Amazing camp ground. We loved the super site with the hot tub and fenced yard! Staff was amazing as well. Very helpful and accommodating! Can't wait to visit again �

The location is excellent, close to town and on the river. Friendly staff, clean campground. Why 3*? The internet is HORRIBLE. Like 1995 horrible. Never over 1mb in speed, and generally 1/2 that. Wifi signal strength adequate, so it's the actual internet speed that is terrible. Had to work on projects and burned through my cell data. Could not stream anything at night. Sadly, dealbreaker.

Sorry to hear the wifi is a dealbreaker. Unfortunately, the wifi's speed is not under our control due to our remote location. This information is noted on our website. For people needing a stronger connection, use the tables in front of the office or use one of the nearby drop in work zones.

Park was clean and well taken care of. Staff was very friendly and helpful... We were concerned about the fire/smoke prior to going. Calling the park the staff were very open and honest about the fire/smoke conditions and the improving conditions. They also helped, due to the fire(s) and cancellations of others to upgrade/move our pull through location without any problem.

We were evacuated from another campground due to a fire. The employees opened for us after hours and found our group a spot. Extremely friendly employees!

The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. They even offered us a late check-out ! Who else does that? Reasonable rates during the high season Park is located right on the banks of the River !

We had a great stay, there was lots to do, my kids were entertained the whole time. Everything was clean and well maintained and the staff was very friendly and professional.

What a great campground and staff. Loved our deluxe patio site with a private fenced yard and hot tub. Booked for next summer for 4 days. See you next year.

Daniel in the office was amazing. Large mature trees and good shade. Plenty of access to the Methow river that runs next to park. Stayed in space 14. Couldn’t leave toad hooked up due to placement of power & sewer. Lots of space between sites. Grass and picnic tables. Bathroom clean. Did not use showers. Pool open until 8:00pm

We absolute loved this years stay! All those who were afraid of the smoke from the wild fires in the north cascades avoided the campground and missed out big time! Weather was fantastic and smoke wasn’t bad at all…. We will be back again next year! 4th year here ! Love these folks!!!

Very quiet in town. I am assuming due to the forest fires. The air quality was great and our time floating the Methow was very enjoyable.

Because of the smoke, we were only able to stay one of our eleven nights at the Winthrop KOA. Daniel was very accommodating to us, blowing up the jump pad for our grandchildren even though we were the only ones there. He was also very understanding regarding the smoke and the possible health hazard that it could be to us. We look forward to returning to the Winthrop KOA next year.

We called KOA looking for a place to land after being evacuated from two different homes due to wildfire and Stuart not only invited us to check in early (we were evacuted the second time at night so slept in our rig in front of a friend's house) but also assigned us a site that would allow us to extend should we need it. This consideration, on top of a discount for evacuees, goes above & beyond!

We are Winthrop residents that are under level 3 evacuation. Our first relocation site was the KOA campground. The staff made our stay as friendly and positive as possible under the circumstances. We are grateful to this well-run, beautifully tended operation.

I have never been charged a fee for early checking. Checkin was 3. We got there at 2:15, 45 minutes early. Furthermore, I was not informed of the fee except by e-mail, which I didn't read until after we arrived. I would have waited until 3 if I had been informed of the early checkin fee. I find KOA's, in general, to be very expensive for what you get, and the hidden fees are irritating.

We did not get lead to our campsite. The dumpster was a hike away. Most of the KOA's that we stay have a more convenient trash removal system.

Love this place!! Total bummer about the tube bus, but I totally get it. One request......can you please look into getting some kind of cover over the dog run? Nothing big and fancy, but for sun or rain it would be great. Thank you.

right near the Methow River. Good views. Lots of kids using the pool. Friendly and helpful staff, particularly the people cleaning the sites and watering.

Perfect autumn mid week getaway, we practically had the place to ourselves. Staff was amazing, bathrooms were spotless, we couldn't have found a better place to spend a few days away from home.

We stayed a the cabin, it's one of the cleanest koa we stayed in, very well maintained and managed, the toilets and showers are super clean. Checked in staffs are super friendly too.
