I went when the nearby forest was on fire. I called before I traveled to inquire if it was safe. Was told a little smoke on the morning but that it dissipated in the afternoon. This was not my experience. Really bad air quality and the camp was empty. Everyone had left. I wish the team had been more forthcoming with the true reality of the situation. Felt like they where just trying to make money.

Amazing ! Just be close to the river hear the river running to fall sleep, wake up and look how the sun rise on the river, have a little private river space, I can’t wait to made reservations and back again, thank you KOA .

We are Winthrop residents that are under level 3 evacuation. Our first relocation site was the KOA campground. The staff made our stay as friendly and positive as possible under the circumstances. We are grateful to this well-run, beautifully tended operation.

I have never been charged a fee for early checking. Checkin was 3. We got there at 2:15, 45 minutes early. Furthermore, I was not informed of the fee except by e-mail, which I didn't read until after we arrived. I would have waited until 3 if I had been informed of the early checkin fee. I find KOA's, in general, to be very expensive for what you get, and the hidden fees are irritating.

We did not get lead to our campsite. The dumpster was a hike away. Most of the KOA's that we stay have a more convenient trash removal system.

We didn’t give 5 stars because the $200 per night deluxe cabin rental was just too pricey for not so great bunk beds and a microwave. That said-the campground was nice. And the pool. We had a great front porch with a gas grill for cooking. Air conditioner and fridge. The little store has everything you forgot! Great staff! We did enjoy it overall and still rate it a solid 4 stars. From Seattle

I enjoyed my stay. Staff was friendly, gounds and restrooms were clean. We stayed in a covered wagon and it was amazing!! The only thing that would make it perfect for me would be food service: breakfast and/or dinner.

Love this place!! Total bummer about the tube bus, but I totally get it. One request......can you please look into getting some kind of cover over the dog run? Nothing big and fancy, but for sun or rain it would be great. Thank you.

I liked it, but I wish the sites were more secluded. It's too open and we won't be staying there again. We liked the cleanliness, bathrooms/showers were nicely kept, grounds were clean, lots were spacious, but absolutely no privacy.

I had a tent site right next to the covered wagons and it was on too much of a slant. I kept waking up throughout the night because I was sliding. Besides for this it was a great place to camp! Very clean and nice staff!!!

Wow is an understatement. We can not believe how friendly an accommodating the staff were! The all made us feel welcomed and truly took the time to get to know you. Best experience in such a long time, THANK YOU! It was our first KOA trip and we have already booked the next one. Wonderful site, beautiful views and very clean.

We LOVED out stay in the covered wagon. It was spacious, so cute and very comfortable for our family of four. The kids loved it! They also could not stop playing on the jumping pad and in the swimming pool. The store was well priced and stocked with everything you'd need. We enjoyed the free coffee and hot chocolate in the mornings. The staff were extremely friendly and it was so clean!

We love KOAs. The downside to this one was having the bathroom on the other side of the RV area making tent campers have to walk around the RVers to get to the bathroom. Shower stalls were a bit small & curtains a little "yucky" on the bottoms. Other than that and the trailer next door in a tent site running generator all afternoon & evening, our stay was good. The employees were all wonderful,

Great time had by all. Pool was open and kept clean, sprinklers running throughout the day to keep the grass green around the sites, clean restrooms and showers! Had a great time, we will be back!

Perfect autumn mid week getaway, we practically had the place to ourselves. Staff was amazing, bathrooms were spotless, we couldn't have found a better place to spend a few days away from home.

We stayed a the cabin, it's one of the cleanest koa we stayed in, very well maintained and managed, the toilets and showers are super clean. Checked in staffs are super friendly too.
