This is our favorite KOA campground. The campground is very clean, in a peaceful setting by the river. The camp hosts are friendly and often go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Mostly Good! We felt the park too crowded w/children and also bikers grouping without any personal spacing or masking. Didn't feel safe no Covid 19 restrictions. Also the 10pm quiet time doesnt seem to be enforced, kids still screaming until 11pm. SUNDAY much better and calmer. Worst for me, lavatories too far from my campsite and little shade during hottest part of day. Pick your spot carefully

Very dry, dusty and dirty. Sewer dump for each camp spot is in you neighbors section. Very poorly designed.

I've been staying there for almost 30 years in the same campsite. The new improvements are great. And, I really appreciate being able to make my reservations a year in advance. However, the new bath house could use more just toilets. Hardly anyone uses the laundry room. Maybe it could be converted into more toilets/sinks rooms. Or, build another bath house at the other end of the park.

Cabin was clean and the site was clean as well. Management maintained a drive through to ensure safety for all.

Spacious camp sites. Friendly staff. Worked their magic to accommodate us getting our group camped together. Floating the river is such a bonus! Love this KOA!

Tho the kids were disappointed that the pool and playground were closed due to COVID, we still had a wonderful stay! The cabins are perfect for a quick getaway! And we all enjoyed Dave on his walks with Josephine!

Spots are too close together and way to close to the road. I also didn’t expect the camp ground to be full to capacity with Covid going on. And was surprised there was a huge family reunion that was allowed to go on I’m the group gathering area during Covid phase 2.

Been going to the Winthrop KOA for years. This is the driest we have ever seen it. Too much dirt. The new owners need to work on the watering and bring in more gravel for the roads. I’m afraid if they don’t water, the whole place will turn into a dirt field. Owners are very nice and handled the COVID requirements well. They just need to water more.

Neighbors we really loud well beyond quite time. It was really, really dusty and we wish something could be done to keep that down, especially when try to cook and eat! No one likes gritty teeth and food! The staff were super friendly and helpful. We will come back and hopefully the dirt roads won’t be an issue.

Good experience. Our section (30-amp with water but no sewer hook-up) was not crowded and the green space was lovely. Problem with several dogs barking & running all over the place from a neighboring motorhome in full sight of the office.. Perhaps that is allowed but we wish it weren't. We are grateful for the opportunity to check-in without indoor contact -- thanks so much!

The staff was very nice and professional. Bathrooms were clean and the grounds maintained. That said, it was pricey for a campground, much less one without full services.

We always love staying at this KOA. The only complaint we ever have is how dusty it is in the KOA. We would love to see the roads within the KOA paved one day. Other than that we love it and will be back every year!

Our first annual family camping trip. Planned last year.....floated the Methow river, 3 family breakfasts and dinners. 17 people total with 4 generations. Great campsite for this type event.

The spaces for tents were spacious. The KOA is laid out in a way to encourage a neighborhood feel. Great walking loops, easy access to bathrooms and showers, and the river have multiple access points for those who aren't staying directly on the river. If the owner was to make one CAPEX plan - creating a larger beach approach and a few dock/stairs down the river bank might be nice.

Great stay. Pool and playground were closed due to COVID, so that was kind of a bummer. But the staff were friendly, bathrooms were clean, being able to float the river right from the KOA campground was awesome!! We parked the car at the park in town and got right out at the KOA. If you get a chance, stay in a Constoga Wagon. They are so amazing!. We can't wait to come again next year!!

Lovely campground. My only complaint was that very few folks wore masks in the public bathrooms, so larger signage with the expectation of mask wearing as much as possible would be great until we are passed this epidemic. I was very concerned about using the restrooms for this reason throughout my stay.

Campground is nice but the cabin is not adequately equipped for a family. There was not a enough pots/pans. There were no knives for cutting. We got 2 chairs around the fire pit. We paid over $500 to rent this cabin (k301). The cabin itself was nice. I had even emailed in, if they hd told me I have brought stuff from home. I was told it was fully equipped and no need to bring anything.

Perfect autumn mid week getaway, we practically had the place to ourselves. Staff was amazing, bathrooms were spotless, we couldn't have found a better place to spend a few days away from home.

We stayed a the cabin, it's one of the cleanest koa we stayed in, very well maintained and managed, the toilets and showers are super clean. Checked in staffs are super friendly too.
