The sprinklers were on in my site when I arrived. I had to go back to the office and ask them to shut them off. Even then, my site had standing water for a while. The maintenance man who was there was rude. The front desk people could also have been more friendly. It’s a great location but the customer service could stand some improvement.

Everything was impressively clean and the staff was so kind and family friendly. I was very impressed by the new bathroom facilities and the cabin was charming and comfortable. Looking forward to staying again!

We stayed in Tent site. Long walk to restrooms. The small restroom building should be near tents, not giant RV's. Friendly staff.

Got surrounded at end of stay and they had boats, extra cars, kids running thru our site, parked in our campsite and another family behind us. Very frustrating. Asked them to move, they did but another car in our spot in the morning. Counted 26 people/kids in 2-3 sites. Stayed here 4-5 times and this was the first disappointment.

The spaces are very large, it’s on the river and has been very well cared for. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.

Our stay is always good. They take exceptional care and pride in what they have for the public to come and enjoy. A very peaceful settings amongst the trees, and nearby water. Every once in a while you just might see a deer.

We enjoyed our stay despite the Covid restrictions. The staff was awesome. We were spoiled in the penthouse. The fenced space worked well having a dog with us but seemed a little fishbowl like. Would have been fune without the fenced yard. I wasn't expecting it to be so new. Very cozy, clean and comfortable. I do think it is priced a little high for what it is. Enjoyed our time overall.

Nice big camp spot under a big tree. Dog run. Close to groceries and town(Winthrop).

Too many kids riding bikes in and around our site. Sites are way to close together and should not be facing each other. There wasn’t even a modicum of privacy. Trash was in our site when we checked in, staff members should do a better of job of prepping sites and educating parents on park rules regarding children’s behavior, won’t be back.

Check in people were very friendly, upbeat. Pleasant quiet campground. My tent site was being watered so they changed it so I wouldn't have to set up on a wet site. Doing a good job of staying on the cleaning thing. Liked being near the river. I would go again.

We were in site 62. Large patio with massive Mountain View. However patio was small, I could knock on my neighbors window from the table. The patio table and chairs are extreme high quality and super comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and river access was awesome. Only here for one night. Felt a bit over priced for one night stay especially with how small the site was.

The Owner & Staff are so helpful and so nice. We’ve found a lot of new and upgraded sites since last year and there is so much to do for the entire family.

We always have a great time at Winthrop KOA. Only downside is the dust from the dirt roads... especially near the entrance. There were a handful of vehicles that did not obey the speed limit which made the dust worse.

Bathrooms were clean, they were lacking toilet paper refills several days in a row, had to request it be filled. If the accommodations are closed like the pool and playground why aren't you reducing your fees, even if it's by $5 it shows you are not greedy. Everyone was very kind and nice.

This was the right place to take my firework phobic dog! The park was spotless and quiet at 10:00. I didn’t hear one explosion on the 4th, Nelly and I thank you!

We had a wonderful time there. Watching all the kids and young parents use the river. The weather was good, the wind always helps with the normal 90 degree days. We only had to deal with 82. We'll be back. Thank you

It is always a great stay here. The surroundings with all the nature, the facilities and the staff are all nice. Some nice upgrades have been made so it is nice to see.

Small camping spots, dry grass and too much money for what you get. We expected it to be nicer. We would stay at the state park nearby next time which has big grassy areas for groups.

We had a great time-as usual. It was unfortunate that all the amenities like the pool, playground, bike rentals, and shuttle to float the river were closed due to COVID but we had a great time anyway.

Great tent site along the river. Very helpful and friendly staff. It's probably related to covid but I miss having the closer dumpster locations. Also - there were a few friendly campers who stopped by our site for a visit who were not wearing face masks. We had to ask them to give us a little social distnce or to wear a mask if they wanted to socialize. A note in the office about that might help.

The Staff at this KOA were super friendly and very helpful. Even though the amenities were closed we had a wonderful time; biking, rafting and enjoying the surroundings.

There needs to be speed bumps or more signage on the road with the dump station. Cars fly through there throwing dust and it’s so dangerous because the sites are so close to the road. Other than that the staff is amazing and we will be back!

This was our second year staying at the Winthrop koa. Ots close to town, it has a peaceful atmosphere and a river to float. We will be back next year.

I have stayed here in the past a lot, loved it. I'm wanting to pick it back up again and continue to come to Winthrop more. But this visit was a little unpleasant due to loud music playing across from me felt like I came to a late evening concert instead of peaceful family camping. No one in office to handle situation, was closed. Seemed other campers didn't enjoy it either.

We apologize that the other campers were not considerate. We have a call box and an after hours number for you to contact for these types of incidents after the store closes.

Your staff who were working in the office or Taking care of the park were friendly and nice. The park is clean and the bathroom as well but there was always a line. However, I just wonder there is no noise control at nighttime. The big party near us who still playing guitar and playing music after 11:00pm.

We are sorry to hear you experienced a horrible smell. We clean the bathrooms regularly so if there is an unpleasant smell between those trips, please alert the staff so that they can do something about it.

Outside of the covid stuff are stay was great. None of the amenities were available so staying at the koa wasn’t really worth it. You pay for the activities. I would have liked to see the price reduced simply because the koa activities were not available. Facility was clean. Bathrooms were very clean.

We have camped here several summers now and it is a great spot. The disappointing part was that none of the amenities were open due to covid. We payed the full price to have access to the main store/building and the restrooms. It would have been great to have some kind of discount due to the closures, even a small gesture of not charging for the kids to camp with us would have been appreciated.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed. While the Covid closures are out of our hands, we have a variety of crafts and activities the children can do at their site. The mining is available and the Nearby lakes and trails are all open. If cost is a concern, the staff will be happy to let you know which weekdays and off season dates are available at a lower price.

Loved this KOA campground! We stayed in a cabin, bathroom/shower area was super nice & friendly staff did great with COVID prevautions.

Perfect autumn mid week getaway, we practically had the place to ourselves. Staff was amazing, bathrooms were spotless, we couldn't have found a better place to spend a few days away from home.

We stayed a the cabin, it's one of the cleanest koa we stayed in, very well maintained and managed, the toilets and showers are super clean. Checked in staffs are super friendly too.
