I went when the nearby forest was on fire. I called before I traveled to inquire if it was safe. Was told a little smoke on the morning but that it dissipated in the afternoon. This was not my experience. Really bad air quality and the camp was empty. Everyone had left. I wish the team had been more forthcoming with the true reality of the situation. Felt like they where just trying to make money.

We didn’t give 5 stars because the $200 per night deluxe cabin rental was just too pricey for not so great bunk beds and a microwave. That said-the campground was nice. And the pool. We had a great front porch with a gas grill for cooking. Air conditioner and fridge. The little store has everything you forgot! Great staff! We did enjoy it overall and still rate it a solid 4 stars. From Seattle

I enjoyed my stay. Staff was friendly, gounds and restrooms were clean. We stayed in a covered wagon and it was amazing!! The only thing that would make it perfect for me would be food service: breakfast and/or dinner.

We LOVED out stay in the covered wagon. It was spacious, so cute and very comfortable for our family of four. The kids loved it! They also could not stop playing on the jumping pad and in the swimming pool. The store was well priced and stocked with everything you'd need. We enjoyed the free coffee and hot chocolate in the mornings. The staff were extremely friendly and it was so clean!

I asked for help with bees and nothing was done. Two days later my neighbor said something and was helped right away. Asked to move site’s and was told the cleaners wouldn’t have time.

Wonderful amenities and location on the river. The staff was incredible. Shout out to Terry!! I really enjoyed the cabin's porch swing with a view of the river. It was so nice to have my dog with me and a designated area for him to be off leash close-by. The shower/toilet combo restrooms were clean and accessible (always looking for places that my disabled aunt could easily visit on future trips).

Way too many dogs. I have been going to Winthrop koa for over 20 years and it has literally turned into a dog park. Every year we witness a dog attacking other dogs, dogs barking at all hours of the night, and just dogs everywhere.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We require all dogs to be on a leash while in the park and not left attended. Aggressive dogs are asked to leave the park. Please report all issues to the staff.

We absolutely loved the park, the cabin we stayed in, the river next to the park and the amazing staff . We have already told friends and family they should treat themselves to a relaxing stay at this fabulous Koa!

Too hot to sleep in the cabins at night, we ended our stay early without any complaints. Kids loved the rides and the blow up bouncy thing. Staff was AMAZING! It was cleaner than the last few times we’ve stayed.

It was a VERY hot couple days... we only stayed one of the two reserved nights in the campin kabin because we didn't sleep at all. The bathrooms were very busy because the campground was full but that wasn't an issue. the bathrooms were clean friday afternoon but by saturday morning they were trashed. probably needed a cleaning late-nite or early morning again. staff was great and friendly!!

Our stay was better than I imagined! No complaints at all. The amenities were plentiful for our family and ALL of the staff were amazing- especially Cheyan! Thanks for a wonderful time!

It was a blast staying here. The staff is very nice. The bathrooms are extremely clean and very nice for a campground. The pool was nice and clean as well. Beautiful views all around and a shop incase you forget something on your trip. Great place for kids. The playground is awesome. We will be back for sure !

My second stay in just the last few weeks. They spend a lot of time and effort maintaining the campground. Bathrooms were immaculate. Staff is always nice. A bit busy on the weekend but the crowds were respectful. Definitely will return.

What a great place for a family! My kids loved the pool and the jump pad. It was a safe place for them to ride their bikes. The bathrooms were so clean. All in all… We really enjoyed our stay!

We keep coming back! This time we stayed in the big deluxe cabin [2 befroom + 2 toilets) and it was awesome! The AC unit was the same one I recently had installed at home and it is a great AC/heat/dehumidifier unit. Grounds are awesome, clean and the staff super is super friendly and helpful. Store always well stockex with essentials and souvenirs. Thankyou and see you in September!

My conf # is 7978873. My stay was originally 6-10-21 thru 6-11-21. I added another day 6-9-21 in person on 6-9-21. After adding that day the desk attendant told me that the pool was not in working condition ( pump was broken). I was not notified of the pool not working , could of called me. ruined my grand daughters b-day. what are you going to do to make it right?

What a fun idea! Those Covered wagons are so fun. Privacy provided by a partial fence. Comfortable for all, bunks and large bed. Friendly and kind staff, an awesome stay! (Restroom and shower stalls are compact)

Great service, ameneties, and facilities. We really enjoyed not only the campground but the people working there. The shuttle service trips into town were prompt and drivers were very friendly and informative. On a scale of 1 to 100 we would give them 120%.

Our group had a wonderful time! The staff were all friendly, accommodating and passionate about providing a great camping experience. The grounds/facilities were clean and neat. The check in/out process was seamless. Get out/go explore!

This year was unlike the last 9 years we stayed. Terry the new security at the KOA approached us with a scolding, by night 4 it was highly irritating, if you walked around the campground you saw groups doing exactly what we were doing, sitting around a campfire listening to music ( not loud at all). I would reconsider his approach with your loyal customer in the future to avoid loss of reservation

Perfect autumn mid week getaway, we practically had the place to ourselves. Staff was amazing, bathrooms were spotless, we couldn't have found a better place to spend a few days away from home.

We stayed a the cabin, it's one of the cleanest koa we stayed in, very well maintained and managed, the toilets and showers are super clean. Checked in staffs are super friendly too.
