Looks to be a great campground. Lots of things to do when the clubhouse is open. Came here for a night on my way down south. Two ladies that checked me in were not very friendly and basically just gave me my map with lot assigned. Asked about the area but got little response. As for my lot, totally empty area and yet was put farthest from the bathhouse, couldn’t understand the reason for that

We only stayed 1 night. The campground was very clean and the office stayed open a few minutes longer knowing we were arriving just after closing. We will stay longer next time

Glad this KOA is open through the winter months. Was cold, but fun way to meet up with out-of-town family.

Just stayed in route back to Wilmington NC KOA from Ohio. Also stayed on the way to Ohio on February 3rd. Wytheville is the halfway point of my trip. Everything was fine. No problems. Staff very attentive, accommodating & friendly.

we only stay here on our way south in January or February. We never hook up to anything except electric because of the cold and we don't want our water lines, hoses, etc. to freeze. It is sad that they do not offer a different rate for those of us just passing thru during the winter and NOT using their utilities. We have recommended this park to our kids and they stay during the summer months

The campground is very neat and clean and easy to get into and out. Staff was very polite and helpful. Store was well stocked and attractive.

The staff was really nice and helpful, the amenities available were way above average. Camp sight was extremely level and large. Bathrooms and all buildings were maintained and cleaned to a high level. We will be making plans to return again. I would recommend this KOA to anyone.

We have been camping for 50+ years and the last 4 years as full timers. This is the first KOA that I would recommend. The sites were large and easy to get in and out of especially with a 48' RV. We were not squeezed in like sardines. Thank You.

Since our stay was just a 1 night pass through in January, we didn't get to utilize everything this KOA had to offer. However, every employee we spoke with was extremely helpful and polite! Will definitely plan on coming back!!

Great staff. The sites were perfect and level and the bathrooms clean. We stayed a few days ago during ice storm and had to pull over and book in person. Wonderful experience. One suggestion is to have towels for safe. This would have allowed us to bath while there since it was a spur of the moment pull over and we had nothing and roads were too bad to go to real store. But great time.

We only stopped there overnight got there late and left early so I’m not sure about the area. But it was very convenient to Highway and good signage to find a place and it was very quiet

Although cold, it was a beautiful campground with great amenities. Sites were set up nicely. Great dog park. Will definitely stay here again on our travels!

We have stayed at this koa campground at least 7 times in the last year and have always been pleased with the the whole process and professionalism we’ve received. We were upgraded from a tent site to a drive through because of a snowfall. We have a vehicle with a bed, so we really just needed power for heat. Staff is always accommodating and pleasant. Thank you! See you again very soon:)

Drove through a blizzard to get here as our usual place was not open. Traveling was so bad we extended our stay for an additional day. Very pleasant, staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed it and will stay again on our way home.

I totally wish I had stayed for more than one night! We were traveling back east from a trip to the Mid-West. As I-40 was under construction, we decided to enter VA via I-81. That brought us to Wytheville KOA. This place is fantastic! Very large spaces, open roads, good services and very well kept grounds. We are already planning a trip to eastern VA just to spend some time at this park!

Just stay the night during are drive back to cape cod was glad to find out that they were open year around. Staff was great will definitely use this campground in the future.

It was just an overnight stay in the off season but it was a nice night and the staff was very helpful and gave us side by side sites because we travel with our friends.

In an unusual situation from our many years of camping travel, I can say that this is a rare KOA. The pull through sites were actually a nice size as were the other sites we saw. Getting in and out was easy for a big rig. We didn't get to see some of the facilities since it was the off season but everything appeared clean and well maintained.

We stayed when it was 5 degrees! We had a few issues with our coach. Staff was wonderful! Especially ISSAC!!!

Only stayed for one night, but it's a lovely park. Full hookups, roomy spots. There's a neat family fun center on the grounds, but it's only open Friday & Saturday, due to it being the "off season", which is understandable. There's a fenced in dog park, playground for the kids, mini golf, a well stocked store and beautiful scenery. We'd gladly stay here again when we return to the area.
