Wytheville KOA Holiday General Information

Our RV and tent site check-in time is 2:00 pm and check-out is 12:00 noon. Check-in time for all lodging is 3pm, and check-out is 11am. Early check-in and late check-out may be accommodated. Please check with the office for availability.

Before you cancel, have you considered moving your reservation to a future date? If circumstances change and you can't make your camping trip but would like to keep the reservation, you can always try calling the campground and requesting that they move it to the future. That way, you can enjoy the stay at a later date and avoid a cancellation fee.

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations may not be accepted.
Cancellation Deadlines:

• RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  
• Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival. 
  

Cancellation Details:

• Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
  
• Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  
• No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
  
• No refunds may be given on or after the arrival date.
  
• Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card.
  
• The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
  
• Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA for details.
  

Our camp store is open daily, from 9am-8pm in season. Friday and Saturday until 10pm (summer months only).
Store hours 9am-7pm daily, from November through mid-March.
*The night box is always available after hours. Hours may vary in the off-season due to inclement weather.

This is not a problem for our after-hours guests. We will leave a site map with your name on it and directions near our night registration box for those with a reservation. You will also find an information sheet attached to the map with general campground info with an after-hours number. As always, no reservation is needed. Simply grab an envelope for an available site, fill in the information and drop it in our night slot. Please give us a call if you need any assistance.

Our pool is open every day (weather permitting), Memorial Day to Labor Day. Hours are 10:00 am - 8:00 pm for all campers to enjoy. Come and enjoy our pool featuring a double water slide with water lounge and kiddie area. Our beautiful pool furniture and cool mountain breezes will be sure to relax you on a hot summer day.

We welcome your guests to be our guests. Please inform the office of their visit and request a car pass for their vehicle. All visitors must register with the office and pay a day use fee.

We enjoy having your beloved four-legged family members around. There is never a charge at an RV site, but we do require a cleaning fee in cabins, per pet, per day. Bring the family dog to enjoy our pet playground and stretch those legs after a day of driving. Please remember to pick up after your pet and keep them leashed at all times. Also, please do not leave them tied up unattended.

For the enjoyment of all our guests, our quiet hours are from 10pm-7am. Please refrain from any loud noise during this time. Please, no generators allowed. Please call the after-hours number for assistance when the office is closed.

We offer a limited number of golf carts available for rent. Please check with office for availability or book online. If you want to bring your own golf cart, we gladly allow your golf cart; no ATVs or side by sides permitted. Please notify the campground if bringing a golf cart; carts must be in safe working order. Carts can only be driven after dark if they have front and rear lights. Must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license. All state and local rules apply. Must bring proof of insurance for the golf cart.

The bowling and Family fun center is open daily during the regular season. Bowling and Family fun center is closed during winter months. Please check with store for details.

Greetings, I'm James, and along with my father, we are your  owner/operators of the Wytheville KOA Holiday!

We jumped at the opportunity to not only work together for the first time in 20 years, but to also realize a long-time dream of owning a campground!

We've made great improvements and continue to do so each season. We've upgraded the playground equipment, added new games in the Bowling and Family Fun Center, installed new regulation bowling lanes with automatic scoring, refinished the pool, upgraded the fixtures in the cottages, rebuilt many of the RV sites, with so much more to come.

Come spend a day, or a week, enjoying our stocked pond, Bowling and Family Fun Center, the AOK Cafe, and even a playground for the beloved family dog!
