We had a good overnight stay. We were there during the off season I imagine because only a handful of rigs in the park. With all the stuff to do there I bet it gets really busy. Showers were hot and clean. Thanks for a great stay.

The Wytheville, VA KOA is our go-to stop on our way to Pennsylvania. The proximity to I-77 provides an easy on and off opportunity. This KOA has numerous activities for families including a 6 lane bowling alley. The campground was quiet, well maintained, and comfortable. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time camping and enjoying all of the neat things to do...you don't have to leave the campground! �ϋ�Definitely planning on going back!!

They have the biggest lot I've seen in a KOA. Nice play area for kids and pets, pond and bowling alley The store doesn't open till nine a.m.and closes at 7p.m.. iIt is basically stocked with camping equipment and some kids stuff but no groceries.

Although it is posted out front at the desk that you can ask for an escort to your site if you want one, we have never had to ask at any of the other KOAs we have stayed at. This oversight resulted in my husband backing into an electrical/sewage pole. He had an exhausting day driving but we still paid even for upgrades to the existing equipment that weren't there before. No ice KOA stickers, etc

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are sorry you feel backing over the utilities on a pull through site that you backed into the wrong direction was our fault. Not sure what "upgrades" were made, but there is power, water and sewer available at the site again. Ice is available in the stocked camp store.Driver is always responsible

While it appears many stay here for a while, we found a perfect stop to spend a night going and coming between Alabama and KOAs north. Two great dog parks, always clean and tidy. Easy in and early out.

They had pull threw for the night. It got very cold . In morning my wife went to lady toiylet had no hot water to wash her hands Temps where 27 degree F. other wise great place to stay when others campgrounds where close if you kids great place

Overall enjoyed our stay. Missed having site trash pickup and an escort to our site. We stayed in a different section this time and the site length + level was much better.

Very nice sites for any size camper. Lots of activities. This was my second time to stay at this campground. Great staff.

As with most KOA booking and checking was very simple even when we arrived after normal check in hours. Easy and enjoyable to not have to worry about the small things after a long days driving.

Stayed 1 night. Arrived after dark, no assistance in finding site, had to stop 3 times to walk streets to find site. Hookups span length of rv so had to use 3 extensions to reach sewer. All the above for $60, very high for very average site. Not worth it!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our campground map provides detailed directions to your site when you arrive after-hours. The site you stayed on has double sewer hook ups, one in the front and one in the rear of the site. Perhaps moving your RV forward or backwards on the site would have helped.

We were very happy with the resort/campground and staff. Everyone was very friendly. They went out of their way to see to our needs and even moved us to a different site to our liking. The grounds were well maintained and very clean. We truly enjoyed our stay and the family fun center. We will return..

Just an overnight nice park did not use any of the facilities large level site we had with good hook ups. The road in and out narrow but that is not on the park, very quiet.

Although it was cold and windy, the facility was clean and comfortable. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful.

In an unusual situation from our many years of camping travel, I can say that this is a rare KOA. The pull through sites were actually a nice size as were the other sites we saw. Getting in and out was easy for a big rig. We didn't get to see some of the facilities since it was the off season but everything appeared clean and well maintained.

We stayed when it was 5 degrees! We had a few issues with our coach. Staff was wonderful! Especially ISSAC!!!

Only stayed for one night, but it's a lovely park. Full hookups, roomy spots. There's a neat family fun center on the grounds, but it's only open Friday & Saturday, due to it being the "off season", which is understandable. There's a fenced in dog park, playground for the kids, mini golf, a well stocked store and beautiful scenery. We'd gladly stay here again when we return to the area.
