KOA so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Sites are fairly close together with next to no privacy. Bathroom facilities I expected to be in better condition considering the cost of a tent site. Dust from the gravel road was also a constant annoyance, they do spray the road to help with the dust but not often enough

It was perfect, we stayed at a wagon and really enjoyed it. The campground is close to a river, and it's nice. It was clean and the restroom were clean at all times. Service was kind and nice all 3 days.

Friendly staff and well maintained campground. We were easily able use the spot as our "base camp" for adventures around the Methow Valley!

Really liked the large amount of space between sites, loved the indiviual bathrooms. Nice to have the river close to us so we could enjoy getting in the water when it was hot. It also had a nice amount of trees for shade. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Thanks.

Lovely KOA with a lot of trees for shade and grass that they water all day. River runs right next to KOA which was a lifesaver during our stay in the heatwave. Facilities spotless and staff all great. Convenient to town center long walk on busy road. Grocery store very walkable if you choose.

Had site 22, next to the septic that smelled bad as well as it being in full sun. On the opposite side of the bathrooms was unoccupied during our stay so I feel that 22 should be the last possible site to go. We joined koa based on our last stay there and was disappointed in the site we received this time. I wish that when you book, you can pick the site without additional cost.

The 3:00 pm rule for check in is too late. My family had to pointlessly ride around in a hot car for a few hours because we got there at 1. There should be exceptions at least when the park isn't very full like it was when we were there.

The tent site we reserved was blocked by a RV that was assigned the neighboring site. The office was very friendly and quickly addressed our concern allowing us to pick a different site along the River. Great customer service from the front office.

Amazing customer service on phones and in person a big + for me. Great location and clean site and bathrooms! Wish the pool was open with sign up sheets to make it Covid safe for now.

Perfect autumn mid week getaway, we practically had the place to ourselves. Staff was amazing, bathrooms were spotless, we couldn't have found a better place to spend a few days away from home.

We stayed a the cabin, it's one of the cleanest koa we stayed in, very well maintained and managed, the toilets and showers are super clean. Checked in staffs are super friendly too.
